Pleasing room decor. Easy parking. FYI...the office closes at 9pm. They were nice enough to call and remind me when it was getting close. They graciously waited the few extra minutes because I got delayed.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after visiting a friend on Lake Ontario. It was easy to find as it’s located on Rt. 54-close to lots of great wineries( WEIS our favorite) and the quaint village of Hammondsport. The location would be suitable for pickup by a wine tour driver. The owner was always around and quite engaging and helpful. We stayed in a suite on the second floor. It was quite roomy and clean. There was ample outdoor seating where we met a group of folks who stay there every year to attend the races at Watkins Glen. We will definitely stay there again.

What a comfortable and friendly place to stay! With helpful and courteous hosts. I had requested a first floor room, which they made a note of, but inadvertently gave away to someone who arrived earlier. So they put us in the suite! While the decor is out of fashion, it was spotless. And it was so pleasant to have breakfast outside with a view of the hills. And to sit outside our room into the evening. In fact, one night, we moved the chairs to the courtyard formed by the two wings, which was just as nice and away from the road. (Although looking onto the road is hardly a problem.) Location is also very convenient. Maybe 5-10 minutes into Hammondsport and perhaps 15 to I-86.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful on things to experience while we were there. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with a nice set up. Unfortunately the outside was overgrown which might detour guests but they had a nice outside seating with fire pits to relax by. We had a great time.

Our stay at Vinehurst Inn and Suites was excellent! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and easy parking. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice owners who take pride in their Establishment. Large comfortable clean rooms, Modern baths and super comfortable beds. Outdoor meeting area on the veranda With fire Pits, many Comfortable chairs. Highly recommend this establishment, if you're in the area of hammondsport/bath my.

We had an upstairs, basic room in front of the building. The facility was slightly dated but adequate. Everything is clean and in good repair. Fresh coat of paint on nearly everything. The property is clearly being cared for and invested in. Room was CLEAN, which is most important to me. Nice high ceilings, wine-based decor. Adequate plugs. Some odd / quirky things, but that's what you expect from an independently owned place. Ceiling fan worked, AC was good, beds were comfy, lots of pillows. The manager Nita was absolutely charming and made the stay a delight. Continental breakfast was provided, and was adequate - protein, carbs, COFFEE. Everyone there seemed satisfied. Keula Lake is right down the road. I wasn't sure of the scale when I was checking the place out, but it's quite close - just a few minutes down the way. Oh there's smoking trays and seating outside of your room - and a seating area out in front with what I imagine to be some fire pits, although I didn't see them in use at the time. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. In the future I might try to book earlier in the season to get a better price, or maybe call them directly - but things cost what they cost. Clean, cute place. Would recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying here for one night on our USA road trip. Admittedly, I accidentally missed the check-in time by a couple of hours and one of the owners stayed up to wait for us. I felt incredibly bad for not being reachable by phone (my phone was on airplane mode), as they had left a message to verify we were still on our way. Around 10pm or so, we arrived, tired and apologetic. The man was SO friendly and accommodating, making sure we found our room alright. Upon entering I was delighted to see there were old stained glass windows by the door. The next morning I was thrilled to see them with beautiful light pouring through— old charm I absolutely adore. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a door that opened up to balcony access complete with table and chairs. I would recommend staying there to anyone. A warm and inviting stay.

The room was tastefully and rustically designed. The furniture, tub and shower were nice, plenty of hot water. There were plenty of small amenities in the suit and even a little library downstairs with the ice and vending machines. It was a little dusty in spots, the wifi was weak, but serviceable. I was in the furthest room on the grounds. The bed was a little worn but the blankets were soft, comfortable and warm. The thing that stands out is the owners. I accidentally booked the wrong day and showed up early. They were super accomadating, even asking if I wanted breakfast in the morning even though we were the only people there. They took a card on file and refunded the hold before I even checked out. Parking was easy, free and plentiful.

The Vinehurst Inn and Suites is a motel along the road leading into Hammondsport. The room was extremely clean and the check-in was very efficient. The beds were really comfortable. The ceilings are high and the air conditioner was doing extra duty trying to keep the room cool. The bathroom is small and there is no shelf to put toiletries. The continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would stay here again.

We checked and left immediately because of odor and dirty bed. Owner refused cancellation citing three day cancellation policy. I have yet to see said policy. Sad. I was refused refund and billed for room we did not stay in. Lesson: check room condition BEFORE paying; expensive lesson for me .

Although the owner was very, very nice, the property is dated and in need of upkeep and refurbishing. Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned in some time.

most of the stay was great, room was just very dusty with a musty smell. plumbing smells very strange, drains and the water itself. it was doable for a short weekend trip.

Very charming rooms. Keep in mind that the next four units which included ours will be renovated during this winters off season. I did discuss my concerns with the owner. Upon entering our room we were hit with a musty damp smell. We left the door open to get some dry air in the room. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom thus the cause of the dampness. I felt like my sheets were wet again due to the dampness in the room. The owner appreciated my comments and will be addressing them. Carpet to be removed and exhaust fans will be part of the renovation. We were not to thrilled about the breakfast options. Yogurt and cereals. No fruit and only regular coffee, no decaf. One nice thing was there was regular dish ware to use. No styrofoam or paper plates. Kuddos on that.

Booked the stay well in advance, however we were placed in one of, if not the smallest room on site on the 2nd floor with absolutely no view. At least that made the room quiet. However, firend of our who booked at about the same time were inexplicably given a much larger room on the 1st floor. A positive was the cleanliness of the room and convenience to the wineries at both Keuka and Seneca Lakes. Negative is that they offered probably the most sparse and least appetizing breakfast offerings. Open cereal boxes and a communal jar of peanut butter. Price was reasonable for the area, but make sure you try and book a 1st floor room as they are recently done over and much more psacious than teh 2nd floor.

Great little inn, loved the suite with the hot tub. Staff was super friendly and helpful, would absolutely stay again.

This is a lovely hotel exactly as advertised. The suites (3) are fun with the jacuzzi tubs and the size of the rooms are great. It was our second time visiting. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and as helpful as can be. The breakfasts have a large variety of breads and cereals, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, yogurt and juices.

First, if you enter the address into the GPS, you will not find this place. Thank goodness I was able to use Expedia directions to find Vinehurst. The room was ok. We reserved a suite with a jetted tub. Bedroom had a TV but the sitting area/jetted tub did not. Jetted tub, unfortunately, was on a timer which only lasted 15 mins. You had to get out to reset this timer which I was not a fan of that. Kinda killed the moment and relaxation purpose of it all. Unexpectedly, the wifi was horrible in this room. There was work I needed to finish via wifi, but was unable to complete it all. I had to drive 15 mins to a McDonald's to use their wifi. Huge inconvenience! I did express my dissatisfaction with the wifi but the only solution was to sit in the dining area next to the office/check-in. I didn't feel comfortable with that and I should have wifi in my room. Another inconvenience was the fact the windows had sheer curtains with extra long drapes. With it being our first time at Vinhurst and the air conditioning unit right below the window, we had to have the drapes open so the AC would work and not be blocked but the sun shined right in bright and early Saturday morning so sleeping in wasn't an option for us. We were both up by 630am Saturday morning. Super bummer to where we were exhausted by late Saturday morning because of the late check in on Friday since we both had to work. Breakfast was ok and below average for a continental breakfast.

The receptionist is very friendly and the rooms very clean. The breakfast is better than one would expect at this price point. There is fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, yogurt, eggs. I am a very light sleeper. If you are not, this place would be great.

Hostess is so sweet and the room was spotless. Suite had fireplace and jet tub. Very relaxing!

The room was very old and all you could hear was people walking around the floors were so loud I couldn’t sleep . Anytime anyone would leave you would hear them. When I call the front desk lady was very rude.

There was a problem with their system accepting my credit card, and the manager worked with me for about thirty minutes to get it fixed. I appreciated their help!

Proprietors very friendly and helpful

Our GPS took us in the wrong direction, we callled and the owner gave us directions then waited a bit after hours for us to get there to check in. He was very kind and helpful in a very stressful situation.We really appreciated it!

This was a charming overnight stop. The owners offered us a warm welcome and were helpful throughout our stay. It’s a great location within walking distance of beautiful trials and a short hop from Keuka Lake. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

The Vinehurst has been a stable location in our extended family for decades, but we had never stayed there until last weekend. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and we really appreciated eco-friendly touches like large, refillable toiletries and an option to use real dishes instead of wasteful plastic and paper at breakfast. Our bed, unfortunately, was very hard and quiet high off the ground, which made for a bit of a difficult sleep. But overall it was a very good value and a very pleasant stay.

Great place to stay, just outside of Hammondsport. Our room was very nice, clean and everything we needed was included. The breakfast was a real bonus to start your day. We met a group, from Sweden and a couple from PA while we ate our breakfast. We will be back !

Great motel, clean, comfortable room, reasonable rates, convenient to everything in the area - lakes, museums, wineries. Pretty quiet for being on a fairly busy road. Nice people own/run the place.

We especially enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning, with coffee and a number of other breakfast drinks, toast, bagels, muffins (etc), hardboiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, plenty of condiments, and fruits and yogurts. The inn is on the main route between Hammondsport and Bath (NY southerntier) and there is a lot of traffic. The building sits back a good way away from the road, but I recommend bringing a white noise maker to help cover the sound of vehicles going by, especially when they are more intermittent late. We had one, and it really helped cover that sound. Overall, we had a comfortable stay!

Vinehurst Inn is a nice rustic inn with the feel of an old school motel. It is convenient to downtown Hammondsport. Our room was comfortable and basic with the amenities that you would expect. It served our needs well. The continental breakfast was a nice perk. We would stay again.

Great location to Keuka wineries and Hammondsport! Clean and quiet.

It's close to Hammondsport ( but actually in Bath). Do not follow the Google directions ( they'll put you in the wrong location). If you get lost, call the hotel directly and ask them where they are. It's across from the boat sale place. Staff is nice, attentive, but I wish they'd fix the water, it came out kind of rusty. Other than that, hotel was good and free breakfast was good.

The scenic views in the area were gorgeous. The breakfast was limited to cereal and fruit.

The family /couple managing this motel have doe a very nice job modifying and decorating it (Check out the red refrigerator in Room 8!) They were especially accomodating in terms of the continental breakfast and other needs/questions we had about the area, restaurants, etc.
