Hotels fancy but rooms are teeny tiny. No space- especially for that $$$. Pool is tiny and over crowded. Valet parking is $$$. It’s a really nice hotel don’t get me wrong but they should focus less on being fancy and more on guest comfort. The rooms were just ridiculous tiny.

The hotel is a really cool “faux” cowboy affair. The staff by the pool are great and it’s sensible pricing (food + drinks). The pool area is small for the number of rooms, and if you turn up after 10 AM, you will struggle to get a bed on that weekend. I suspect that could lead to a lot of frustration for some guests. One piece of feedback… Check out is 12 PM. Considering the heat if people are heading to the airport later and want to explore the stockyards… There is nowhere to have a shower outside of your room. Considering the climate, I think this is a pretty major oversight for a hotel at this price point.

The location was perfect. Parking was only valet, no other option. Limited space for hanging clothes, no drawers, shower ran onto the floor in the bathroom, no place to hang towels, and very cramped. Over priced room even though it is "historic", we don\'t feel it is worth it.

Super cute, gentrified location with tons to do. Absolutely love the vibe, was clean, and just such a treat. Was crazy busy and pool packed. They could have made the pool triple the size. Whomever did the interior design and finish out are 5 star. Truly. Restaurant was fantastic. Overall the service was excellent with the only minus was we got really late housekeeping service and they didn't restock our coffee. Almost had a meltdown Sunday morning as we had to wait over an hour for somebody to run some to our room. Despite the needing more housekeeping support, would highly recommend.

Very OVERPRICED for small, small room, cramped with furniture I have in my own home. (Born & Raised Texan). This was supposed to be a very special Birthday surprise and I wrote in advance asking for Specific Things. (I guess their overpriced snacks & mini-bar was supposed to cover it.) The only good thing was the location because things were walking distance. However, after paying $50/night w/taxes to park your car, I don’t think walking would have been so bad. Won’t return and do not recommend.

The property is beautiful but I believe it's overpriced. We have stayed in several hotels in Vegas with the same type decor and service that aren't priced as high. We were billed $30 for the use of the TV. Our room had a few small issues such as leaks and the carpet was stained however the staff was very kind and helpful.

First, and only stay at the Drover and I guess I expected more. Room had some trash in it, soap bottle was broken so had to unscrew the lid to wash hands.. pool area was small and not alot of chairs, nobody at towel area at the pool to return towels…. Which created a whole debacle and was made to feel like I was “taking something that wasnt mine”… lol Trust me… If I am paying that much a night, I dont need to take anything.. Restaurant, 97 West was SLOWW service, although the brunch was good. Over all the hotel is pretty… will I go back??? Nope.

This is a beautiful property overall and the only option really for the Stockyard area that is full service and higher end. However, expect long waits when calling front desk for assistance, long waits for requested items to be brought to your room, and valet parking issues. On our arrival, the room was not property cleaned and due to our late check in time, I had to clean myself (just cannot do long hairs and dust/dirt everywhere). Also beware of coffee cups and glasses in room as ours were dirty and the coffee mugs rusty (see photo). Definitely not what we expected for the price point. Employees we encountered were nice, but they were obviously short staffed.

I booked a King Deluxe room and checked in online prior to my arrival. When we arrived the front desk rep told me there were no Kings available, only Double Queens. We had no other offer presented to us and they did not price match the King Deluxe reservation so I was charged more for a room I didn’t book. The rep continued to tell us how much we will love the view from our room. We get to our room and our view was a team of construction workers working on a renovations. We received a phone call shortly after we got into our room to see how our check in went. We explained that we didn’t get the room we booked. They said they would bring us a bottle of complimentary champagne right away. We did not receive the bottle until after 10 pm and the it was a bottle of wine, even though the card they left with it also stated champagne. I’m not upset about that, but it shows that they lack in the attention to detail area. After texting for our car from the valet before we headed downstairs, the valet still hadn’t pulled up our car and were all just standing at their booth confused on which keys were for our car. The only decent service we received here was from the pool servers. I had been wanting to stay here for so long, but now I will most likely not return.

I loved the hotel, the decor and the area. It was all perfection. The hotel restaurant and bar were also incredible with fantastic service and food. We had an issue with room service, the person taking the order, making sure it was ready to go and the person bringing it all messed up royally. Lauren, the manager definitely made it right. She is great at her job. We also had an issue with housekeeping not removing the food trays after we requested it several times. The staff at the front desk handled it. All in all, I'll for sure go back!

We live in Dallas and dropped off our youngest child at A&M for college. Instead of going straight home, we did a staycation at The Drover to decompress before adjusting to our new “empty nest” life. Has been on our bucket list to visit and it didn’t disappoint. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff (front desk, pool, and concierge) was friendly, amenities were amazing, and the level of detail throughout was impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner (97 West) on property as well. Steps away from Stockyards was the cherry on top. Would definitely stay here again!

I booked a King Deluxe room and checked in online prior to my arrival. When we arrived the front desk rep told me there were no Kings available, only Double Queens. We had no other offer presented to us and they did not price match the King Deluxe reservation so I was charged more for a room I didn’t book. The rep continued to tell us how much we will love the view from our room. We get to our room and our view was a team of construction workers working on a renovations. We received a phone call shortly after we got into our room to see how our check in went. We explained that we didn’t get the room we booked. They said they would bring us a bottle of complimentary champagne right away. We did not receive the bottle until after 10 pm and the it was a bottle of wine, even though the card they left with it also stated champagne. I’m not upset about that, but it shows that they lack in the attention to detail area. After texting for our car from the valet before we headed downstairs, the valet still hadn’t pulled up our car and were all just standing at their booth confused on which keys were for our car. The only decent service we received here was from the pool servers. I had been wanting to stay here for so long, but now I will most likely not return.

This property was amazing. Our room was above the valet area so it was a little noisy in the evening. The property was lovely and the staff was excellent. What an amazing property. Would love to stay here again when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the grounds.

Property is very nice but service was not great. Valet let people go in front of us as we were waiting; check-in was chaotic and people were cutting in line. We were told we could check-in at 2:30 but room was still being cleaned. The lady said it would only be a few minutes and we would get a text. Text Bebe came and I had to go back 44 minutes later to remind them. Others who arrived later were already getting rooms .service should be better especially for the price of the room.

This is a beautiful property overall and the only option really for the Stockyard area that is full service and higher end. However, expect long waits when calling front desk for assistance, long waits for requested items to be brought to your room, and valet parking issues. On our arrival, the room was not property cleaned and due to our late check in time, I had to clean myself (just cannot do long hairs and dust/dirt everywhere). Also beware of coffee cups and glasses in room as ours were dirty and the coffee mugs rusty (see photo). Definitely not what we expected for the price point. Employees we encountered were nice, but they were obviously short staffed.

I loved the hotel, the decor and the area. It was all perfection. The hotel restaurant and bar were also incredible with fantastic service and food. We had an issue with room service, the person taking the order, making sure it was ready to go and the person bringing it all messed up royally. Lauren, the manager definitely made it right. She is great at her job. We also had an issue with housekeeping not removing the food trays after we requested it several times. The staff at the front desk handled it. All in all, I'll for sure go back!

This hotel is really top notch. My only complaint and it is minor in the overall scheme of things is that the servers did not know which items on the menu could be adapted to vegan even though the hostess had assured us this was certainly no problem and to discuss it with our server. I’m not sure the server really knew what being vegan meant.

Super cute, gentrified location with tons to do. Absolutely love the vibe, was clean, and just such a treat. Was crazy busy and pool packed. They could have made the pool triple the size. Whomever did the interior design and finish out are 5 star. Truly. Restaurant was fantastic. Overall the service was excellent with the only minus was we got really late housekeeping service and they didn't restock our coffee. Almost had a meltdown Sunday morning as we had to wait over an hour for somebody to run some to our room. Despite the needing more housekeeping support, would highly recommend.

First, and only stay at the Drover and I guess I expected more. Room had some trash in it, soap bottle was broken so had to unscrew the lid to wash hands.. pool area was small and not alot of chairs, nobody at towel area at the pool to return towels…. Which created a whole debacle and was made to feel like I was “taking something that wasnt mine”… lol Trust me… If I am paying that much a night, I dont need to take anything.. Restaurant, 97 West was SLOWW service, although the brunch was good. Over all the hotel is pretty… will I go back??? Nope.
