Arizona 9 Motor Hotel

Perfect for our 2 night stay. Internet ok at night time but no connection in the mornings!! Comfy bed and good size room

There was no internet to watch tv, the toilet broke and then they don’t have cold water. I have 2 autistic kids and the lady at the office said bring them outside and she will watch them, lady I don’t know you. They refused to give my money back. Waited over 2 hours for them to get internet and still nothing, no internet no TV.

It’s a good, basic motel for the price. Came with a fridge and microwave but no hairdryer. Also had a couch in the room. I would stay there again.

Lock to my room is not working properly. The screw is coming off from the lock. WiFi doesn’t work on my laptop

The air conditioning wasn't very good

We were visiting the Grand Canyon so this was a good location and the price was very reasonable. Beds were very comfortable. Directly across the street is a great coffee shop. I would suggest better lighting in the room and perhaps a deadbolt to make people feel more secure. We had no issues with security.

It’s on Rte. 66 in Williams, AZ, a lovely vintage western town. Hotel is a vintage motor lodge. Biggest complaint is no hot water in the shower. It seems like you can’t turn the knob to full hot. Also, with modern day need to charge electronics, outlets are scarce or hidden. WIFI substandard. However, vintage town, vintage hotel. We loved Williams.

Great spot to easily walk to shops and restaurants. Heater pretty loud and the door needs some weatherstripping. Battle between heat and cold! No biggie though and will stay here again.

Overall cleanliness was poor. Dirty towels, stained sheets and dirty floors. There was an earring on the night stand from the previous occupant. Entry door had huge gaps and cold air poured in so heater ran continuously. Walls are poorly insulated and you can hear everything in the nearby rooms, and outside. Front desk lady was nice, and apologized when I spoke to her about these problems. We checked out a day early because of these problems and I was not given a refund for the last day of our stay when asked. There are plenty of places to stay in Williams, this one is cheaper, now I see why. Do not recommend.

Cleanest hotel room in years staff very, very friendly and helpful and the place was just nice and quiet easy walk to shopping

The area was the highlight! You get here route 66 vibes! It was a got spot to drive to Grand Canyon. The place & staff were very welcoming helpful and kind! The only down point, there was few hair here and there so the cleaning need to be improved.

Nicely restored retro motel in the center of town. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The bathroom had been cleaned, but not well.

The sheets and towels weren’t very clean.

Check in was smooth & straight forward. Assigned Room 3 & maybe that was all that was left but this room was really bad. My hotel / motel standards are not very high but I expect a clean & safe place to lay my head. The reviews were really good on this place but I was surprised based on our experience. Right away I realized there was blood smeared down the side of the mattress box so I proceeded to use the restroom where I saw blood drops on the toilet lid & unidentifiable substances all over the toilet paper roll that was “ready for use”. Towels hung up had an odd smell as well as several “pubic region hairs” on them. The toilet was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival, it was so crusty around the lid & was very noticeable. We tried to hang in there, couldn’t even do that so we went to go to the office but nobody was there. We went to dinner to find alternative lodging last minute and came back to speak to staff. At 8pm the front office was locked up & the mgr that checked us in, leaped out of his truck parked in front of our room & said “no vacancy!” We told him we wanted to check out early & request a refund for the 2nd night if possible. Dude was so high, he just took our key & said “call corporate and ask them”. No receipt, no check out paper, nothing. Called and spoke to an owner Antonio, he said to call Expedia so now I’m dealing with that. Stay with caution, even for a low nightly price, it wasn’t worth the $60 per night. Or maybe this room is just neglected.

Old motel redone beautiful... so clean and the bed was phenomenal.. Would stay again!!

Great location on Old Route 66. Walkable dining and shopping. The room is pretty bare bones, but it was very clean and in excellent condition. Just an hour drive to the Grand Canyon.

A place to get some rest- just like back in the 1950's! bottom of the outside door had huge gap, I put some towels down to keep critters out! small bathroom.

The two people that run are excellent, always go above and beyond anytime we come into town. It’s nice when people remember who you are and your needs.

Was excited about staying at historic motel. We booked room 6 and I got directions wrong and unlocked basement door, fell a few steps in because I wasn’t paying attention. Thought I was having a bad dream in the night, but turns out people staying in room 7 came in late all juiced up and broke into my room. Now I will say it’s probably because hotel staff didn’t know much about how to affix door jam hardware seeing how it was held on by some 1/2 screws, and had been broke so many times there wasn’t any wood left in the door jam for screws to hang onto. Spoke with attendant that morning when I realized it wasn’t a dream and someone had actually pushed my door in, he told me he didn’t have time to fix the door jam, I told him we showed up 3 hours after check in time, was absolutely no excuse, and funny how he didn’t mention that to me when we checked in and paid for two nights. Requested refund and he totally began to flip out on me, I advised of Arizona’s hotel liability statute where the property has a duty to ensure guest safety and how easy it would be to prove negligence in this instance. Continued to holler and scream at me and when another lady suggested to refund for my second night, because obviously was not going to have my family stay here another night, he cussed her out and told her to stay out of it, I mean what kind of man talks to a woman like that? I will say after speaking to owner, he did refund my second night, thanks.

Husband and wife running the property was very friendly gave us great suggestions on where to eat. Super friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we were a group of 5 guys staying in adjoining rooms. Only thing not good was check in. We arrived before the noted close time at reception (10 pm); but door was closed, and they did not answer our first four calls to get our room. It was late and we were tired. Appearantly we should’ve received a key code by SMS, but we had not received it (probably because of international phone number). Luckily they answered the phone on the 5th try. Only 3 towels for 5 guys. Other than that great place

The front desk couple were VERY friendly and nice to us, good conversation and cute doggie. We were at a fund raiser next door so that was convenient for us. No coffee anywhere on site was no fun. No mention of extra towels in room by bed? ? ? didn't see until too late.

Just a quick overnight stay during a cross country move. Room was great, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were all exceptionally pleasant. Coffee shop/cafe right across the street with great coffee and pastries. Restaurants within just a block or two.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and love Williams. The hotel owners were very friendly and accommodating. The water pressure was fantastic, but the drain could not keep up and we had to call maintenance at 10 o’clock at night. They came to our room quickly and fixed the problem and we were pleased. The motel has been renovated and is really nice. The location was wonderful with the coffee shop across the street. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful little Motel that retains exterior charm with updated basic rooms. You can tell the owners care about their business and want guests to have a safe, clean and efficient stay. So easy to walk to all the food and services nearby; café across, several top-rated restaurants and even a few bar/lounges. Would love to see more spots like this.
