Exquisite, Charming, elegant. Fantastic. A great bed and breakfast in the English countryside. Not much around except a cute pub and and the war museum. Come here for a relaxing stay and a great meal. Very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are perfect for a vacation wedding or gathering. Well worth the trip!

Charming oasis. Beautifully appointed areas, lovely accommodation. We stayed in rooms 3&4 of the Courtyard area (aka Stables), very comfortable and nicely decorated, kitchen, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable beds. Food service was excellent in dining room and Cafe. The outside spaces are perfect for curling up and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here to relax and rejuvenate. Fabulous venue for a wedding, family reunion or special occasion.

This hotel is a real little gem just minutes away from the Duxford imperial War Museum and Airfield. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner in the open air restaurant. Highly recommend the Lodge at Duxford!

Loved this hotel, very quiet, great modern décor and the in-room facilities were excellent. Great little extras like home baked cookies and slow gin too! service was spot on too, will definitely be returning.

We were looking for a convenient place for Cambridge and found this lovely little hotel just a few minutes drive outside the city. This hotel has an excellent boutique ambience. The room was comfortable and well equipped and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Room was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and pillows , lovely bar area outside, and nice and quiet. We eat in the restaurant and whilst the menu is a bit limited the food we had was delicious. Nice bar area with good cocktails and a great cocktail barman .

Such a beautiful place to stay. Decor was nice and the grounds were well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. Lovely bar area and even though we didn’t dine there, we saw the food going out and it looked so good. Approx 20 mins drive from Cambridge but free parking so quite pleased. Would definitely recommend!!

I stayed in loft 1, My room was clean well decorated, there was plenty of staff on hand if assistance was needed, who were well dressed and very friendly and helpful.

Sadly this property flatters to deceive. On the face of it, The Lodge is a trendy boutique hotel with street art on the walls. However, our room was ill-conceived - a superking bed is great if the room is big enough, but in an ‘average’ size room it meant it felt cramped. What’s worse is that the room was so dusty and stuffy that we ended up sleeping with a window wide open despite it being a cold March night. Paint on the ceiling was peeling off, bathroom badly designed, shower faulty and a questionable room ‘design’ throughout (why put a small and empty room fridge inside a big wooden box to make it double its size and block access to a window? Having a room inside the The Lodge itself was noisy… you could hear those in the adjoining room and footsteps above, below and outside. In fairness, the staff were friendly and breakfast good. This hotel design needs a serious rethink and refresh.

Atmosphere was great and hotel was nicely laid out. There were a few areas to improve, such as bathroom cleanliness (suspect hairs from previous guests), and shower head sprayed everywhere. Also the plug in the middle of the bed was a bit strange. But we still had a lovely stay and the dinner and breakfast was excellent.

We had an excellent stay here with a meal in the evening that was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was great. Comfortable bed, brilliant bathroom. Everything you could want from a stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Beautifully decorated comfortable room, gorgeous bathroom with courtyard view. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent and the food was excellent too. Would definitely go back.

Amazing stay, food and staff. The only thing that let it down for us was privacy! We had a stable room and the only window was beside the bed on a walkway so curtain was closed all off our stay which made the room very dark, its painted a dark colour too so that didnt help! There was a gap at the side of the curtain which then looks through to a mirror just opposite the bed so we had to turn that round! The door also opened up and you look straight onto the bed from the back of the hotel. I would certainly stay again just different room.

Rather expensive. The Cozy room is in the basement, next to a public bathroom, having heard a dog yapping last night I finally got to meet it on check out as it chased me down the reception barking, much to the humour of the staff working. At over a £110 a night I’ll not be returning.

Food was excellent! Hotel accommodation is poor. The corridor light was left on all night outside room and there is a small glass window in the door, so light was in the room all night. Walls are paper thin. I could hear conversations in next door room, also hear the tv and even hear someone plugging in items into the wall sockets. When doors close the whole room shakes! Bed rock hard. I would suggest a member of the management spend the night in the courtyard rooms to experience the lack of sleep from the uncomfortable rooms. Also, try washing your face in the bathroom sink. Practically impossible due to the design! Staff friendly enough and was hoping I would be asked how my stay was when I checked out, but I was not. Otherwise I would have stated the above on check out.

Overall a great hotel, although we had the ‘Cosy Room’ and had a very disturbed nights sleep through noise from the hotel. I would go again, but not in that room.

Everything was nice but the room I had was not fit for business as there was no desk per se. Appart frol that i loved the room nice carpet soundprooness Marshall loudspeaker (nice touch).

We had a short trip to Cambridge and found this hotel ideally situated. Around 10 minutes to the park and ride. 5 minutes from Duxford air museum. Lovely village setting with a couple of pubs to choose from. All staff genuinely friendly. Food and drinks very good and reasonably priced.

Gorgeous buildings in great quiet location but not more than a few miles off motorway. Bit of a mix up with our booking but quickly resolved. We stayed in the stables which were lovely and warm despite the heavy snow. Sadly no veggie options for dinner as the food looked great but pub around corner provided.

Loved this hotel, very quiet, great modern décor and the in-room facilities were excellent. Great little extras like home baked cookies and slow gin too! service was spot on too, will definitely be returning.

We were looking for a convenient place for Cambridge and found this lovely little hotel just a few minutes drive outside the city. This hotel has an excellent boutique ambience. The room was comfortable and well equipped and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Exquisite, Charming, elegant. Fantastic. A great bed and breakfast in the English countryside. Not much around except a cute pub and and the war museum. Come here for a relaxing stay and a great meal. Very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are perfect for a vacation wedding or gathering. Well worth the trip!

We had a short trip to Cambridge and found this hotel ideally situated. Around 10 minutes to the park and ride. 5 minutes from Duxford air museum. Lovely village setting with a couple of pubs to choose from. All staff genuinely friendly. Food and drinks very good and reasonably priced.

Gorgeous buildings in great quiet location but not more than a few miles off motorway. Bit of a mix up with our booking but quickly resolved. We stayed in the stables which were lovely and warm despite the heavy snow. Sadly no veggie options for dinner as the food looked great but pub around corner provided.

This hotel is a real little gem just minutes away from the Duxford imperial War Museum and Airfield. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner in the open air restaurant. Highly recommend the Lodge at Duxford!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Decor was nice and the grounds were well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. Lovely bar area and even though we didn’t dine there, we saw the food going out and it looked so good. Approx 20 mins drive from Cambridge but free parking so quite pleased. Would definitely recommend!!

Room was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and pillows , lovely bar area outside, and nice and quiet. We eat in the restaurant and whilst the menu is a bit limited the food we had was delicious. Nice bar area with good cocktails and a great cocktail barman .

Atmosphere was great and hotel was nicely laid out. There were a few areas to improve, such as bathroom cleanliness (suspect hairs from previous guests), and shower head sprayed everywhere. Also the plug in the middle of the bed was a bit strange. But we still had a lovely stay and the dinner and breakfast was excellent.

We had an excellent stay here with a meal in the evening that was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was great. Comfortable bed, brilliant bathroom. Everything you could want from a stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Room 3 was a Small room and cramped en-suite with tiny basin. However bed was comfortable and water hot . Attention to detail would help with initial response: room needed a good dusting on light fittings and ledges, bed frame had come away on one side and needs repair, Roman blind was partially broken so would not raise or lower properly. A tray for teacups & spoons would avoid marking furniture, wardrobe door was away from its bottom hinge. Very hot weather and there was a winter duvet on the bed! A top sheet was quickly produced on request. Evening meal was tasty. We thought the continental breakfast was very poor: 3 uninspiring cereals, sliced supermarket bread not kept covered so it was drying out and attracted flies , staff not on top of maintaining supplies of fruit or china. For a 4 star hotel we expected at least some fresh bread rolls and better choice of fruit and cold meat/ cheese ( only 1 of each) particularly as hotel had a high occupancy rate. The cappuccino coffee was excellent. All staff were very welcoming and hospitable . Good parking and location. We would consider another stay if we could get a nicer room - the dark grey decor and industrial lighting fittings were not conducive to relaxing and the lighting was poor and it was hard to read. Hospitality times are hard we know but the tiny details make a difference . Great staff who are chatty and enthusiastic . Nice to have an independent quirky hotel. All the best.

Close to RAF Duxford with views of the flights going over. An old mansion that’s been converted to a hotel with stable bedrooms. Three stars only because the room didn’t have aircon and was simply too hot and humid (yes it is the final days of the heatwave, so I’m sure it’s comfortable at other times. Breakfast was highly recommended by other reviewers and it was cooked well to order, but it took ten minutes to be able to order it (no buffet or drink options in the meantime) and another 35 minutes to be cooked and delivered, which is way to long imho, and was expensive
