This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside seating areas. Some people might balk at the age and size of the property, but if you want the Ritz, pay for the Ritz. I will definitely stay here again my next time in town.

Our new favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock, NC. We have been coming to Blowing Rock for years and always discussed staying at Alpine. We finally did and are very glad we did. Great room and staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

This was an overall wonderful hotel in Blowing Rock. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants, yet very quiet and tranquil. The owners did a GREAT job remodeling this hotel as well. Modern bathrooms, tasteful furnishings & decor, comfortable beds, and a huge wall mounted TV. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!!
