Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton I-35/Mulvane

The property is connected to a 24 hour casino, which I enjoyed and it has a nice pool and hot tub. It also has a breakfast included with the room, which is convenient and save you a lot of money in the mornings. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.

System crashed at check in. Had to wait 40 minutes to check in. Beds hard. Pool was green

This was a very nice hotel. We used the pool and the gym which were excellent. The only downside was the bedding, which was a light bedspread, a sheet and a duvet. Duvets are just too warm for us and we had trouble getting the room cold enough to be comfortable with the duvet and there wasn't a blanket option.

Always a great stay…breakfast is amazing every day. Would say the only downfall of the stay was the pile of dirty towels that were in the pool area 2 of our 5 day stay & we even told the front desk about it the first time. Second time (not the day after the first incident) the cleaning person came in by the bathroom but went right past all the towels & there they stayed even when we left the pool about an hr later

Staff at front desk were very good, rooms very nice, breakfast very good and pool is well kept up and clean! It is a place to relax on your trip and have a great time!

Huge hotel with an attached casino (which I didn’t really notice when I made the reservation). I would give it an excellent for cleanliness but you could smell the smoke of the casino all over the lobby and lifting up into the halls of the upper floors. Really too bad too because it was a nice property. Parking was a bit of a pain because you have to compete with people going to the casino. Would be nice for parking nearer the hotel to be reserved for hotel guests only. The staff was fantastic, extremely helpful and very friendly! Our room was okay, bed very comfortable, but the lighting in the room was poor. Not very good for reading at all.

We stayed two nights at the hotel connected to the Kansas Star Casino and were comfortable staying there. We found the property to be easy to navigate with plenty of common space for guests, their luggage and ample room at the check-in desk. The room was clean and comfortable, including the bed. One dissapointment was there was no remote control for the TV but the front desk sent one up at our request. There were only two towels which wasn't enough. My wife uses two by herself. We asked for more towels but didn't get them. We were gone part of the day so they may have sent some but we don't know for sure. We did eat breakfast at the hotel and there was a decent array of options. I laughed at the 'birthday cake waffle batter' as if waffles and syrup aren't sweet enough! Coffee and other beverage options were in good supply. I worked out at the fitness center during the day and was mostly satisfied, but the multi-function machine was broken so that was frustrating. Some of the pins that locked in certain weights had come out so it was nearly unusable. Sad. One other point is that there is no door between the hotel lobby (and room hallways) and the casino. So all the cigarette smoke eventually finds its way throughout the hotel and for non-smokers that's a huge red flag. Fortunately our room was WAY at the end of the hallway so we didn't smell smoke in our room but if you were at the near end smoke would have been detectable. I suggest the casino place HEPA fi

Over all it was good. An outlet by the bed didn't work and bathroom exhaust didn't work but we did tell them so hopefully that's something they take care of. Service was good. It was relatively quiet. Loved the pool and hot tub. Adjoining casino was nice too. Breakfast was also good and convenient

This is the dirtiest Hilton I have ever stayed in. Bathroom was not clean. The carpets were so dirty. Do not recommend staying here.

Staff very friendly helpful even though the hotel was very busy. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The entire establishment and the rooms reeked of smoke. There is an attached casino which allows smoking. Made our stay miserable. We were on the 5th floor to give you an idea of how bad it was.

Both bathrooms needed additional cleaning around the stool area.

Had an issue with our room (bed bugs) but the staff was very accommodating and upgraded our room and offered free laundry services if needed. I would have like to gotten a little more than just a room upgrade however, considering we weren’t taking any risk of bringing those things home with use and so disposed of our luggage and my fav purse 😢. I’m sure Hilton Rewards will compensate somehow. Waiting to hear back from them. Oh and the room we were moved to didn’t have any bugs!

Smoke smell all over

Roaches crawling all over the kitchenette. Thank god it was only 1 night!

The “non smoking” room smelled of smoke as did the threadbare towels. The bed wasn’t comfortable and the room seemed like it hadn’t been updated in decades. We stayed here previously and been satisfied. This will certainly be the last time we stay here.

Refrigerator had left over food on a plate in it.

Room was very clean

The heater made a slight rattle but the biggest complaint was the TV. The only way we could get the volume to adjust was to walk around in front of the TV to get it to work, not cool when you are trying to relax in bed trying to relax. Not fun!

Clean room, only down fall was no microwave in the room and no easy access to outside seating.

Our air conditioner ran all night long on the lowest setting and it was miserably hot all night in our room. We had this same problem the last time we stayed here last June. It was so hot we were sweating all night long and barely got any sleep.

Large room, courteous staff, nice breakfast, easy parking.

The floors are so loud. We had to listen to the guy upstairs getting in his “steps” until 4am. No sleep

Bed felt like mattress was 30 years old with sinkhole in center. Worst bed ever

AC was broken in our room; walls were so thin we could hear the person next door snoring. It was such an awful nights sleep that we ended up checking out in the middle of the night and going home. 😩

Had no record of my booking despite receiving email from hotel.com and the hotel itself confirming my booking which resulted in me having to book on arrival and not honouring original price which meant it cost more putting me over the company budget. Not by much but it's the principle.

After ten hour drive old guy ,me,didn’t follow front desk instruction to get to my room. My mistake, front desk guy was very helpful and shared in the humor. I have stayed here many times before. I always enjoy staff and location for a good break driving fro. Minnesota to Sherman Texas. Great pet rules and access to out doors.

I had 3 kids who stayed the night with my wife and I and had a basketball team running up the halls after midnight and had to call the front desk TWICE before something was done.

The only problem we had was getting inside our room. At one point our key card would not unlock our door. The front desk staff also tried using their key and had a similar problem. The maintenance staff recharged the lock but it was still difficult getting the key card to work. Other than that the room was great. Room 306

Every thing was great, until someone else was given a key to our room & we were asleep at 12:30am & a couple walked in our room.

I lost my phone there but did not realize it until later that day. Stephanie was great in assisting me in getting my phone mailed back to me.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and again this time. Hotel is conveniently located by the casino. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

Easy on and off access to Interstate.

Great location. Super clean. Nice and helpful staff. Indoor pool and hot tub were especially nice, same with the gym. The lobby was large with plenty of sitting areas. It was nice to have a more formal restaurant/bar. The snack shop was fully stocked with candy, microwaveable food, wine, beer, soft drinks and toiletries.

Great staff and property! Nice to be attached to a casino and to not have that casino noise be an issue in the hotel. Will stay again!

Convenient location off I-35. This is a toll exit, so be prepared with a KTag or cash to pay. This is a spacious property, I assume geared for high traffic during Arena events. The hotel did not honor my request for a top-level floor room, and of course, we had guests in the room above us tromping ALL NIGHT LONG. The shower has glass sliding doors that wouldn\'t open all the way. Luckily I am slim enough that I could get in and out. The robe hook was damaged, with the "hooks" pointing down instead of up. No USB plugs were available to charge electronic devices. You may not bring a drink out of the casino area nor bring any beverage, like morning coffee, into the casino. Not exactly the "resort" or Hilton experience I was hoping for. There is nothing close for dining options apart from the restaurants onsite. If you are just looking for a place to stay, and not here for a concert, I recommend staying in Witchita.

The hotel was nice with several options for breakfast. There is a casino attached to the hotel for those interested. It’s not very conveniently located, there isn’t even a gas station near. Overall, pretty good. I’d stay there again.

Room and staff were great, disappointed in the quality of the hot food items. It was not mentioned, at least obviously thay the hotel was connected to a Casino. That could be good or bad , it just should be highlighted in the listing.

More Dining options for those who are not Casino aged! There seems to be tons of money left on the table for feeding all the kids who frequent this facility.

Location. Staff was friendly. Went to breakfast at 9:30 and all the hot food was gone and took telling the manager before the cook made more. Breakfast was scheduled to continue till 10:00. Manager was helpful.

Although the hotel is fine- It isHUGE and is attached to a large casino . The attached restaurants all allow smoking so had to drive 20 minutes away to find a smoke free location. I will not return for these reasons.

The staff was great! However, our heating/cooling system was obnoxiously loud. We were only staying one night due to a snowstorm making the roads difficult. Otherwise, we would have said something and tried to move. Just FYI if you’re traveling as a family, be aware that all the food is behind the casino gate so nobody under 21 can go into the restaurants.

Loved the hotel and the casino. Only onsite restaurant we knew of was closed so only food court options available for dinner. Would stay again and would recommend.

Restaurants within the facilities and there were choices between the restaurants. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. I would stay there again but there are toll roads in Kansas and Oklahoma. I did not know that before. I will keep my route through Nebraska.
