Historic Hotel du Pillon offers panoramic views of the Diablerets Glacier and the Alps. Located on a south-facing slope, it features a large art collection and offers free WiFi, free private parking, and a big sunbathing terrace. Historic Hotel du Pillon is a 12-minute walk or 2-minute drive away from the village of Les Diablerets. Thanks to its location above the village, it enjoys 1 more hour of sunlight both in the morning and in the evening. The rooms all feature a balcony overlooking the mountains. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine, Vaudois specialties, and vegetarian dishes. The breakfast buffet is available until 11:00. Historic Hotel du Pillon is located above Les Bovets Station, the last stop of the mountain train before its terminus in Les Diablerets. From June to October, guests of Historic Hotel du Pillon receive a Free Access Card for selected activities.

We stayed here mainly to go skiing in Les Diablerets which is about 5 minutes away by car. Skiing at this time of the year is excellent. There were no queues for the lifts and the slopes were quiet apart from mainly Swiss skiers taking advantage of the quiet slopes, all of whom were expert skiers which helped spur us on to try to emulate them. The hotel hosts/team were also extremely friendly and very attentive, so all-in-all it was a very enjoyable stay.

Accueil convivial et très sympa du propriétaire. Une véritable atmosphère dans cet établissement. Et le bonheur de dîner et de prendre son petit déjeuner sur une magnifique terrasse avec vue exceptionnelle. Sans oublier les hirondelles!
