Our stay at The Patterson Inn was wonderful! The staff was welcoming and very professional at every level. The adjacent pub, also owned by The Patterson, was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after our day at the Denver Art Museum. Thank you especially to the breakfast chef, immediately likeable, for caring about the details of our experience. We will return!

The Patterson Inn is a true gem. It is a lovely small inn (only 9 guest rooms) in an old mansion in the Capital Hill area of Denver. The rooms are all different, very clean, nicely appointed, and extremely comfortable. A tasty breakfast is cooked to order in the morning. The entire staff is incredible. They are all friendly and helpful. The owner is on the premises and available to chat. There is a bonus in an attached bar that is like an old "speakeasy". I highly recommend the Patterson Inn!

The historic building was very cool! Some minor cosmetic things liked chipped paint, but you can tell the building is cared for. All the staff was amazing. Very limited parking so be prepared to potentially walk a bit to the building.

The Patterson is a wonderful old property in a very nice area of Denver. The staff is efficient and friendly and the on-site tavern with outdoor seating is an extra. Location is great, close to downtown, parks, museums, etc. I plan to be staying there again in the near future.

Nice historic property but small with limited services. No heat in bathroom that I could see, was cold in the morning and it is only October. Reasonably good location, but parking lot is 1 block away and not lit, very dark, did not want to leave my car there.

Amazing property, great staff, super location. We loved the personal attention from the staff, from the owner who greeted us on our late arrival, to the gent who made breakfast, to the mixologist in the speakeasy-feel bar. Our room, the "Library", was themed like the Clue board game. We enjoyed the easter-egg hunt finding the rope, revolver, knife, wrench, etc., scattered around, and that the books over the headboard were cleverly arranged by color corresponding to those of the game characters. We're only sorry we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful bed and breakfast type inn in a fabulous historic home in Capitol Hill Area. We crated in the Cheshire room which had an Alice in Wonderland theme. Parking is hit or miss only 3 or so spaces on site or you have to use a satellite lot a few blocks away. Luckily we were always able to park at the inn.

Outstanding old mansion converted to B& B has quaint bar attached. Fabulous breakfasts made to order sweet or savory. Very 1890's but modern amenities. Royale room had private roof top deck, and claw foot tub! Staff very friendly. Quiet neighborhood easy walk to Capitol.

Claw foot tub. Kind desk people. Good breakfast. Left on early flight and chef left coffee and muffins for me. Comfortable. Very quiet. Not a big box hotel with expensive parking. Parking at the Patterson Inn is free—nice small bar, 12 Spirits—in hotel. Nice company and conversation there and a great grilled cheese sandwich.

We had an excellent stay. If you are looking for someplace to stay that isn't just another typical hotel, this is the place to go. The staff was extremely nice, each room has a different theme and are tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was freshly made to order and delicious. We were in town celebrating a birthday so they provided complementary champagne as well as a couple drinks at their bar. We would not hesitant to stay here again in the future, and likely will be coming back soon.

We booked an anniversary stay at the Historic Patterson Inn. The building was very secure and the backdrop was historic downtown Denver. The place was very charming and clean. The staff was very professional and friendly. They gave us free drink vouchers and offered free champagne as a complimentary gift for our anniversary celebration. There is a lounge downstairs with a very friendly mixologist! The drinks were delicious and creative. The room had very soft beds and clean sheets. The bathtub was amazingly roomy with great water pressure. They even supplied robes to use that were extra comfortable. I almost bought one but couldnt handle the pricetag. It seemed very private and I didnt even hear another person the whole time! Included was a delicious breakfast, your choice of savory or sweet. I had a potato skillet topped with caramelized onion. Delightful!

Stayed in the Antoinette room and loved it. Super clean and quiet even with being directly by the front door and front of the building. Breakfast both morning was delicious and every staff member I interacted with was kind.

We stayed in the Prague and it was amazing!! Bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and clean!! All staff were very friendly and helpful!!! Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

We stayed at The Patterson the night of our wedding reception because I have ALWAYS wanted to sleep in a canopy bed and the Prague Room has the most beautiful bed! We didn't even know about the 27 foot high ceilings above it until we walked in the room! Stunning! It just made everything feel more special. The bathroom is also stunning and so clean (I felt sorry for whoever has to clean those beautiful glass walls but was SO glad that they keep it so nice). Also, we didn't know about the ghost stories before arriving and, strangely, as we drifted off to sleep my wife said, "Do you hear those people talking?" I heard nothing. She said, "It sounds like a man and a woman talking." And then a few moments later she said, "I also hear muffled voices like a party." She said, "It must be people out on the street" but I remember drifting off to sleep thinking it was strange I couldn't hear any voices. The next morning, at our delicious breakfast, we learned that others have heard similar things from Room No. 9 (which was right next to ours). Strange and kind of cool!

Had a great weekend stay with my sister. Stayed in the Cheshire room which was spacious. We arrived early (noon) and were just going to get a parking pass to park our car and then walk downtown until check-in time, but since the room was ready, they accommodated us checking in early. Staff were all very nice, including Brandon and Jake and their delicious breakfasts. Easy walk to museums and Civic Center Park. Would stay here again!

Very much loved my stay here. The historical building is even more beautiful inside, everyone was friendly and open, and the included breakfast was delicious. Room was also spacious, quiet, and omg, the huge tub! Can't wait to return.

I have been coming here for my birthday three years in a row and each time is such a pleasure. Chris is a phenomenal owner and host as well as his management team Scott and Erica. Words still can’t describe how much I absolutely love this place.

The Patterson in was such a dream.. Such a beautiful property and piece of history. The whole place has been restored to preserve the original character, which I love. The staff is great. Super friendly and just made it feel like an extention of home. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the Denver area.

I have traveled many places. The Patterson Inn has been the best experience ever!! I received a call a week prior to my check in to go over any personal requests, making breakfast reservations, and to finalize my stay. First off, the Inn is stunning, from the unique charm and character of the building to the personable care and concern of the employees. Brandon (the Patterson Inn’s personal chef) is amazing taking note of any dietary restrictions, so don’t miss breakfast!! I’m not a breakfast girl, but oh my…he goes above and beyond! The 12 Spirits Tavern is a charming and comfortable bar. Enjoy reading a book in the courtyard to entering the tavern to meet up with friends for drinks before starting your evening. The Patterson is close to everything in walking distance. I have made it my agenda to stay in every room since they all have their own character and charm. I stayed in the smallest room, the Antoinette. The room was beautifully large with an amazingly comfortable bed and large bathroom. I can’t stress how the owner, Chris has kept the beauty and splendor of this building, while going above and beyond for his guests comfort on their stay. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The check-in staff was wonderful, the chef made amazing breakfasts, and the place was clean and quiet. We had to leave earlier and missed breakfast to head to the airport and they sent us home with muffins. As we were loading up to leave, my wife said "We are staying here next time" and i agree. We definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Patterson Inn and would happily stay there again. They are committed to ensuring the best service for their guests. You also won't find a better breakfast anywhere in town. It is a charming place to stay for any occasion.

Our stay was fantastic. The property is beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to help us with changing breakfast times to laundering a stained shirt. Spend the few extra dollars to stay here vs. some chain hotel where your just 'another' guest.

We’re not really B&B people because we just want a place to sleep. But this experience may have changed my mind. The Patterson architecture was awesome, the bed was super comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We arrived an hour early and the helpful staff were able to get us in our room right away. I would stay here again!

Beautiful historic property. Well maintained. Chef made exceptional food for us. We have so much food allergy and we enjoyed the breakfast. Will stay again if we visit Denver. The staff is very nice and helpful. Amazing place to stay! So close to downtown Denver. We walked to see the historic and art museums.

The Patterson is a wonderful old property in a very nice area of Denver. The staff is efficient and friendly and the on-site tavern with outdoor seating is an extra. Location is great, close to downtown, parks, museums, etc. I plan to be staying there again in the near future.

This 1880’s mansion has been beautifully restored and is a delight from front door to turret. The breakfast is gourmet with choices between sweet or savory. The staff is attentive and helpful. And the locale is in a lovely leafy neighborhood near museums and capitol building.

This hotel is a actually a mansion from the turn of the century, so there is awesome history here. The staff went above and beyond. And I need to say this: the Breakfast is next level. DO NOT SKIP THE BREAKFAST. Brandon is the chef and he knows exactly what he is doing. You're robbing yourself if you don't start your day with his creations. Overall, this place is a total treat to stay at. It's easily an 11 out of 10.

Outstanding old mansion converted to B& B has quaint bar attached. Fabulous breakfasts made to order sweet or savory. Very 1890's but modern amenities. Royale room had private roof top deck, and claw foot tub! Staff very friendly. Quiet neighborhood easy walk to Capitol.

Nice hotel/B&B within easy walking distance of the govt buildings/park/museums downtown. Also had the best breakfast there (included with room) that I have ever had. Strongly recommend for the breakfast alone (room was neat, comfortable and clean as well, but the breakfast was mind blowing)

Patterson Inn was the best choice I could have made for my recent trip to Denver. The staff were attentive, kind, and made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Chris and his staff are so warm and welcoming, felt as if I was staying with friends. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. Delicious homemade breakfast each morning, with a choice of sweet or savory options really was a highlight. The property is gorgeous, a history buff's dream stay. As a solo traveler, would I highly recommend a stay at the Patterson, neighborhood is quiet, safe, and easy to get to all major attractions and highways. Thank you to the Patterson Inn for making my trip so comfortable. If I'm ever back in Denver, I'll be popping by to say hello and drink at the tavern. :) -Kris from NJ

Stayed here for three nights solo when visiting for a show at Red Rocks. Received several emails prior with all necessary information to prepare for stay. Do take note that there is an elevator to the rooms on 2nd floor, if you choose a room on the 3rd floor there are winding stairs from floor 2 to 3 . Such an incredibly beautiful building. Spacious, clean, well appointed rooms, super comfy bed and linens and incredible breakfast . The room and bathroom were a very generous size. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful from helping me up the stairs with my luggage to serving the delicious breakfast . Chris the owner was charismatic, funny and a pleasure to chat with. He made me feel like I was a guest at a friend’s mansion. Thoroughly loved sitting outside on the patio sipping coffee and reading. My only regret was that I slept in the first two mornings and didn’t make it for breakfast, luckily enjoyed on my last day and was delish. I would definitely suggest getting out of bed for breakfast, so worth it . Highly recommend a stay here
