Hot tub didn’t work, was lukewarm at best, no pool towels. When Alex asked the staff for some she said she’d be right back and 30 minutes later we had to go back out and ask for some. It wasn’t busy. Rooms and breakfast were phenomenal, location is perfect for Coralville!

The hotel was booked the day before coming for a quick family getaway. I called to make sure the hot tub was working before booking. We get there (less than 24 hours later) and it’s out of order. Front desk was apologetic but “nothing she could do.” Kids were so disappointed.

It’s confusing trying to figure out how to get into the hotel, the parking is behind the building. Overall good, is right off the highway. Breakfast was nice and the room was quiet and clean. Comfortable bed ands loved the ceiling fan.

The property's location is excellent, and the surrounding area is also safe, but the Hotel carpet was dirty and smelled like smoke. It is perfect place to stay if carpet is cleaned.

We had a wonderful stay. The area of town was quiet with restaurants and shops right outside the hotel entrance. Delicious woodburning pizza restaurant directly across the street. Not sure how quiet it would be on a college football weekend. Our room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and loved the pillows. Breakfast had lots of choices and better than most complimentary breakfasts offered by other hotels. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is great and in such a convenient area. Everything you need is in walking distance. However, after we got done swimming and went to get in the bed I noticed there was blood on our comforter so I told my kids to get off of it. I called the front desk and told them about it and they gave us a new room. The gentleman came to our room and gave us new keys for our new room down the hall. Me and the kids had to pack up all of our stuff late at night and move rooms which was fine considering the bed had blood stains. What really made me upset was the gentleman who help us only gave us two free bottles of water for “our troubles”. Really? Two bottles of water for having a room with someone’s blood stained on the bed? No thank you! That doesn’t cut it. I decided not to make a scene about it in front of my children and waited until the morning to tell someone else about this. The lady I spoke to at the front desk was very understanding. She couldn’t credit my room since I booked through a third party but she did give me a free one night voucher to use in the future. Unfortunate experience but other than that I do recommend the hotel

The staff were courteous and helpful. The property was very clean. The room had a kitchen that was well stocked with dishes. The beds snd pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was well attended too. The pool and hot tub were a hit. We just needed a quick overnight place with a pool, as we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. This was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful newer hotel in the heart of Hawkeye country. Spacious room with full kitchen and sitting room. Huge bathroom and all the necessities. Only complaint would be the mattress and the pillows. Mattress was way too soft - no support at all and the pillows we had were faux down feather pillow which again offer no neck support. Glad we brought our own pillows. Other than that, it’s a great hotel.

We got to the property a little before check in and they were able to get us into our room early. We loved the two bedroom suite!! Every hotel should have this option. Great competition to the condo rentals. Clean, beautiful, safe, great shopping and wonderful restaurant just a block away. 30 Hops I think it was called. Pool was very small but that wasn’t our main reason to stay so it didn’t bother us. Very comfortable beds and best kept kitchen I have ever seen. Clean glasses modern glassware. Each room had its own ac unit so it was easy to keep everyone comfortable.

I love staying here. Always clean,and very friendly staff. We had a huge group of friends come in for the weekend and we can be loud at times. They did great accommodating all of us. Only negative is the hide a bed was broken so we had to improvise.

We had reserved two rooms and they did what they could to get them close to each other. They had a Welcome message showing on the tv when we got there. The tv wasn't working when got there but they sent someone right up to fix it. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Staff were very unfriendly. Connie did not even bother to greet me when I arrived for check in. They’re never at the front desk. Always in the back. Toilet was not draining water, had to ask for room change. They tried to fix it but did not change my room. I would say It’s a very average hotel.

Stayed 2 nights during a blizzard and other than no on site restaurant, and no covered parking our stay was great. It’s part of an entertainment complex so there are several restaurants within walking distance along with lots of shops. However, because of the snow all of those places shut down at 3, and we had to hike over to another hotel for dinner. Love to come back and visit in the summer!!!

We stayed for 5 nights at the Homewood suites and it was wonderful! Everything was just as great or even better than I’d expected. Highlights were many: abundant shopping and dining nearby, the pool and hot tub (clean, fun, and just the right temp!), breakfast (I always get my hopes up to be let down, but not here!). We fully enjoyed our stay and there were no downsides at all.

The suite was roomy but the beds were uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast was cold and didn’t have very many choices. Also thought it was very inconvenient that the parking was far away.
