The room was clean and comfortable. Pool and patio are in the center / courtyard and all the room doors open to the center courtyard so it felt very secure and safe. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The room has a refrigerator and microwave. The worse part of the stay was the breakfast. It was just 2 types of cereal, some white toast, waffle machine, wrapped hard boiled eggs (which tastes and smelled bad) and hot beverages. They could definitely do better here.

It was okay! Overall, a good experience. felt safe, the room was clean and nice for the most part except for a silverfish or two we found in the bed. Check in and check out was a breeze, the guy who checked us in was very nice. Shower was a bit dirty but nothing awful. I like the layout of the hotel, the pool is BEAUTIFUL with the cutest fake outdoor area inside as well.

We stayed here to visit family in nearby McDade. While the property is fairly new, it isn’t the cleanest (mildew in the shower). It does have a nice outdoor area with a pool in the courtyard. We didn’t have the time to enjoy that area but wished that we did. It seemed unusual (but nice) that the outdoor pool was open. Breakfast buffet really limited. But then, it was the cheapest option in the area so, you get what you pay for. Convenient to everything in Elgin and helpful that the hotel entrance has a stoplight as traffic on the main road can be quite busy. It’s nice that the hotel is set back a bit from the road, but it still has good signage so you don’t miss it in the dark.

Decent hotel. Over all sartisfiee. Was woken up a lot by the TV in the court yard blaring throughout the entire night. Can hear everything in the neighboring rooms as well.

Great spot hotel was newer. Rooms were small, but they had Internet TV, which was great. Was able to use Netflix and YouTube. Refrigerator in room but no microwave but they had one you could use in the hotel lobby. The gym was nice. Had kettle ball dumbbells, peloton weight bench everything you needed

The room was hot. After 3.5 hours I let staff know. They checked on it and said it was working (AC). I went out to dinner came back and room was still hot. Called and front desk said, “yeah, all the rooms are like that.” The next morning another guest and I spoke at the coffee machine in lobby. She said her room was cold.

Relatively new hotel, but definitely more of a budget hotel feel. Rooms are clean but quite small. AC/Heat unit is right next to the sink area, so when standing at the sink, it's blowing right on you. Free breakfast was pathetic, coffee machine wasn't working right, there was very little left for breakfast past 8 - and breakfast was supposed to go until 9:30 on a Saturday.

The room was extremely small, especially for 4 people. The beds did not seem like queen size. The bathroom was a tight squeeze. The breakfast options were very limited, even when they first opened. It was not worth the price.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the lobby is nice but there definitely a need for better insulation. Room walls are paper thin. Kids screamingvat the pool early in the morning and then bouncing a ball on the metal stairs could be felt in our room. Bathroom was super tiny and no tub. I called the front desk to ask about an iron and ironing board and she told me I could come get it from the lobby, it was literally a hanging ironing board that was smaller then my shirt, so i just used the bed. Refrigerator was the size of a milk crate and microwave was smaller. Atleast the bed was comfortable. For the money, not worth it again. It's on the highway so you hear every vehicle going by.

We arrived at 2:46pm and the girl at the counter would not let us check in early. Check in was at 3pm. I said we wouldn't be able to come back until about 10pm and to please make sure we got a downstairs room because my wife has a hard time with stairs. She told me she understood and would make sure we got a downstairs room but when we arrived later that evening she was gone and there were no downstairs rooms available. Very disappointed in that. The room however was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Pancakes on a stick, cold cereal and some weird automatic pancake machine that didn't work. Not sure we would start here again to be honest.

HORRIBLE experience @ Quality Inn & Suites in Elgin TX. Our son drove in from Tulsa OK checked in after midnight. They stated he was a NO SHOW. I paid for the room with my Discover Card to ensure he had a room from Aug. 30th to Sept. 1st, checked him in with Itinerary 72057989642133. Sat (08/31/24) our son went back to the hotel to find he had no room as they removed all his personal belongings! He called me & I texted him a copy of the confirmation & receipt! They got him a room but he is missing a UA Under Armor camouflage cap. 09/03/24 I spoke to Saira (emp) & asked her to have the manager Cynthia P call me today! No call! 09/06/24 I called, spoke to Cynthia P.—I should be comped 1 night! She said no. So, I am contacting you all and I will be putting it on social media. Truly angry my son was embarrassed like that!!!

When we got in the room 107 power in half the room didn’t work they had to reset the switch. The light socket the desk sparked blew the power they had to reset, to find out it was incorrectly in. When we left to go to the fair the next day we put the do not disturb sign up since we had a dog in there all though he was in a kennel. They entered anyway made the beds took the used paper cups and towels and didn’t replace them. The floor was filthy needed steam cleaned. Others who were staying had similar problems. DONT STAY THERE RUN SPEND MORE ON ANOTHER PLACE

Overall the stay was good for the price. The one of two doors to enter the property that should have been only opened by a room key was “out of order” and usually just propped open by a rock, so a little unsafe and made it more like a motel. We had 4 pillows for our king size bed, and I was 36 weeks pregnant and asked for a few more and was told absolutely not… so thank god my father had an extra bed with pillows I could borrow for our stay, otherwise I would have been absolutely miserable. Just shocking they wouldn’t be accommodating and give us a few pillows. We didn’t need anything else, but if we did, I feel like they would have said no? Otherwise it was clean enough and we weren’t disturbed by other guests, so noise wasn’t an issue. My father tried the breakfast buffet and said don’t bother waking up for it.

We have stayed here twice, never again. Elgin is very limited on motels. We were tired of the worn out Holiday Inn so we thought this would be better since we saw it being built. It's terrible. Here's why: 1. It's dirty. The carpet was stained and I didn't walk barefoot on it. 2. It's dangerous. There is a really rough neighborhood right behind it and no fence or anything. The car next to us had a broken window when we came out in the morning. 3. Housekeeping is not good. The sheet was stained and had hair on it, the pillow had mascara on it. We asked for fresh sheets and they also had hair on them. 4. The bathroom was bad. The toilet moved around on the floor. Sideways and rocked. The bathroom door couldn't be closed because it hit the toilet. This place was constructed in the last 5 years, don't understand how it is so run down already.

This was a great place to stay for our short trip to the area. It was slightly confusing on how to get into the property from the highway but that is mostly a TXDot issue not the hotel’s fault. The hotel is kept very clean and although the pool was closed because it’s winter you can tell it’s well kept and the area looks like a fun place to hang out. Would like to stay here in the warmer months if I needed to stay in the area. Will be using this Quality Inn in the future for sure.

No restaurants right next to the property, but there is a Myers Smokehouse BBQ, Subway and McDonalds about half a mile away. Apparently, guests are expected to drive this distance. I walked instead and the manager considered me suspicious for walking to dinner and back. After showing keycard and providing room number sorted this out. Otherwise reasonably clean and not too noisy. I've done weekend cycle trips to half a dozen different motels not too far from Austin these past months. This was my least favorite - but Red Roof Inn in Manor is a good alternative.

This is our favorite place to stay when we come through Elgin. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the continental breakfast was fully stocked and delicious. Gotta love those Texas Waffles ☺️Will be back next time.

This time everything worked in the room. Had house keeping without having to ask for it. Pillows are still small so bring extras with you. You do have 4 small pillows on a king bed. Stayed here to weekends in a row with no real problems. If you plan on eating the continental breakfast get there early after about 0800 there is not much remaining.
