Such a lovely place. Peace and quiet; perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Cabin is equipped with everything needed, bird and wildlife watching from the living room window included. The house and property are so beautiful. It is a slice of heaven and wonderful break from the city. We had 4 elementary school kids and they loved it as well. The house is very nice and the kitchen is very well stocked. I would love to come back.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for for a short family getaway. It was cozy, peaceful and away from it all. The river is full of trout and the yard full of wildlife. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the stand alone screened-in porch was a fun addition for working puzzles and eating dinner without the pesky mosquitoes bothering us. Jeanette was extremely helpful and responsive. It’s a great place to stay!

Our family of 4 enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The home, inside and out, had everything we needed to enjoy fun, quality time together. My husband and I loved our morning coffee while watching all of the birds from the comfort of the recliners. Quiet days of sunshine in the water, turned into starry nights around the bonfire. We took advantage of the large selection of board and card games. The kids enjoyed picking a DVD to watch as a family each night. Chet & Emil's is a must for a good, comforting home cooked meal. Wausau was close enough for a fun family day when the weather wasn't the greatest. I am so blessed and grateful we were able to spend our summer vacation at this beautiful slice of heaven here on earth. Thank you again, Jeanette, for having us at your cabin! My favorite part was waking up early, sitting outside and listening to all the sounds, especially the birds. The wildlife is incredible. So tranquil. We made our dinners on the campfire and ate in the enclosed outdoor space, it was so much fun. We fished, explored the property, kids even floated on rafts. We also went to a nearby ice cream shop. The cabin was immaculate, and don’t worry about forgetting anything, because they have anything you could ever need right there. I’m pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve slept all through the night in years! From the beds, to the home, to the outdoor space, it was very comfortable. This cabin is adorable and so quiet and peaceful. The property was fun to walk around, there were so many birds and animals, and our dog had so much fun he slept for a whole day when we got home. The host is responsive and the communication was great.

The place is very well decorated, the living room has big windows that allows you to see several species of birds, the river, the wild life while you are having your morning coffee in the cozy and warm cabin. The host is amazing and she is always ready to assist you. She recommended to visit Dells of Eau claire Park which is another beautiful place, only 10-20 minutes away. If you like to hike, take time to explore the cliffs and trails along the river. I can’t wait to go back there.

My family loved this little vacation. The kids played outside all day and we were even able to bring our family dog to splash around in the river with us! My family stayed here while skiing over at Granite Peak. We had a great time and this place was perfect. Communication between the property manager and myself was top notch. I loved the creek behind property.

Beautiful retreat into to nature, you'll get to see all kinds of wildlife in a perfect cozy cabin next to a top rate trout stream. We had far and away one of the most relaxing weeks off I've ever experienced, can't wait to go back.

Such a lovely place. Peace and quiet; perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Cabin is equipped with everything needed, bird and wildlife watching from the living room window included. Close by are hiking and skiing opportunities. Communication with Jeanette was easy from the get go. Thanks a lot for letting us enjoy this cozy cabin.

This cottage and the setting are beautiful and so peaceful.The cottage is on a river.The nature and wild life is incredible!Our grandkids came up with us and they had a great time.The cottage itself is very clean.It is very well maintained and decorated.The communication with the owner was great!Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.We hope to stay again soon😊

This cabin is adorable and so quiet and peaceful. The property was fun to walk around, there were so many birds and animals, and our dog had so much fun he slept for a whole day when we got home. The host is responsive and the communication was great.

This is a beautiful property with a romantic and bucolic atmosphere. The place is very well decorated, the living room has big windows that allows you to see several species of birds, the river, the wild life while you are having your morning coffee in the cozy and warm cabin. The host is amazing and she is always ready to assist you. She recommended to visit Dells of Eau claire Park which is another beautiful place, only 10-20 minutes away. If you like to hike, take time to explore the cliffs and trails along the river. I can’t wait to go back there.
