The entrance porch doesn’t look the best, so first impressions poor. The barking of a large dog on ringing the doorbell was off putting. Check in was a bit laborious, but owner offered a complementary upgrade to a larger room, which was kind. The room was fine size wise, but the bed not so good. A metal frame which creaked and a poor quality mattress. TV worked fine and tea and coffee a plenty. Water provided too (with an offer of more if needed). Bathroom cramped, but the shower worked well for an electric one (not a big fan of these). Shower handset leaking badly at flexi pipe junction and wouldn’t screw up anymore. Shower door very stiff and wouldn’t stay closed. I did mention it to the owner on leaving. Hotel is close to a social club, so if you want an early night and music is on, you’ll struggle to sleep. Parking a bit of an issue being a narrow street, but I parked on a new estate close by. An OK place, but doubtful I would return.

Would absolutely stay again. this is my second time, and i upgraded my room, fantastic. Breakfast is to die for. i didnt eat for the rest of the day i was so full. and the little cute dog was so friendly, she greeted me when i left the room for breakfast.

The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again.
