Lovely stay here at Pandora Hotel. The staff and on-premises restaurant are outstanding. The check-in was quick and friendly, and the waitstaff and cleaning crew were terrific. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and friendly experience. Thank you for making my time here on Guernsey so enjoyable.

This was a good choice. Very central, pretty gardens, great staff. The public areas of the hotel were nicely done but the rooms (well mine at least) could do with a little updating. It was clean and reasonable for the price though. The food was also good and reasonably priced. would stay again.

Superb breakfast beautifully presented with wide choice. Staff professional yet friendly. Lovely grounds. Excellent communal areas inside and out. Great evening dining.

Great location, staff all friendly and efficient. Lovely breakfasts. Hotel is being refurbished in stages, but room was fine and public rooms are lovely. Whilst location is great, might be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there is no lift at the hotel so make sure to book a ground floor room if needed. Highly recommended!

The Pandora Hotel is a short walk, up a hill, from St Peter’s Port. It’s quite a big hotel, with lots of rooms, a nice bar and restaurant area, along with lovely gardens. We had a twin room with a sea view. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed but was quite cosy. The shower, in particular, was small but it was clean. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection, including tea/coffee, juices, cereals, toast, fruits, yoghurts and hot food. Full English breakfasts (and vegetarian options) were available, along with other hot options. We had a hire car and was able to park outside the hotel every day, which was really convenient. Overall, a nice stay, close to St Peter’s Port. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget or just don’t want to spend huge amounts on a room that you aren’t going to be in much.

Great location, although it is uphill from the main road and water front area. My daughter and I shared an ocean view room--we could definitely see the ocean, but it's not close. The staff at the Pandora are so friendly and helpful. We felt immediately at home. Laundry services were reasonably priced and quick turnaround. The breakfast (included with our reservation) was great! The bar and lounge area are comfortable--perfect place to hang out in the evening. Lots of excellent dining options in the area too.

The hotel was clean and the gardens beautiful. The staff were very friendly. It is situated at the top ofa hill and may be difficult for those with walking issues although there is a daily shuttle service available. The hotel is next door but one to Victor Hugo's house on Guernsey

The staff are friendly and helpful. The renovated areas have been finished to a lovely standard. The gardens are beautiful but to get to the sea view, you do have to go down steep steps. In fact there are a lot of stairs in the hotel. The breakfast was great and the food in the hotel bar very good. My room was small but clean and had what was needed. The bathroom was a little too small ( a good job I have lost weight) and avocado green! The downside for me was the guest next door snored loudly and I could hear even with ear plugs. The hotel was full and they could not change my room but this can happen anywhere. Overall, a pleasant stay in Guernsey at a very reasonable price.

We were informed that mid-way through our 7 night stay, the bedding would be changed, however this did not happen. We asked reception for this to be done and was told it would be. It did not however get done. Staff friendly and efficient, but some had limited English which hindered communication at times. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A nice comfortable hotel with a beautiful garden - thanks

Refurbished lounges and bar are very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and cheerful. Breakfast plentiful. Sadly our room had a broom cupboard size en suite with only toilet and cramped shower with a horrid drain odour. Also window looked out onto staff smoking area which when window was open the smoke drifted in. Hotel was full and was not able to change our room.

The Pandora Hotel is fantastic. The room, and especially the bathroom, were immaculate. All the staff were very polite, professional and always helpful and the food served there is top notch. My friend and I will definitely be returning.

A good spot for a 4 day trip to Guernsey, (although a hilly climb to reach it from the centre!) Friendly staff, good choice of food for breakfast. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was ok, nothing special. Drinks were a bit expensive. Overall the hotel was clean, but our room was quite basic and tired looking. The garden was beautiful to sit and relax in.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were big, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, healthy options too! Loved the hotel, quirky but renovated and so convenienr for the harbour. It is on a hill but we didn't mind that.

Short 2 night stay, spacious bedroom and bathroom, a few creaky floors. Lovely freshly cooked hot breakfast plenty of choices. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel organised a breakfast bag for us to collect the night before as we were going out early the next morning. The bar and restaurant had beautifully cooked and very tasty food would highly recommend eating here. The hotel is up a steepish hill when walking back there. There is parking on site for a few cars if you have a vehicle. The only negative was an inconsiderate person in the room next to ours that had a very loud TV on until 01.00am. There are bus routes available within a 5-10 min walk for access to all areas on the island and airport.

The breakfast was wonderful, the room clean, the location up a hill but walkable and convenient. The only negative was my twin bed. It was caved in in the middle, so I selt on a pillow to have a semi flat surface to not wake up with a bad back.

Need to climb 150 ft up (15 floors) to get there from town. Then no elevator so another 2-3 flights. Low water pressure which is to be expected at that height. No AC but adequate breeze.

In unserem Badezimmer war kein Wasserdruck und die Temperatur des Wasser ließ sich nicht regulieren. Duschenwar unmöglich. Erst am Dienstag (Ankunft am Samstag) konnten wir in ein adäquates Zimmer umziehen. Die Freundlichkeit des Nachtportiers ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das restliche Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restsurant war sehr lecker.

Lovely stay here at Pandora Hotel. The staff and on-premises restaurant are outstanding. The check-in was quick and friendly, and the waitstaff and cleaning crew were terrific. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and friendly experience. Thank you for making my time here on Guernsey so enjoyable.

The Pandora Hotel is fantastic. The room, and especially the bathroom, were immaculate. All the staff were very polite, professional and always helpful and the food served there is top notch. My friend and I will definitely be returning.

one morning I didn't get my cooked breakfast, I commented on it (to a waiter) when 2 tables got theirs having ordered after me and I was told the chef is doing yours but still nothing after 5 mins - I had to leave then to catch the bus. No point in asking the next day as but even earlier, but was fine the other days, thank you. Took 5 days to realise I didn't like ginger biscuits and swop them for something else which I did have thank you. Plenty of milk left in the room, thanks, as I like milky coffee.

5 ⭐️ staff and service. The hotel overall is lovely, it is dated in some places but very clean and well presented and maintained. I pointed out to Will and Trond on reception a couple of issues with my room (as constructive criticism, not a complaint) that my bijou single room has the smallest shower unit and toilet space I have ever seen on my travels, it is not suitable for a large person; and a small fridge in the room would be nice to keep drinks cold. The staff are amazing, nothing was any trouble or inconvenience to them, they helped make my stay very enjoyable. I had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely housemaids (apologies ladies, I didn’t get your names), Phil, Fabio, Dev, Damon, Shaffi and Marcio; you all do a grand job 👍 😊 The veggie/vegan menu is limited, Marcio very kindly arranged with the chef for me to have avocado every morning for breakfast, thank you Marcio and chef, this was very much appreciated (and delicious). I also visited The Marton guest house further up the road, it is the sister hotel to The Pandora, I met newly appointed manager Josmely, a lovely young lady; good luck Josmely in your new adventure at The Marton. I would totally recommend The Pandora, I hope to revisit again when Harolds Bar is up and running.

Location ok uphill from harbour but can find various routes and steps to make it easier. All staff friendly and helpful but was surprised reception could not help with access to internet to book a flight to Jersey when our ferry was cancelled. Lovely gardens. The breakfast was the best I have ever experienced. Buffet for cereals, yoghurt and fruit salad which was fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked meals served at the table. Would stay there again if visiting Guernsey.

The staff are amazing. They will do anything to make your stay good. The food is good and the dining room very pleasant. The gardens are amazing. Would stay there again, just because of the staff. The hill to the port is a little daunting. Ok to walk down. A bit harder to get up 😳 we caught the 95 bus to the top of the hill and walked down. There are always the taxis I felt a lot fitter when I came home from all the walking. I will have to keep it up 😂

In unserem Badezimmer war kein Wasserdruck und die Temperatur des Wasser ließ sich nicht regulieren. Duschenwar unmöglich. Erst am Dienstag (Ankunft am Samstag) konnten wir in ein adäquates Zimmer umziehen. Die Freundlichkeit des Nachtportiers ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das restliche Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restsurant war sehr lecker.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were big, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, healthy options too! Loved the hotel, quirky but renovated and so convenienr for the harbour. It is on a hill but we didn't mind that.

Nicely renovated hotel, very friendly staff, food and service is of high quality. In addition there’s a beautiful garden overlooking the sea. I can highly recommend to book a stay at the Pandora Hotel.

la situation de l’hôtel est idéal pour visiter la ville et aller gambader dans la campagne proche ou les chemins de randonnée proches en louant une voiture , le parking de l’hôtel vous accueille t c'est très pratique pour ceux qui reste au moins trois jours , la location d'un véhicule est nécessaire pour être libre de parcourir tous les petits chemins du centre de de la longue côte magnifique ; rouler à gauche n'est pas un problème , il suffit de rouler doucement, les guernesiais sont très sympa et vous laissent passer voilà , très bon séjour à l'hotel pandora , n'hésitez pas et n'oubliez pas hauteville house , c'est incontournable et, en plus ,à quelques mètres de l'hotel

Great location, staff all friendly and efficient. Lovely breakfasts. Hotel is being refurbished in stages, but room was fine and public rooms are lovely. Whilst location is great, might be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there is no lift at the hotel so make sure to book a ground floor room if needed. Highly recommended!

The Pandora Hotel is a short walk, up a hill, from St Peter’s Port. It’s quite a big hotel, with lots of rooms, a nice bar and restaurant area, along with lovely gardens. We had a twin room with a sea view. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed but was quite cosy. The shower, in particular, was small but it was clean. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection, including tea/coffee, juices, cereals, toast, fruits, yoghurts and hot food. Full English breakfasts (and vegetarian options) were available, along with other hot options. We had a hire car and was able to park outside the hotel every day, which was really convenient. Overall, a nice stay, close to St Peter’s Port. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget or just don’t want to spend huge amounts on a room that you aren’t going to be in much.

Great location, although it is uphill from the main road and water front area. My daughter and I shared an ocean view room--we could definitely see the ocean, but it's not close. The staff at the Pandora are so friendly and helpful. We felt immediately at home. Laundry services were reasonably priced and quick turnaround. The breakfast (included with our reservation) was great! The bar and lounge area are comfortable--perfect place to hang out in the evening. Lots of excellent dining options in the area too.

The hotel was clean and the gardens beautiful. The staff were very friendly. It is situated at the top ofa hill and may be difficult for those with walking issues although there is a daily shuttle service available. The hotel is next door but one to Victor Hugo's house on Guernsey

We really enjoyed staying at the Pandora Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a great view out over the sea. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we loved sitting outside on the terrace at breakfast time where we could look out over the lovely garden. We had one evening meal at the hotel, which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

Very happy with the overall experience , staff helpful and hotel exactly as expected , clean , tidy and comfortable . Room was slightly smaller Thani ages on website suggest , but not an issue at all. My only gripe was I paid for full breakfast , which was very good and lots to choose from , but we had to leave early on our last morning , before breakfast started , so I enquired about opting out but was told I’d get a breakfast bag in place of our full English etc … which sounded great . What we received looked like a junior school free lunch ! Small carton of juice , an apple , muffin and small wheat bar !! Not really comparable to a full English , fruit salad , toast etc etc we had paid for !! So .. all I’d say is , great hotel , but don’t opt for the breakfast bag as an option if you need to leave early !

A good spot for a 4 day trip to Guernsey, (although a hilly climb to reach it from the centre!) Friendly staff, good choice of food for breakfast. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was ok, nothing special. Drinks were a bit expensive. Overall the hotel was clean, but our room was quite basic and tired looking. The garden was beautiful to sit and relax in.

Gute Lage, um in die Stadt zu kommen, wenn man bereit ist, immer den Berg hinauf zu gehen. Toller Garten mit vielen lauschigen Ecken. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, der Roomservice war immer top. Auch die Auswahl der Bar ist sehr gut, ebenso die Möglichkeit, Kaffee/Tee auf dem Zimmer zuzubereiten und der Wasserspender neben der Reception. Einzig negativ: den Filterkaffee beim Frühstück fand ich schrecklich sowie die Größe der Dusche- letzteres ist wohl auch dem Alter des Hotels zuzuschreiben, ebenso dass das Waschbecken im Zimmer ist

Staff were superb. Breakfast really good with a nice selection of options all cooked perfectly. We had dinner one night and probably the best meal we had. Hotel in process of being done up and you can see the improvements. Closing December -feb for more work so looking forwarded to seeing re camped hotel. Walk up from town for us was very manageable but some may find it challenging. Highly recommend and look forward to updated hotel next year

My room was comfortable and spacious. I was on the third floor, with access only by the stairs, so I wouldn’t recommend for someone less able. The restaurant was exceptionally good, and I enjoyed a fantastic evening meal, as well as a really good breakfast.

Small room, minute ensuite - banging elbows on the walls in the shower while the curtain was stuck to your back. Wife and I stayed 5 nights, we were each physically sick once. Based on our experience if something tastes slightly off or odd LEAVE IT! We chose this hotel mainly for its parking - when we arrived it was fully scaffolded and most of the parking was inaccessible - this restricted what we could do with the car as if we lost our space other parking was very limited. The main reason for the visit to Guernsey was the opportunity to day trip Herm and Sark which we were unable to do due to the previously mentioned illness. As the Pandora was 40% more expensive than our hotel on Jersey (which was way better) with hindsight we would have just gone to Jersey.

As the Pandora was 40% more expensive than our hotel on Jersey (which was way better) with hindsight we would have just gone to Jersey.

We had a pleasant stay at the Pandora Hotel, and the staff were excellent — very friendly, helpful and always willing to assist, which made a real difference. That said, I felt the hotel itself was looking a little tired for the price being charged. We booked an executive room, but unfortunately there was very little that felt “executive” about it. For the price, I would have expected the room and overall hotel to be a little more modern and plush. One other point worth mentioning is that there is no air conditioning, so it’s probably worth bearing this in mind if you’re visiting during warmer weather. Fortunately, it wasn’t particularly hot during our stay. Overall, the staff were a real highlight, but I think the hotel could benefit from some updating to better match the prices and the expectations of an executive room.
