Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown, GA

It was a wonderful place to stay. The valet parking was great until they didn’t bring the car in time and we missed our flight home. We were able to book another flight the next day and the hotel gave us the night free! Call well in advance for your car if you have a time deadline to meet.

The property was recently renovated but doesn't offer housekeeping and the restaurant was out of about half of the menu Parking is 50 dollars a night

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Didn’t feel safe walking to restaurant at night and parking was valet only, very expensive and took a while.

No pool. Unsafe conditions all around the property due to renovations

Thermostat in room didn’t work properly. You could change the temp and was warm in the room. We called and they couldn’t move us till possibly the next day. We had a full day planned and had a lot of stuff. We wouldn’t be able to move till after 4pm in the afternoon so we opted to deal with it. They said they would give us more points and some money off the room but never did when I checked my statements. The last morning the shower glass door came off. It was just glued to the track and no screws going through. Luckily we weren’t hurt. Front staff didn’t seem to care. No house keeping and they didn’t state so when we arrived. Pool was nice, room was clean, and bed was moderately comfortable. The service and maintenance need some work. I won’t be going back.

The room did not have bedding for fold out bed. We called the front desk and were told they would bring them. An hour passes, we called, and were told that there wasn't anyone to bring them. My husband went and got them. It was over 100° and the pool was still freezing. Finally, the parking. It said nominal fee for valet parking in garage, however, it does not tell you that there isn't ANY other parking and you are forced to use valet. This nominal fee is $50.

Electricity goes out for about 45 minutes then off and on then this property lost the keys to our car which we had to be at the hospital next morning so we had to take a Uber ……. Which made us late to our surgery appointment 45 minutes…… was not a good experience at all

GPS not updated took 4 passes to get to entry on Williams. Pool closed. Surprise charge for parking! not mentioned when booking. Very disappointed

All the staff we dealt with were extremely friendly. We especially had great service from the guys working valet. The bed was comfortable and the room was laid out well. We didn't like how it was 2 hotels combined together. We wouldn't have stayed here if we had known because it caused some confusion on multiple occasions. We also didn't like that our room reeked of pot. It got so strong we had to open the balcony door to get fresh air. We were traveling with our babies so it was very off putting. The room was also very loud with street noise so if someone is staying they may want to consider that. For some reason in our room the noise was louder in the bedroom than living area.

I stay for three days and no one cleans my room and bring me any essential items even if I called the front desk several times, I was the one to drop the trash cans also, I didn't face this kind of terrible situation in other states. I feel like I stayed in apartments not a hotel because of the lack of service.

The staff seemed really upset to be at work or to interact with customers. We spent a day and a half asking for a pack n play that we never received but kept getting the run around about . It took a full day of asking for a comforter replacement to get an incorrect item sent up and housekeeping only occurred once… barely. Housekeeping only came in to add more towels. For the cost of the night and the extremely expensive parking, save your time and money and go elsewhere

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Atlanta, GA, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever encountered. As a U.S. military veteran traveling with my wife and our 3-year-old son, I expected a clean and welcoming environment, especially considering the reputation of the Hilton brand. Upon entering our room, we were immediately hit by a pungent odor of cigarette smoke that was not only overwhelming but utterly unacceptable. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned and maintained, which is a basic expectation for any hotel, let alone one affiliated with such a respected name. The lingering smell made it difficult to breathe, let alone relax or enjoy our stay. As we walked down the hallway, the situation only escalated. We could smell the odor of marijuana wafting from other rooms, adding to our discomfort and concern for our young son. This atmosphere was not what we had envisioned for our family getaway. When I approached the front desk to address the issue, I was met with indifference. The staff informed me that there were no other rooms available, leaving us with no option but to endure the unpleasantness. It was incredibly frustrating to feel dismissed, especially after serving my country and expecting some level of respect and accommodation. Ultimately, we decided to cut our stay short from two nights to one, as the unbearable smells made it impossible to stay any longer.

The workers are amazing. That\'s all that I can say that is good. There is no where to park that doesn\'t cost you $50 (plus tip) a day for their valet service. The valet stand is blocking the walkway, so if you\'re handicapped, it\'s tough to get to the doors from the garage. The smoking area is in the garage, and is NASTY. Twice a homeless man was in there getting very close, begging for cigarettes. The bedrooms are lovely, however the bathroom and kitchens are gross. There was mold in the bathroom under the cabinets because it\'s a "wet room" but the sink cabinet is wood and very close to the shower. There were *hairs* behind the toilet. The kitchen seems fine until you try to use the provided pans. The nonstick coating is flaking off in nickle size chunks. Their free breakfast is great until you watch a bug crawl up into the waffle batter, and see dead bugs in the bowl that holds the jelly. The hotel could be amazing. They don\'t seem to clean. EVER. There was a bag of trash someone left outside the MAIN FLOOR elevators. It sat there for two days. Also, be sure to fully inspect your vehicle before you drive out of the garage every single time. They scraped my car against a pillar, we saw it when we stopped ACROSS THE STREET to get gas, and thy won\'t take care of it because I left the property. All things considered, it\'s not the worst place I have ever stayed at. But I won\'t ever go back.

The room was not clean. The amenities in the kitchen were dusty and I found bugs on the carpet and near the windows in the room. The bathroom vent was not working either.

Room was immaculate, the front desk staff were so sweet and checked in to make our stay was going well. Great location!

Lots of room in suite

The AC in the front part of the room was broken and remained broken for our whole stay. They tried to give us another room, which was too small for four people. Two different managers told me that they would accommodate me and refund the first night and it still never happened. Then for two days they were out of towels, and we had to go buy our own. This hotel is too expensive to have anything go wrong. I’ll never stay here again and i wouldn’t recommend no friends or family to stay here either

After changing the temp on the thermostat, nothing happened so the next morning I complained to the front desk and they assured me engineering would fix it so I left for the day(10:15am). Upon returning to my room (8:24pm) I noticed the temp was still the same, HOT and I hadn't been notified by the hotel about anything. So around 10pm I called the front desk again to complain a second time and that is when I was told that someone had indeed visited my room but concluded that the AC unit was BROKEN AND COULD NOT BE FIXED. And now at 10ish at night they decide to offer me the opportunity to change rooms which I would have opt for when I first returned to the room at 8:24pm but not at 10pm. Two hot nights at this hotel but NEVER AGAIN!! During check out, the lady at the front desk asked me how did I enjoy my stay so told her how I suffered through the hot nights here at this hotel and she offered to at least take ONE of the $50/night valet fees off my bill but I learned after returning home the next day that the HOTEL MANAGEMENT declined her request because they felt like giving me $25 worth of Hilton Points and a free drink at the bar was enough...this is what you can expect when staying at this hotel!

The hotel room looked amazing. The room did not provide extra bedding for the pullout bed. I called front desk twice and never received the extra bedding I requested. Overall it was a good experience but the little details would have made the experience so much better.

First when I walked in the room the lady at the desk didn’t say hello. She said do you have a question. Keep in mine I just started using homewood because the one in Tampa was soooo great I committed to only staying there. Then I confirmed the morning of checkin was 50 dollars. When I told the rep no I didn’t have a question I wanted to check in she said oh what’s your name then she said the incidental fee was 100 I left an stayed to Hilton in buck head. This hole surely did give me the experience we go it Tampa. Do better

We were down for a wedding and Antonio was amazing there! He always said hi to us and knew who we were! Complimented us every time he saw us!

Location is great, pretty close to GeorgiaTech, Publix, restaurants etc. Breakfast is not bad. Spacious rooms. Good kitchen. Didnt like - hi speed wifi costs 4.95 per day extra. First whole day of stay key system was down. Housekeeper took 24 hrs and 3 phone calls to get extra pillows. Laundry experience was not great.

Rude, dirty, and smelled like a grease trap (poop) in garage. Still lingering in my truck. Not luxury at all. Construction on all sides, noisy, and small uncomfortable suites. Dirty linens still laying in the same place in the hall from last guest. Carpet looks like Mid-town partiers up choked hang over...mess..disgusted!

It was a good stay with the exception of parking. Kind of sketchy to park in the garage next door which was about $34 per day and then walking the street side to get to the hotel. The bus stop in front of the entrance had a few questionable individuals. The bathroom wasn’t spotless but we were only there for a night so nothing crazy. Breakfast was ok. Staff was ok. Not great but not bad either.

Breakfast was not acceptable. Nothing ready and had toast 30 minutes. It is Atlanta for goodness sakes. You know your accommodation and how many people. Have your breakfast ready. No excuse.

Great customer service but ghe breakfast is not the best

The suite was excellent, with a separate bedroom and living room, plus a fully-equipped kitchen. Breakfast (in the lobby level) was included and was qiote satisfactory. There was a problem with the card-key system which was "down" for about a half day, requiring me to download and use the Hilton App until it was restored. Also there were some minor maintenance issues which I explained to desk staff as I checked out. Altogether I was very satisfied with the property.

We really enjoyed this property. The staff was next level amazing. The hotel was clean and our room was very comfortable. Great art. Overall super pleased with this stay and Homewood is def a brand we will stay at again. Only thing we didn’t love was breakfast.

Stay was nice. Still trying to get used to not having daily housekeeping. Had to ask for room to be made up and fresh towels after 2 full days. Valet was expensive and not the best. Breakfast was good each day
