It was a good hotel but we felt like we were an annoyance due to the event going on at the hotel. Couldn’t sit in the lobby peacefully and being asked by the water to go to your room is not something you expect at such a place.

We really enjoyed the exceptional service, cleanliness, and peacefulness of the property. Diya restaurant was excellent. Citrus was very good as well but did not offer a la carte so was a drawback for us.

Staff are the best asset of this hotel. Excellent customer service. Nice spacious rooms. Away from the city so you need a cab to go around. More care is needed in clearing. Food was okay standard. Indian food should be tasty and spicy not bland. For 5 star hotel it needs more attention to detail in all areas of hotel. Guest room cleaning needs some attention. It’s not dirty but it’s dusty. Chipped furniture in reception area.

We had a poor experience with our room and strange smell in corridor which still was the case when we were moved to another floor. I am not sure I would stay here again and will be complaining to the Leela corporate office

Leela properties have never disappointed. Beautiful rooms and amenities. Comfortable beds and the most amazing rain shower. The breakfast buffet was amazing probably one of the best I have ever been too. Lots of options for all types of restrictions. Highly recommend staying here if you need a break of the hustle and bustle

Amazing stay at The Leela Gandhinagar. This was my second visit in one month and the team made everything effortless. Special thanks to Nikita Kashyap at reception so positive professional and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when they did not take my credit card for extras and simply said I could pay at checkout. That truly shows trust and class. Huge appreciation for Neelam Thakur from room service outstanding service and the best tea I’ve had in Gujarat. She personally made it for me. The food was excellent, and they also gave me a late checkout till 4 PM. Highly recommended. I’m coming back again this week. Nikita and Neelam truly deserve recognition.

Although I was eligible for free room upgrade, the property denied mentioning they are full (didn’t seem they were full looking at the number of guests in the property). We arrived at the property around 2:40pm local time (check-in time was 2:00pm), still we were asked to wait in the lounge area as the reception person was busy with something. While seated, we weren’t offered any water/welcome drink so we had to ask the staff about this. Didn’t feel like I booked a luxury property. Disappointed!
