It’s a very well maintained property. Be sure you take food if you’ll be there on Sunday or Monday. Their restaurant is only open from Tuesday to Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 9 p. m. There are numerous charcoal grills on the property. Their dinner menu is small but delicious. 30 miles back to Cody for restaurants. The amenities were nice.

It was a perfect stop before going into Yellowstone Park. The scenery with the mountains and the river flowing was breathtaking. This property was in a beautiful area close to Yellowstone. I had pictured a cheesy cabin but it wasn't cheesy at all. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. The gym was surprisingly modern as well. Really loved the entire property and will be back for sure.

I liked that it was pet friendly, the staff was polite and kind. The grass, flowers were very well kept. I saw them cleaning out the hot tub and it looked pristine after. I loved the dvd selection, board games, books to borrow. There was bean bag, horse shoe, and another one idk the name. I liked the hangers in the room for all the towels, a window in the bathroom. Perfect and at a good price. I liked the pool, playground, please inflate the yellow ball.

The guy at the front desk was super nice and friendly! Gave very clean and helpful instructions. Bar and restaurant had great food - with big portions! Our rooms were cozy and clean. We had a campfire in the evening, and wished we got to use the pool but had no time! Around an hour drive to Yellowstone National Park, and 25 mins to Cody. Totally recommend this place.

What an incredible experience. The quaint valley Inn had everything we needed and was on the border of Yellowstone National Park. The staff was very attentive, and the rooms were exactly what we needed. Nothing extravagant, but clean, friendly staff, and a beautiful setting.

We stayed in a cabin and we were so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the size, decor, wood! We will definitely go back and tell our traveling friends! There was a beautiful river behind the property and there was plenty of sitting areas and fire pits. Awesome place!!!!

Beautiful area and very nice cabins, but no food or stores around. Very poor customer service. Desk closed before 3:40 pm, but at least I got text message how to access room keys. I had to help two intenational couples and call twice to find out for them how to access their cabins keys. After two days, I requested cleaning and trash removal but nothing was done. My trash was overflowing and floor was very dirty because the entrance to the cabin was directly from the outdoor and entry mat didn't help much. Person at the desk informed me that inormation about complimentary coffee and pastries is not correct.

We only stayed one night and got in late. So, not a lot of experience to go on. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Small and I could hear everything outside, but neat and clean. The pillows and bed were pretty uncomfortable. And the communication (email) from the hotel was a little confusing so I had to call a few times, but they were always very kind and courteous. Looked like a great place for an extended stay with all the different accommodations available.

It was super slow when we were there so our kids had the small pool to themselves. Downsides - the restaurant and bar were closed. The front desk closed by 5. The beds left a lot to be desired and you could literally hear everything from inside the room. It was like all of the windows were open. Thankfully, it’s a quiet area, but we heard neighbors cars, doors and someone puking all night 😬.

The great things about this site is its prime location to the East entrance to Yellowstone as well as the 360 and rushing river views. We had dinner at the red which was very convenient and tasty and everyone there is really nice. A few issues though: missing a night table on one side of the bed, no cover on the box spring, the mattress and bedding were really bad and there wasn’t sufficient toilet paper, tissues and toiletries.

Nice enough for an overnight, but not the most convenient possibly due to staffing shortages. The front desk closes at 5pm on weekends; while the lockbox arrangement worked for delivering the key and other information, the ice we needed to ice down my wife's sprained ankle was locked up in the reception area. We also weren't expecting a second floor room (see sprained ankle, above, and there was no way to ask for a ground floor room at that point), nor a mattress that seemed intent on rolling us into the center of the bed. The HVAC remote control was dead; "breakfast" was coffee and plastic-wrapped donuts. But the location was great (overlooking the Shoshone River and convenient for Yellowstone's East Entrance) and, as I said, overall it was OK for an overnight stop. Just set your expectations accordingly.

The bed was horrible!!! It was supposed to be a queen, but it seemed small. The worst part was how my wife and I kept sliding into the middle of the bed. It was like a hammock. And the shower. It wasn\'t a shower, it was a trickle. My wife didn\'t want to condition her hair because she didn\'t think there was enough water pressure to rinse it out. It tried to take a shower after her but gave up because I could hardly get wet. The guy at check in was super nice but the girl and the guy that were there the next morning totally ignored me. Not even a hello. They just kept doing whatever they were doing. After about 3 minutes I just dropped the keys on the counter and left. My back is still a mess from trying to sleep on that "bed".

Before we even arrived they helped us in so many ways, the room we reserved ended up being on a 2nd floor and my husband cannot do stairs, so they ended up moving us into a cabin. This was right when the opened for the season, so a few minor problems with the room but they were very quick to take care of it. The food in the restaurant was very good. They had everything to meet our needs except for a small store but they let us know where we could get what we needed. Would stay here again for sure.

The place was beautiful. The cat was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The e-mail said to call ahead if you were arriving late to get a lockbox number. I did call twice and both times they said they would send a text or email with info. Both times there was no customer service. You can't get service in the park to receive a text or e-mail. Got hung up on once when i was going to ask more questions. We had to cut our trip in the park short to get there before they closed.

The deadbolt lock on the front door was broken. The window coverings did not completely cover the window or the patio door so did not have a lot of privacy. Staff was rude when I checked in. They did help me put air in two of my tires so I could get back on the road. Had to check in by 6:00 pm which was inconvenient.

Expedia said this was a dog-friendly property so I booked a nice king suite with a river view for the last night if our long roadtrip and because it had a restaurant, gift shop and coffee place. The manager informed us that they were not dog-friendly, but that they could put us in a cabin that did not offer a riverview, i stead of the log canin motel. No allowance in price. Non refundable. We went for dinner. Took forever to take our order. My husband ordered the potato skins for our appetizer. They were burnt. He ordered the turf and surf for his dinner. The steak was good and tender. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was a huge plate of spaghetti with a big glop if very heavy, spicy meat sauce. I couldn't eat it. They took it off of our bill. The next morning, I was looking forward to a specialty coffee and a bakery treat. They only had regular coffee and a piece of plain cake…for a fee. It wouldn't have taken much to make our stay more enjoyable. Was very disappointed.
