The motel is a short distance out of Picton township and is set in a very pleasant green space with a large garden of mature trees and some picnic facilities. There were many interesting birds in the area. Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable but a little hot as the weather was very warm. The air conditioner didn't seem to cool things down as much as I'd hoped. There were some basic pieces of crockery and cutlery in the room which were useful. We were pleased to find the restaurant open on the Saturday night, and had a good meal there. The restaurant and motel staff were friendly and helpful. It was good value and we would definitely stay there again.

This property is not in it's hey day. This place was clearly a fine facility once but the restaurant is not even operated and the one staff member does most things. Parking was in front of the room so very convenient. While at the edge of town, it's still within easy reach.

Booked two Queen rooms mattress in both rooms were very poor both couples had trouble getting to sleep and woke up tried and sore . On the cleanly side spotless and lovely gardens and lawns . Good showers , they just need to up grade their beds which is the main part of having somewhere to sleep overnight .

Will stay again. Lovely property, antique furniture was charming. Our air conditioner was not working as well as it could, warm air was not so warm. The electric blanket on the right of the bed (room 25)) did not work. Mattress was a bit bumpy.

The room was a little dated but otherwise comfortable and had free Netflix. I could hear someone talking quite loudly in the early morning which woke me up. Other than that, was relatively quiet. The Italian restaurant there is amazing and had gluten free pasta. The motel had take away menus in each room. I found that when I took my pasta back there were no forks to eat it with. I would suggest providing some forks, bowls and spoons in each room for guests.

This was just a one-night stay on the way to Canberra. The motel is comfortable and quiet, set in pleasant, leafy grounds a little way out of Picton town. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and the bathroom worked well. The basic crockery was useful as we had taken our own breakfast supplies. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable.

Motel did not have a restaurant and did not do a continental breakfast which was a nuisance as it was not within a walking distance of Picton. We were going to a wedding and the hair dryer didn't work.

We booked online through Hotels.com which I though was a good deal, we travelled from Qld and stayed in the Picton area as it was close to my daughter and kids. We really wanted a stay which had a restaurant and bar area so that we could have at least breakfast and possibly a meal at tea time. But when we arrived the manager told us that the restaurant was closed and couldn’t get any meals etc. This was totally the worst as we would of booked somewhere else that could of serviced our needs to have a meal. This updated information should be placed on the site when making the bookings, this is false advertising in every possible way. I truly believe that Picton Valley Motel is deceiving people if this is not placed on the web page. Totally annoyed and will never book with this Motel or through Hotels.com again. Beware people they are taking your hard earned money without any compensation 😡 Peter
