We had to replace our key cards 5 times! There are no plugs in the bathroom. No amenities at all and not enough parking for all of the rooms so we had to park on the street. This is an old, rundown motel that has had a little of a facelift to the rooms.

Much cheaper than chain places in the Corvallis area in summer. Its a little hard to get into with the traffic patterns in Philomath and no breakfast but I had a deluxe king room that was nice. I would stay here again.

This is your typical small town motel. Not the motel's fault, but there were people sitting right outside our door smoking. No ice. Soda machine was broken. Also the bed was not a queen, probably a double.

Room Was clean but very small. Barely any room on each side of the bed. Parking is tight and limited. Bed was a bit on the hard side but that's a personal preference. No real amenities in room such as usb outlets or even conveniently placed outlets. It is about what you get for the price and worked for our stay when other motels were 200+ more per night for family weekend at OSU.

The hotel was extremely clean in a very quiet and peaceful area. It exceeded my expectations because the images show that it’s an older motel and given that we booked it as a last resort, worked out perfectly! I noticed that the exterior is well kept with beautiful flowers and no dust or cobwebs in sight. We’d gladly stay there again.

So many red flags, but I usually am pretty chill and can roll with most things. An empty parking lot, locked/dark lobby, “greeter” that really would prefer you weren’t there. I’m fine with those things. Getting keys out of the drop box for the room, really weird, but maybe that’s how they do it here. But the stench and filth in the room, with human and pet hair (please be pet hair) all over the floor and in between all the blankets(old and worn bare) and the sheets (stained) I had to draw the line. The “greeter” had locked the lobby up, turned off the lights and drove away so I dropped the keys and drove off. (I can’t blame the guy for not wanting to be there either). So far, I’ve been told—no refund. From the hotel and from hotels.com. I’ll let my card company fight it for me. Please, don’t try to stay here. 01/16/2025.

Will not stay here again. There was dirty towels hung on the back door in bathroom. The tub wasn’t clean, and a few bugs on the floor . The kitchen counters were dirty under the coffee maker, looks like it spilled and never cleaned.. The lady at front dest was nice though.

It was way over-priced for the quality. Biggest complaint was thinness of the walls; the guy upstairs was walking around all night and we could hear every foot step. Shampoo came in weird paper packages. The shower was very slippery. The service was negative. It was fine for a night but not a place I would ever recommend.

I wasn't certain about staying at the Galaxie Motel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rate was affordable. The location is perfect for Philomath & Corvallis events. The rooms were clean, nothing fancy, but perfect for the night. The bed was comfortable. There is a 2 burner stove, microwave & fridge for your convenience. They also have wifi. Check-in is not overly friendly, but you have to remember it is a motel.

One should not have to have a muscle man to turn on water for shower. Therefore we did not have showers. Manager came and after (what looked hard for him) he did turn on the water. Neither my husband or myself could turn it on,

This was the absolute worst motel I have ever been to! First I go to check in and I was instantly accused of trying to stay 2 nights for the price of one!! No Sir!! I booked and paid in advance in full. Owner kept hanging up on Hotels.com. Finaly I was able to reach Hotels.com and I spoke to Sidd a costumer service PROFESSIONAL wonderful genus. But he said to pay the owner 77 more $ and Sidd was able to send me a refund immediately. He straightened out the situation. Until check out.....I went to get my cash deposit and they said a drop of juice on the sheets means they have to WASH the sheets?! WHAT?! I was sick at the thought alone!! It was a dirty hotel that had a horrendous smell. It was a sickly stench and they were trying to mask the smell with too much cheap glade wall plug ins. If l didnt absolutely have to stay because of work I would never have checked in. I also have some weird red bumps that itch on my legs so does my hubby. Please don't waist your money and time on this motel from "hell".

From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and pampered. The room was so clean and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The manager was waiting for us when we arrived. We never saw the maid, but each morning when we left, the room was cleaned, our towels were replaced with fresh ones and our bed was made. Couldn't be happier.

The owners were scammers. Property indicated pet friendly and booked a room with 2 queen beds. Last minute my son decided he wanted to come with us. They charge $x for each child and $xx for each animal. It was almost midnight and we were leaving at 8 am there was no indication that there was a charge for pets. I told them i would leave the dog in the car. She said i had to pay the fee either way. I wasn't expecting much as it was a $xx room but being swindled out of another $xx ticked me off. Two queen beds to them means only 2 people can be in the room? I took photos of all the damage and nastiness and promptly showed them to her as I felt like they were the type to make false claims. Had to sleep on top of the covers of one bed due to hair and what looked like bugs on the sheets. If i wasn't so tired from driving I would have just risked it and drove the rest of the way home...

Hotel clerk was very rude, didn’t care about how we felt about the stay, didn’t give us enough toilet paper even though we asked. Had to pay a $50 cash deposit and I had no idea that was needed, had to go get the money and it was a big inconvenience.

It's very old but clean. No box of tissues in room. Need more pillows to comfortably sit in bed and watch tv. Lousy coffee - no snacks available. Not enough toiletries, e.g. shower cap, makeup remover, etc. One of 2 people at checkin was not very friendly. Bed is too high to comfortably sit on edge and watch tv. Please ditch the Bible - a listing of local businesses & restaurants or sites would be beneficial.

Did not look forward to this stay. I prepared for a local dumpy motel but I made the reservation. I have to apologize every way possible. The place was spotless, quiet, the staff was courteous the bed the best I’ve slept in for months. Will not hesitate to stay again if I am in the area. It was extremely affordable.No breakfast but who cares with all the comforts available.
