Excellent location. Great continental breakfast, Laundromat, sports bar. Arrived at 4:00 am. Concierge was there to let us in. Only downer is the sports bar is open until the wee hours of the morning. ( 2:00 to 3:00 am). Our room was over the bar. Made it very difficult to sleep at times.

Rooftop was nice with Acropolis view. Breakfast was good. Laundromat nearby. Receptionist very nice. The only negative feedback is that our room was located above a sports bar and there was hooting and hollering well past midnight. Not a great option for light sleepers.

Breakfast was buffet, tomato cuke salad, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, breads, sweet breads, coffee, tea, etc. there is a sports bar, food and drink. Could get loud, even up high, but we enjoyed the enthusiasm of the crew watching the games.

It's difficult to provide an overall rating for the hotel, since there were good and bad aspects. Good - the price, the location was convenient to Acropolis, shopping, and food, the staff was good. Bad - although my room was excellent, my sister's room was very small and cramped. The elevator can only take two people or one plus luggage at a time. There is a sports bar on the first floor which is noisy when a game is gong on.

We loved our stay at this property. There were 6 of us traveling, we booked a penthouse and upon arrival we got an upgrade to a penthouse with a private roof top terrace, with amazing views of Acropolis. Staff extremely attentive, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered daily had wonderful options. Very fast internet was a perk. Close by restaurants, shops, bars, metro station made it all very convenient to get around. Few draw backs, which did not really affect our stay but may be considered if you are traveling with someone with disability or elderly, make sure you book a room on a lower level as the elevator is very small ( accommodates just 1-2 people ) and there are a lot of stairs. The area around is on a dirty side, but that is not the hotels fault nor responsibility. Hotel itself is dated but very clean. We would like to suggest stronger light bulbs in the bathrooms and perhaps a shower curtain so that water would not splash all around the bathroom floor. That was little hard to manage as the shower was small. Overall we loved our stay at this place. Thank you

Basic room but adequate if your intention is to be out and about most of time which is what we were. It’s very central so walking distance to the Acropolis and restaurants, including one excelling one across the road. Sports bar downstairs and laundry. Staff were extremely helpful.

This place was good for one night. There was easy access to the metro and lots of dining options available—excellent air con in the room which was appreciated. Cons- there were a few ants in the bathroom when we arrived, but when we woke up, several were all over the room. You can hear everything; people in the hall sound like they are in your room.

Athens Studios is in a great location a few minutes walk from the less busy south entrance to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the Plaka neighborhood. We did the family suite that included a separate bedroom, full kitchen, and two balconies, only one of which had furnishings. It was nice to have the extra space of the suite as well as a full refrigerator and microwave. One balcony has an obstructed view of the Acropolis, but the rooftop, which is accessible only to deluxe suite guests, has a great view. The daily breakfast was pretty good with choices of yogurt, pre-made egg dishes, salads, fruit, and baked goods, but the choices did not change from day to day. So why only three stars? A few things bring my rating down. 1) the finishes in the room were very basic and the unit felt worn. 2) the bathroom is a wet room in which there is not a shower enclosure, so the entire floor gets wet. 3) the room had a standard European requiremnt to insert your key card for lights, but the air conditioners were also tied to that which caused the room to always be hot when returning; we tried leaving the card in the slot when leaving the suite, but the maid would remove it. 4) the towels felt worn and, one day were still damp as if the maid had simply rerolled our wet towels. 5) the laundromat was overpriced at 12€ to wash and dry a small load.

When we arrived at 8AM, the room was not ready which is understandable. The young man at the check-in helped us store our luggage and asked us to check the availability of the room at noon. We came back after 12PM and tried to ask the lady at the Check-in. She even did not allow me to say my name and ask the availability of my room. She just asked us to come back after 2 PM - so impatient and unprofessional! Then the other man claimed that he checked the room and found it was not ready. I replied "you even do not know my name, how do you check if my room is not ready?" - I was impressed with his talent. The room is obviously not sound-proof, we can hear all the noises from the street and even other rooms.

This is a great place to stay for quick access to Acropolis and lots of very walkable areas nearby with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was good with a lot of options and covered outdoor seating. The room was small but efficiently laid out, with air conditioning and a balcony. It was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful in getting us taxis as needed.

The room didn’t match the photos on Hotels.com at all. It was big, but a bit dated. The mattresses were VERY soft. Breakfast was crowded and inedible. Great location and nice staff, but I’d pass if given a choice.

Good communications prior to trip re late check in info. Receptionist at check in was friendly and showed us how to operate security system. Room was clean with power points in bedside tables. Good, refreshing shower. The Studios were in a safe area, convenient for the Acropolis and other ancient attractions as well as the vibrant area of Plaka and Syntagma Square.

This hotel is in a great area, walk to the Acropolis only 5-10 min. Our room was quiet even though the area is very lively with many restaurants open late. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Some negatives were a challenging process to get into the room. If you arrive after midnight, as we did, the lobby is closed and you have to contact someone through the intercom, they took about 15 minutes to come to let us in. then as our door code was not working, they had to come in again to let us in. overall the process of getting into the room took about an hour, not a great experience at 1 am after a very long trip. The breakfast buffet starts at 8 am, which is also when the Acropolis opens and everybody recommends getting there before 8, so we missed the buffet one of our days. But overall we were pleased with this hotel, being able to stay in a walking distance to many attractions, for a relatively reasonable price.

Good communications prior to trip re late check in info. Receptionist at check in was friendly and showed us how to operate security system. Room was clean with power points in bedside tables. Good, refreshing shower. The Studios were in a safe area, convenient for the Acropolis and other ancient attractions as well as the vibrant area of Plaka and Syntagma Square.

We loved our stay at Athens Studios. It's super close to the metro and we took the train from the airport there. Easy to walk with our suitcases to the hotel. All the receptionists we talked with were friendly and helpful. We got in two hours before check in time and they let us get to our room early since our room was ready! The elevator is very small (only two people at most) but it worked and got us to our room. The AC worked great. Beds comfortable. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast served from 8 to 10 am. Wish it was served earlier as we had a lot of activities that started earlier so we only had breakfast there once. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby, and it's right next to the Acropolis. The place is keyless. You access the front door and our room by entering codes so I recommend you take a picture of the codes in case you forget. There's a sports bar right downstairs which could get loud on nights when a game was being televised but we loved the vibe and the noise usually died down by midnight. This is a great, affordable hotel right in the heart of Athens. Miss it already.

Breakfast is in the fast food restaurant next door - very basic, machine hot drinks, some buns, fruit, boiled eggs. We went out instead. It's more of a hostel then a hotel. Our twin was very basic and tiny, nothing like any of the pics. If they offer you transfers to port or airport don't take them they are twice the price of a normal taxi or Uber.

The room didn’t match the photos on Hotels.com at all. It was big, but a bit dated. The mattresses were VERY soft. Breakfast was crowded and inedible. Great location and nice staff, but I’d pass if given a choice.

The Studio turned out to be one street away from my tour's 4 star hotel in the old part of the City near the Plaka. It was merely a few blocks from the Acropolis itself its archeological museum and the Metro station. The location could not have been better. The room's door had a punch-number code that is changed daily so no key to worry about. It also means that one can leave the electricity card in its slot to charge phones, laptops, etc., while one is out for the day. The facility was akin to a hostel in its simplicity and straightforward presentation, which could sound like a turn-off but it was extremely clean, neat and welcoming from check in to comfort in sleeping.
