If traveling when it’s hot I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to get the air conditioning going. It took a long time for the room to cool enough for sleeping. The hotel is not updated but it was fairly clean and affordable. Being set back from the Main Street made it quieter. Would stay again!

The building is showing its age and is a bit musty smelling. But it was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Good price for one night. They should update the online pictures and amenities with current information. There is no pool as stated online. I came back to the hotel late and the front door was locked, the provided key only works on the interior room. I buzzed and was let in right away but they should think about providing another way in. Good inexpensive choice for a few hours sleep.

I was travelling with a friend. When we checked in I asked about swimming pool. Was told old photo. No pool in years. Update your site. We had 2 beds. When I checked mine no top sheet. Bathroom has 2 bath towels. Nothing else. Called and asked for towels and sheet. She came with top sheet and 2 more bath towels no hand towel. But everything was spotless clean which is most important

Pretty great little motel in a nice spot, can’t complain about much other than the small window shaker AC couldn’t really keep up with the heat, so the room was not very cool during the hotter period of the day. Luckily it cooled off in the evening, and so did the room.

On arrival I was greeted by a price that was higher than advertised on website. When I showed them the advertised price they said they had no rooms. They then made me wait an hour till Expedia called to confirm my reservation. The room was dirty and there was food in the fridge and it was mouldy. The drapes were falling off the rails. Room was not clean:, coffee pot still had coffee grounds from previous occupant, bathroom bathtub did not drain: bathroom door squeaked loud enough to wake everyone, no facecloths, furniture was very sparse, one of the ceiling lights blinked off and on, the floors were dirty. The only thing that was acceptable were the mattresses , which were comfortable. Very poor condition costing 150 night. This was room # 117.

I only stayed for two hours as the room was not clean. I drove through the night to reach my destination (Edmonton) instead. The light switches (white) and phone (cream) were encrusted with grime. Then I wondered if all the other surfaces which were wood or laminate were dirty too. I saw a long hair in the bathtub and was totally grossed out. I just felt uncomfortable. I have stayed at the Robin Hood Inn & Suites in Victoria which is a similar set-up but was totally clean every time.

The room had a lot of defects, could not control temp of AC either on ir off, paneling had cracks in it , some light switch were installed wrong. Had room in seemed to be basement other rooms maybe better. The staff is very nice though.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Rooms were clean & spacious. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the option of cash deposit. Main entrance gets locked at night for safety. Overall, we were happy with our stay. I would definitely recommend and return.

Delicious Korean restaurant right beside it and walking distance to nearby stores. Stayed for business and pleasure for 2 days. Will do so again.

First the good: The location is convenient for getting on and off the highway, and it's still very close to downtown. The staff (I believe it's a family-run operation) were friendly and helpful. It's affordable for a one-night stay, and except as noted below, it offers basic comfort. The not-so-good: The TV remote didn't work. The young man at the front desk found another one, which had more working buttons, but still did not work properly. So I had to control the TV with the tiny and hard-to-see buttons on the set. That was a problem because the room was poorly lit. There was only one room light at the entry door, as well as a bedside table lamp, but the corner with the TV was dark. The thermostat didn't adjust, and it was quite cold that night. The bed had only a fitted bottom sheet, but no top sheet or blankets. I ended up sleeping in my coat. A different room might have been OK, but I didn't get a good night's sleep.

The bed was comfotable and the area was quiet for a good sleep. It had a kitchenette which was handy, but you need your own plates. Our only issue was there was no remote for the tv, but it was late when we noticed and was not that important.

We were on our way to a concert in Vancouver and they let us get our hotel key on our way bye early which was very convenient for us, the staff was super friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast and the main hotel could use a renovation but the room was clean and very comfortable sleep. Was nice and quiet and we fell asleep fast. There was a refrigerator in the room and that was convenient for us since we were coming from grande cache, AB.

The hotel is near McDonald's, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, Safe on Foods, etc...they have fridge, microwave, coffee maker (bring your own coffee), nice washroom, and the tv has a good package of shows.
