Lot 4 Retreat 150 Willson Drive

We booked this property for a two-week stay to visit our family. Travelling from Canada, we relied on the online description of this property, and it was very accurate. We have three grandchildren and this was the perfect location for them to play. Our children even brought bicycles; the kids could ride with Dad in the driveway and even on the roadway (only with an adult) out front. The road is not heavily travelled. The grassy areas and wrap-around deck provided ample space for long conversations while the children played.Evening and morning visits with the Kangaroos were a treat. The home came very well equipped with a good selection of everything you need for cooking and relaxing, including the TV and wifi. There is a good selection of DVDs and even a Wii gaming system in the granny flat. One thing that would be appreciated would be a larger frying pan. The one provided was unsuitable for the property, which advertises up to twelve people. Also, the BOSE sound system did not work. These would be the only improvements we could recommend. On arrival, the property was obviously well cared for and the living quarters were clean. Overall, we highly recommend this property as excellent and would return again. We spent a lot of time at various beaches, all of them very close by. Normanville, Caracalinga, Second Valley, Cape Jarvis, Rapid Bay and it’s just a short drive to Victor Harbour and Port Elliot. All of these places are worth a visit.

What a great hidden gem! Perfect for large groups and kids. Plenty of room, never felt like you were living in each other’s pockets. Amazing ocean views!
