Scam hotel avoid at all costs. Arrived to be told hotel was overbooked so we couldn't stay but would be refunded. When I saw it I was glad we were not staying, its a dump! No refund they do not answer the phone to me or Expedia and very frustrating. Never again

This place should be condemned - do not stay here!!! The car park is a dump, full of rubbish and glass. We were extremely wary about leaving our car here. The reception area is a complete mess, full of junk, dirty and untidy. Apparently there is building work going on but there were no signs of this. When someone finally bothered to acknowledge our presence, we were taken to a room. The dirty, smelly, dingy space which we were shown looked disgusting. There was no ensuite (which we had booked), so we returned to the reception area to ask about this. The response was very non-committal so we left.

I am genuinely disappointed to have to write this review, but my recent experience at this property was extremely upsetting. I arrived with my son, and the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that the accommodation was nothing like the photos shown on Hotels.com. The air‑conditioning was not working, which I could have accepted, as this also happened at another hotel the day before. However, the real issue was the overall cleanliness and condition of the room. The toilet was visibly stained and brown inside, the shower area was rusty and grimy, and the general state of the room felt neglected and unhygienic. It was far below any acceptable standard. My son became very stressed and panicked because of the condition of the room, and I felt terrible for exposing him to that environment. We had no choice but to leave immediately. I tried to find alternative accommodation, but nothing was available at such short notice. After attending our event in London, I had to drive three hours back home and arrived after 2am. It completely ruined the final part of our trip. I have already submitted a claim to Hotels.com, but I have not received a response yet. I am requesting more than just a refund, as this situation was not caused by us choosing to leave — the room was simply not fit to stay in. The listing was misleading, and the condition of the property caused significant stress, inconvenience, and additional travel. I hope this matter is taken seriously and resolved appropriately.

Utterly dreadful experience. Arrived to be told they had double booked so had no rooms. Despite there being no sign of anyone staying there. Staff didn’t seem bothered saying it happens all the time. Having seen the place and reading recent reviews, we had a lucky escape. The place looked disgusting and nothing like the pictures.

It was closed and still a building site this accommodation is the worse I have ever seen it was unbelievable words can't describe it
