Déjà le GPS qui n’indique pas la bonne entrée, le loueur qui aide de loin (sms) en indiquant que d’autres clients ont trouvé. Parking avec 3 places officielles, les autres voitures contre le mur si elles peuvent. Ensuite la chambre promise petite avec salle de bain extérieure mais vue sur la mer. Les 2 premiers critères étaient vrais mais la vue était sur le …. parking. La salle de bain extérieure était privative mais dans le couloir d’accès aux autres chambres et à la cuisine. La clé s’est cassée dans la serrure, Heureusement que cela s’est produit le matin à l’heure du petit déjeuner car sans téléphone j’étais mal. La chambre est correcte mais petite comme la télé. Les murs ne sont pas épais, première nuit avec un nourrisson qui se réveille à 4h et seconde avec des gens qui parlaient assez fort. Petit déjeuner peu débordant sur le balcon avec belle vue sur la mer. Chambre au second étage sans ascenseur. Pour se rendre à pieds en ville, comptez 10 petites minutes mais au retour ça grimpe et les 126 marches pour rejoindre la chambre pourraient décourager les parents avec des enfants. Bref quelques qualités et aussi quelques défauts

The property had all the amenities we were looking for including a great sea view common balcony to watch sunsets and enjoy a bottle of wine. We were 10 to 15 minute walk to Cefalù beach which was great! Cefalu has lots of character and certainly worth a visit. The free breakfast was very good and the kitchen fridge was stocked with beer, soda and water at very reasonable prices. Mirko was very responsive will all communications. We would definitely recommend Ma&Mi Guest House.

The accomadation is out of town, in a steep location, ok going into town, but a steep walk back. The hallway is shared by other rooms that people are staying at, wasnt aware of that before hand. Shared kitchen. Breakfast was not available for my stay. Quiet for sleeping, the town centre has a lot of traffic. Old town is Picturesque. If you are arriving / leaving by train and have luggage, remember the climb up paths and steps.

Very cosy place for a short stay in Cefalú. Free carpark next to the accommodation which is crucial - it's difficult to park in the city centre and most places are paid. It's only 10 minutes walking distance from the main attractions (and around 20 minutes back - climbing the hill but it's easy). Very friendly hosts, big terrace with view over Cefalú. I would come back. Thank you!

Very unpleased and rude owner. Many rules where you can be charged even it's not your fault. Rooms with outside bathroom are unconfortable. Few room in small shared apartament. Continental breakfast wasn't good at all and based on toasted bread. thin walls, you can hear everything. Access by car only for experienced drivers. The advantages include parking in front of the property and the view from the balcony. I definitely do not recommend this place. The price does not match the quality.

Location was good for price, walk down to the beach is smooth on way up you feel it more as it is up hill and a few stairs. Well lit at night. Breakfast served which was good, staff super friendly however the area for breakfast was right near our room and walls were not sound proofed enough so got woken by the noise. Note no mini fridge in room it is a shared fridge.

La chambre était sale, le matelas était dans un état déplorable, avec des tâches, la salle de bain était moisi et sentait le moisi, à tel point qu’il fallait laisser la porte fermée constamment en mettant une serviette en bas pour bloquer l’odeur nauséabonde qui s’en dégagée. J’ai demandé à Mirkos si il pouvait régler le problème, il a dit que c’était le vent et la chaleur qui causait ces problèmes et qu’il ne pouvait rien faire.

Very clean spacious room, great view from the lovely balcony and a short walk into town.

Das kleine und gemütliche B&B liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit tollem Blick auf Cefalu. Auch beim Frühstück kann man diesen genießen. Ins Zentrum kommt man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß, zurück geht es allerdings bergauf. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Struttura pulita e con aria condizionata molto efficace. La colazione è buona, con dolci fatti in casa, ideale per una notte e una colazione veloce. Molto comodo il parcheggio. La posizione, però, è un po’ distante dal centro storico e non semplicissima da raggiungere a piedi a causa della salita. La camera era semplice, anche se non del tutto conforme alle foto online, e il bagno risultava piuttosto rumoroso. Nel complesso un’esperienza positiva, con alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati.

The lock on my door wouldn’t lock from the inside. The knob would just turn and turn and turn. I texted the person I spoke to when I first arrived and never got a response. I had to sleep with my door unlocked. Breakfast was good. Room and area was very clean.

Magnifique vue depuis la chambre. Nous avons facilement trouvé une place pour se garer. Tout était propre et fonctionnel. Nous reviendrons !

It was nice being just outside of the main streets, making walks into Cefalu easy (hilly), and giving us peace and quiet for sleeping. The walls are a little thin, you can sometimes hear people in the hallway.

Unfortunately, this was my least favourite hotel from the 6 I stayed at all over Sicily. Positives: the balcony and view, the cleaning and breakfast staff were very nice, breakfast was included and it was ok, free parking. Negatives: The location is a very steep 25 min walk each way to the main town/ beach area and taxis were expensive for the short distance.(no fault of the hotel and i understand it wouldn't be close to town because it had parking, however i did not realize how steep of a walk it was and the stones on the stairs were slippery and it was very tiring in the heat) The room looked a bit better in the pictures, the bathroom was very small and the toilet was making very loud noises, the owner/manager (don't recall his name) was not friendly. (He sent me a very rude message when asking a few question and then he quickly realized it and deleted it but I had already heard it)

De kamers waren erg gehorig. De lamp en ventilator deden het niet. Het balkon is niet om te zitten , daarvoor is het te klein. De badkamer. Sanitair moet vervangen worden, de naden bij het bad waren beschimmeld en het bad kon niet gebruikt worden er zat geen stop meer in. Het ontbijt is niet continentaal en zeker niet zoals de foto doen vermoeden uitgebreid. Echt een afrader, omschrijving voldoet geheel niet aan de werkelijkheid.

The listing is super misleading. Says it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach but it’s actually a 20 minute walk down a hill (up hill on the way back). The closet restaurant is a 15 minute walk and there is no transportation (bus taxi etc). Definitely do not recommend if you are not renting a vehicle unless you like walking! We checked in prior to the cleaning staff leaving for the day so had no issues but multiple other guests during our 5 night stay had issues checking in and were not given clear instructions. One guest began ringing the door bell late at night trying to be let in which was super frustrating for us. It’s super noisy with the other guests coming and going so we were constantly woken up throughout the night. Rooms were clean Breakfast was okay for me but my husband loved it. Overall it’s not somewhere I would stay again or recommend to anyone but it was okay and served its purpose for the time we were there.

Check-in instruction and other constraints should be more explicitly given on Hotels.com by the managers.

A hassle to check in, had to wait for the owner to show up. Then there is a system with multiple keys to floor 1 and 2 because the balcony and breakfast is on floor 2. Good to know

The staff was not friendly at all. Check in was extremely difficult, it states that there’s a front desk to check in at, but in fact, there’s no front desk at all. You need to WhatsApp message a number in order to get the codes, and they didn’t respond for a long time. We were stuck sitting outside for 2 hours with our luggage. Additionally, they still falsely advertise the property as a “bed and breakfast” but there’s no breakfast. Lastly, they are not accommodating at ALL if you need a late checkout or need to leave your luggage at the property for a few hours … instead, if you are FIFTEEN (15) minutes late leaving the property in the morning, they charge you an ENTIRE EXTRA NIGHT. Don’t bother staying here.

The worst experience I have had when renting a holiday apartment.The treatment from the host Mirko was appauling and I have never been treated in such a condescending,rude and abrupt manner in all my years of travelling. It all started by him not giving us an access code to enter the property,we thought the keys were enough to open the apartment door but to our surprise there was a security code no one told us about so when we arrived at the apartment at night time we were unable to enter the property,it took us a while to get through the phone for him to answer which caused a bit of anxiety. The apartment is in a very secluded and dark area quite far from town,it takes a good 20-25min to walk up a steep hill and 100 steps which is tough in the heat and at night time there's no lighting so unless you drive I'd stay away from staying in this area. The apartment is basic,with hardly any furniture and the bad very uncomfortable. Very overpriced for what they offer. At breakfast we encountered a very rude staff member too. When we left the property I contacted the owner personally to express my disappointment about our stay and his response was shockingly defensive and abusive.He replied with some horrible personal comments that left me extremely offended by his unpleasant and aggressive attitude. I reported him to Expedia to make sure other guests do not have to deal with such a terrible level of customer service.

Er wordt geschreven dat het 10 minuten lopen is naar jet strand , is wel meer en er wordt niiet verteld dat het verblijf op een berg ligt en dus een behoorlijke klim naar boven. De foto,s van het ontbijt zijn lichtelijk overdreven. Idd het uitzicht is leuk, maar de broodjes, kaas etc hebben wij niet gezien Ook het ontvangst was heel slecht, spraken heel gebrekkig Engels en de vriendelijkheid was ver te zoeken. Ze waren meer met hun telefoon bezig dsn dat zich bekommerden om hun gasten. Nogmaal heel matig verblijf

Good property - price reflects what you get. Stunning view for breakfast but in a location which is a walk into the centre down / up hill.

Very nice b&b, the owner was very polite. Good location only a few minutes walk down to the town and the beach. The breakfast was fantastic with a beautiful view from the balcony. Would recommend!
