Absolutely disappointed with the services at Dunlop Motel. The rooms were stinking and as soon as we flushed the toilet it smelled like sewerage. Ruined our New year night. The owner did not give us any refund. The entire family was sitting at the reception desk and staring at us while we were discussing. It was so unprofessional.

The place has been cleaned well however the smell of mold is overpowering to the point I don’t know if I can’t tolerate it for even 1 night. My allergy to mold is causing me significant breathing issues here.

Quaint place. Not far from Port Albert and Goderich. Comfortable bed, good internet and clean. AC unit was a little loud but not overly so. Would stay here again in the future.

We love staying here. It is the best place in Goderich to stay. We have stayed at a lot of other places and they do not compare. The room is spacious, a kitchenette area, couch for sitting on,upgraded bathroom, extra chairs. The owners have gone above and beyond to make you comfortable. I am a little reluctant to give them such a raving review, because I really don't want them to get too busy, that they increase their prices and can't accommodate us in the future.

Long review. My late grandfather started bringing us here when I was a child (now 50) its been a tradition that whenever any of our family pass through Goderich we stay at the Dunlop. Was just in town for a funeral and cancelled my reservation at the Comfort Inn and decided to keep the tradition alive and stay at the Dunlop. The owner is great. The outside has been maintained well but the rooms are getting pretty rough. Duct tape on there floor covering gaps in the laminate, ceiling paint peeling, ect...but the bedding was clean. Its now a little expensive for the condition of the rooms. But still, It will remain my go to in Goderich. Tradition is tradition.

We came to tour some area breweries and stayed at this motel just outside of Goderich. The location is excellent. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed. There were chairs outside our room for enjoying the beautiful summer weather and a covered picnic area for use as well. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

We love staying here. It is the best place in Goderich to stay. We have stayed at a lot of other places and they do not compare. Talked to owner yesterday because I had booked the wrong day as we are heading to Goderich today but he refused to change the date and I was charged full price even though we did not use the room.
