Quinta da Fata

The House of Quinta da Fata was built by the end of the XIX century using local granitic stone; it was enlarged in the sixties and refurbished in 1991. It is a house with beautifull views that can be enjoyed from the rooms or from the terrace, With central heating, it has sitting-rooms with fire-places and several rooms with bathrooms. Besides the wineyards the farm has gardens, wide greens and tree zones, including a remarkable linden tree more than 150 years old. The linden tree and the old water reservoir tower are quite outstanding and can be seen from faraway. In this farm, where wine and wineyards are the masters, you can taste at the producer the red wine Quinta da Fata, as you savour some local cheeses and home made sausages.
