The staff was amazing - very friendly and attentive. The breakfast area was very cute, and the food was delicious. The bed was also very comfortable which can be tough to find! All in all, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you to all of the staff!

Very nice boutique hotel that is a short walk to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Friendly staff was quite helpful with directions and even packed us a breakfast to go when we had to check out before the restaurant opened.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Very kind, helpful and thoughtful English speaking staff. I corresponded with them via email from the US even before I headed to Italy and they helped me with transfer options from the airport and making dinner reservations for me. The room was beautiful with so many amenities. But the thing that really stood out was the absolutely AWESOME and AMAZING homemade breakfast spreads they had each morning, included! Their food was outstanding. I asked and was hoping that they also did dinner, but it is just breakfast of various bakery delicacies, fruits, tarts, cheeses, desserts, fresh squeezed juices, coffee ofc, AND on top of that, they will make any type of egg, pancake, waffle, etc. I was stuffed the first day with just the great spread stuff. Truly a gem of a hotel. I would definitely stay again and will encourage my family to do the same.

This stay was absolutely fabulous, from the moment we arrived to our departure. It made me appreciate boutique style hotels,(I usually go for the chain hotels) with the touch of pampered elegance, while still being friendly and inviting, even offering umbrellas for the rainy days of Venice (which were many) . A seating room complete with grand piano you could play, Murano glass wall mural & a full dress costume from the Carnival of Venice (more stunning than I thought ). It's compact but the room was quite large & full of amenities, beautiful rain shower, bidet, walk in closet, robes, safe, mini refrig, nice tv, small canal from our window ,tour books & very comfortable bed & a few cookies. But nothing compared to the breakfast which was prepared by the staff and cooked entirely by the owner every morning. I had nutella crepes and my husband had fresh poached eggs with a sliver of fried sardines that added that venetian touch. And I won't tell you about all the pastries the owner made. pear tart, orange muffin, chocolate pear mini cake, cream puff...delicious. I'd go back just for the breakfast. I cannot forget Renato at front desk who helped us throughout with the friendliness of a family member and even with arrangements in the middle of the night to get a water taxi because of a family emergency and we had to cut short our trip. I'm just happy things worked out well and this was the impression of which I take home from Venice. Thank you, Hotel Corte di Gabriela.

Booked into hotel’s adjacent annex—truly an extraordinary property. Absolutely beautiful 5-star equipped tastefully furnished nearly 700 sq ft apartment with separate rain shower and sauna. Staff, including the owner, were truly welcoming and gracious. Enjoyed amazing cooked-to-order breakfasts in enclosed outdoor garden, along with a delicious selection of pastries. The owner surprised us with a delicious fruit tart sporting a single lit candle at breakfast on my wife’s birthday—we hadn’t breathed a word about it, but I guess her passport offered the clue. Desk clerk provided excellent dining info and booked tables at terrific restaurants within walking distance. Early checkout time to catch our flight was made tolerable by the provided box breakfast. The hotel arranged our departure water taxi and luggage porter. Overall a fantastic experience and worth every penny. Our only hitch involved negotiating the steps between the water taxi stop and the hotel when we arrived. Next time we’ll arrange a porter to meet us.

Wow! Our favorite hotel of our 10 day trip. Fabulous location, beautiful rooms with great amenities and lovely bathrooms and even an in room sauna! The people were all so kind and helpful. And most amazing were the exquisite breakfasts each day. Beautiful and delicious food and coffee. We loved our time there!

We had such a lovely stay. The room was beautiful. The staff great. And, the breakfast was outstanding. Little details along the way added up that made this hotel truly stand out. From the chef greeting us every morning at breakfast. To the in-room amenities. Help with dinner reservations. The garden area is so wonderful and we loved just having a glass of sparkling wine and enjoying the peace. I would absolutely stay here again without reservation with one change - we did book a canal view room, which was not worth it in our opinion. If you looked out the window and literally straight down, you might see it. For the hotel - my only recommendation on the room was adding areas to charge phones, etc on the bedside tables. Nous avons expérimenté avec délices la chaleur de l’accueil vénitien. Quel plaisir de prendre son petit déjeuner (excellent au demeurant) dans le jardin de l’hôtel! JLuca et sa Team ont su rendre notre séjour un peu plus magique. Merci pour la liste des restaurants😉 La journée en bateau traditionnel organisée par l’hôtel a été le point d’orgue de notre semaine. Un endroit hors du temps.

What a beautiful hotel in such a walkable location of Venice. We were only 3 min from the water ferry/taxi drop off, and in the heart of everything but not too busy! The staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast was so special and eating on the terrace was peaceful and the perfect start to the day.

We had a fantastic stay. The welcome and service from all the staff was superb, they could not do enough for us. The room was perfectly clean, a good size, tastefully decorated and with good amenities. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had anywhere in the world. We would be back here in a shot and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Venice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

From entrance we felt very well. The staff were very helpful. The atmosphere was great. Very tasty breakfast was a good start for whole day. Housekeeping kept our room clean and fresh . The hotel is located in quiet area and very close to the main paths in Venice. I highly reccoment this place .

Un hot6muy bonito, el desayuno es espectacular, las habitaciones muy cómodas, limpias y adecuadas. Buen ubicación, sin embargo como no está a la orilla del cabal hay que caminar con maletas unos 5 minutos, si estuviera lloviendo podría ser un inconveniente. En mi caso no me llovió. Me volveria a quedar en este hotel sin duda.

I visited Hotel Corte di Gabriela with my mom and brother during our Italy vacation. We only stayed here one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect from the location to the rooms to the cleanliness to the decor to the staff. All of the staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We love Massimo and the owner who cooked for us like we were guests in his home. This made it super special. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice and we will for sure come back here again.

Absolutely incredible stay at the Hotel Corte di Gabriela in Venice. Our host, Massimo, along with all of the hotel staff were so welcoming, courteous, and kind. The room was very clean and modern, and included all of the necessary amenities as well as many other small additional perks that made our stay even more special, like some delicious welcome cookies made by the chef and owner. The included breakfast exceeded all of our expectations, with an exceptional spread of juices, savory pastries, breads, tarts, jams, and made-to-order omelets. Between the knowledgeable staff, exquisite facilities, delicious breakfast, and central location - you can’t go wrong with a stay at Hotel Corte di Gabriela.

This stay was absolutely fabulous, from the moment we arrived to our departure. It made me appreciate boutique style hotels,(I usually go for the chain hotels) with the touch of pampered elegance, while still being friendly and inviting, even offering umbrellas for the rainy days of Venice (which were many) . A seating room complete with grand piano you could play, Murano glass wall mural & a full dress costume from the Carnival of Venice (more stunning than I thought ). It's compact but the room was quite large & full of amenities, beautiful rain shower, bidet, walk in closet, robes, safe, mini refrig, nice tv, small canal from our window ,tour books & very comfortable bed & a few cookies. But nothing compared to the breakfast which was prepared by the staff and cooked entirely by the owner every morning. I had nutella crepes and my husband had fresh poached eggs with a sliver of fried sardines that added that venetian touch. And I won't tell you about all the pastries the owner made. pear tart, orange muffin, chocolate pear mini cake, cream puff...delicious. I'd go back just for the breakfast. I cannot forget Renato at front desk who helped us throughout with the friendliness of a family member and even with arrangements in the middle of the night to get a water taxi because of a family emergency and we had to cut short our trip. I'm just happy things worked out well and this was the impression of which I take home from Venice. Thank you, Hotel Corte di Gabriela.

Wow! Our favorite hotel of our 10 day trip. Fabulous location, beautiful rooms with great amenities and lovely bathrooms and even an in room sauna! The people were all so kind and helpful. And most amazing were the exquisite breakfasts each day. Beautiful and delicious food and coffee. We loved our time there!

We had such a lovely stay. The room was beautiful. The staff great. And, the breakfast was outstanding. Little details along the way added up that made this hotel truly stand out. From the chef greeting us every morning at breakfast. To the in-room amenities. Help with dinner reservations. The garden area is so wonderful and we loved just having a glass of sparkling wine and enjoying the peace. I would absolutely stay here again without reservation with one change - we did book a canal view room, which was not worth it in our opinion. If you looked out the window and literally straight down, you might see it. For the hotel - my only recommendation on the room was adding areas to charge phones, etc on the bedside tables. Small boutique hotel, which goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable. Owner and staff are very friendly. Note, if you want a canal view, you have to be sure to book the room with that view. It is a very small canal in the back of the hotel. Location is good, Venice is a very walkable city so you can get from the hotel to pretty much anywhere within a 15 to 20 minute walk.

Beautiful and very lavishly appointed room. Hotel located on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from lots of nice restaurants and shops and only about 10-15 minute walk from St. Mark's square. We didn't get to experience the breakfasts on site due to early bookings but they packed us up lovely take away breakfast bags. Would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Venice.

Excellent location in San Marco located between St Marks Square and Rialto bridge. Attention to detail and extreme politeness of every staff member was so pleasant. We had an early flight, and they made the extra effort to open 10 minutes earlier to serve us breakfast. Very much appreciated.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Venice and had a great experience at this boutique hotel. We were checked into our room immediately upon our arrival and the staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is near the vaporetto S. Angelo stop. Everything is very walkable from the hotel. The hotel room size was good for Venice and it was updated and modern. It had everything we needed including a large bed. I would definitely recommend if you like to stay in smaller hotels with great locations where they know their guests. The owner is a chef and provides a wonderful breakfast for the guests every morning. We received made-to-order omelets and they were excellent. Great choice and we would definitely come back again!

Excellent hotel. Great location. Very kind, helpful and thoughtful English speaking staff. I corresponded with them via email from the US even before I headed to Italy and they helped me with transfer options from the airport and making dinner reservations for me. The room was beautiful with so many amenities. But the thing that really stood out was the absolutely AWESOME and AMAZING homemade breakfast spreads they had each morning, included! Their food was outstanding. I asked and was hoping that they also did dinner, but it is just breakfast of various bakery delicacies, fruits, tarts, cheeses, desserts, fresh squeezed juices, coffee ofc, AND on top of that, they will make any type of egg, pancake, waffle, etc. I was stuffed the first day with just the great spread stuff. Truly a gem of a hotel. I would definitely stay again and will encourage my family to do the same.

This hotel was truly unique. Boutique hotel with beautiful decor and so much charm. Michelin breakfast served by the chef/owner Gianluca. We had to leave very early on our departure day and were going to miss breakfast, but they arranged to greet us in the morning with coffee ready and a packed breakfast for us to go. I have never experienced outstanding service like this!

Booked into hotel’s adjacent annex—truly an extraordinary property. Absolutely beautiful 5-star equipped tastefully furnished nearly 700 sq ft apartment with separate rain shower and sauna. Staff, including the owner, were truly welcoming and gracious. Enjoyed amazing cooked-to-order breakfasts in enclosed outdoor garden, along with a delicious selection of pastries. The owner surprised us with a delicious fruit tart sporting a single lit candle at breakfast on my wife’s birthday—we hadn’t breathed a word about it, but I guess her passport offered the clue. Desk clerk provided excellent dining info and booked tables at terrific restaurants within walking distance. Early checkout time to catch our flight was made tolerable by the provided box breakfast. Very nice boutique hotel that is a short walk to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Friendly staff was quite helpful with directions and even packed us a breakfast to go when we had to check out before the restaurant opened.

This is THE gem of Venezia! Would gladly stay here two weeks of the year if I could, but alas parting is upon us! However, when I return there is no other accommodation that will ever be necessary! Corte de Gabriela was attentive to our every need before, during and after our stay’ Sorina, Massimo, Manola and Signor Luca provided incredible service. We were home and felt like family! There is a transport stop near the hotel, with a 7 minute walk (maybe shorter if you are younger and more agile) only one bridge (my mother sister and I did NOT travel light, and yet the walk was pleasant and easy for us). We walked everywhere no need for water taxis - everything was close Plaza San Marcos, the Rialto Bridge , etc etc etc. Location is everything the hotel is near restaurants and shops and destinations- But tucked away for quiet as well. Venezia has been the best and most favorite part of our mother-daughters winter vacation! Grazzie Mille!

What a beautiful hotel in such a walkable location of Venice. We were only 3 min from the water ferry/taxi drop off, and in the heart of everything but not too busy! The staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast was so special and eating on the terrace was peaceful and the perfect start to the day.

Beautiful and very lavishly appointed room. Hotel located on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from lots of nice restaurants and shops and only about 10-15 minute walk from St. Mark's square. We didn't get to experience the breakfasts on site due to early bookings but they packed us up lovely take away breakfast bags. Would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Venice.

The breakfast was consistently excellence and offered a wide variety of options. The chef was very accommodating and the quality was finest we enjoyed on this trip to Europe. The entire staff was professional, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Very kind, helpful and thoughtful English speaking staff. I corresponded with them via email from the US even before I headed to Italy and they helped me with transfer options from the airport and making dinner reservations for me. The room was beautiful with so many amenities. But the thing that really stood out was the absolutely AWESOME and AMAZING homemade breakfast spreads they had each morning, included! Their food was outstanding. I asked and was hoping that they also did dinner, but it is just breakfast of various bakery delicacies, fruits, tarts, cheeses, desserts, fresh squeezed juices, coffee ofc, AND on top of that, they will make any type of egg, pancake, waffle, etc. I was stuffed the first day with just the great spread stuff. Truly a gem of a hotel. I would definitely stay again and will encourage my family to do the same.

We had such a lovely stay. The room was beautiful. The staff great. And, the breakfast was outstanding. Little details along the way added up that made this hotel truly stand out. From the chef greeting us every morning at breakfast. To the in-room amenities. Help with dinner reservations. The garden area is so wonderful and we loved just having a glass of sparkling wine and enjoying the peace. I would absolutely stay here again without reservation with one change - we did book a canal view room, which was not worth it in our opinion. If you looked out the window and literally straight down, you might see it. For the hotel - my only recommendation on the room was adding areas to charge phones, etc on the bedside tables. Location is great and within walking distance to many sites, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, had a wonderful variety and was really an added bonus to the stay. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful hotel in such a walkable location of Venice. We were only 3 min from the water ferry/taxi drop off, and in the heart of everything but not too busy! The staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast was so special and eating on the terrace was peaceful and the perfect start to the day.

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we reluctantly left, the staff treated us as if we were in their homes. The door staff was friendly, helful and always available. The breakfast team were incredibly talented. The food, service and serving ware were all perfection. The room was spacious, quiet, very clean and well appoin ted with lovely amenities, linens, towels and products. We will find a reason to return...if there were more than 5 stars to give we would give them!
