I found the Aegli perfect for my needs, clean, comfortable and friendly. Even though my first stay last year was only for 3 days they remembered me and gave me a warm welcome. The hotel overlooks Pontikonisi (Mouse Island) with amazing sunrises from beyond the Albanian mountains. There is aircraft noise as it is on the direct flight path for the airport a plus for me as I love watching planes take of land from my balcony. With the balcony doors closed the soundproofing takes care of the noise. A great place to stay.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the staff seemed strange and unprofessional. The breakfast was awful: there was absolutely no hygiene at the buffet, which was already very minimal and of very poor quality. The juices were clearly not fresh and tasted like cheap powdered mixes diluted with water. The sugar container was dirty, and even the cups and cutlery were not properly cleaned. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel at all. It is far from being worth the price given the poor level of service. The room service was not done, and the door of my room looked like a prefabricated panel — really shameful.

Old property that needs a lot of renovation. The bathroom was good unfortunately just the bedroom needs a lot of work. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was possibly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Food is kept out without covers, poor hygiene and food is all cold. No toaster option to at least make it edible. They have plenty of space to make it better and for the price you expect something better. I recommend either stopping it altogether or make vast improvements
