Clean property, well lit exteriors. The property is obviously older, but rooms are decently renovated, clean, and functional. If your looking for a Hilton 5 Star, go book one. This Motel offers decent rates for basic room and amenities, the linen is clean, and all you need to sleep comfortably.

Very noisy. Young boys running along corridors and shouting until 10 every evening. Men yelling at each other until 1 or 2 in the morning showing no respect for their families or other guests. Women who worked there seemed to be trying hard.Building looked like a fire hazard.

The property was old rundown in desperate need of updates. The walkways were unkept, cans filled with cigarette butts and alcohol bottles left laying around. Outside light shining directly into the windows all night long as the curtains were not black out. It was noisy when people walked around in the room and walk way above our room. The bed was okay. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic but the tub is definitely needing to be replaced and the tiles grouting repaired. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast as the area was cramped and not welcoming

Building rundown. TV did not work. Shower ran to cold water in about 2 min. Check in lady had some type of food batter all over her hands when she served me. Travelled with pets no garbage bins to deposit picked up poop. Not actual breakdown receipt just a receipt from the visa machine.

Rooms are in very rough shape, and quite dirty. I was without water and had to move rooms. A random man barged into my room without knocking, he was startled and informed me " you no have water". I was not move rooms until late the next day.

Check in was horrible, she didn't have a clue. Bathroom door was falling apart, towels were brown and looked dirty. Didn't even bother to shower because of that. Thank God the beds looked clean.

just a dingy place, no blankets, just a bed spread you know doesn't get washed everytime because it smelled like cigarette smoke, and a sheet. Unsavory characters in the parking lot and the breakfast was beyond bad..like inedible.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this motel. I found a sticky spot on the floor infront of the sink, the toilet paper roll wasn’t a fresh roll, the room needed some major redoing. But the worst was when we caught the owner/worker’s teenager urinating on the front of the building, just to the right of the office when we came back from an evening walk. Don’t think I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends

Motel 8, in my opinion is a 2 star. The rooms were clean, but certainly need some updating in the bathroom area. Door to the bathroom sticks, so is noisy openong the door. A good paintjob would help. Buy it was just one night, and served the purpose.

I originally got a room and I couldn’t lock it on the inside. Not to mention the rooms were full of damage. When I asked for a new room they told me it was ok because it was locked on inside which I didn’t like. Got a new room and it was a bit better. Still a decent amount of damage in the room. The shower pressure was terrible and kept going from ice cold to scolding hot. Probably won’t stay here again

The room was nice and cozy and warm. Glad I was the only one, as it was short on towels. No wi-fi Had coffee but no tea in the room Breakfast is pretty much non existant. A bit of cereal, some yogurt and bread. Didn't see milk for the cereal

Television worked first night but next day wouldn’t turn on. Left messages on phone and in person at front office but tv still wasn’t fixed before we checked out. Also window was quite dirty. Breakfast was minimal. Overall the place is okay for the price and I would probably stay here again.

The room was clean and comfy. Good bed, amenities. One thing. The owners should know more about what is going on in Olds. I asked how I got to an event and the two employees had no idea what the event was or how to get to the venue. Also, maybe get a room on the second floor....noise from upstairs was difficult at 5 in the morning. Woke me up.

Cleanliness should mot be reserved for luxury accommodations. Poorly constructed building and you can hear everything so peaceful sleep is not possible. After i locked myself out of my room is impossible to locate the owner. Waiting now for over 1 hr. I will update what the final wait was. I have commitments that i will.miss now as i can NOT retrieve my things from my room This place is a JOKE!

The property was easy to find/easily accessible from the Main Street. Check-in was not smooth—there was NO ONE at the front desk when we arrived. There was a small note on the window with a phone # — upon calling the ph# I was advised staff were not at the property (due to a personal emergency) and our room key was left behind a planter on the counter. Aside from that issue our stay was uneventful. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the TV was working. Yes the property is aging, however given the price/rate for the room I am satisfied. We needed a room for one night and the stay was fine/no further issues. The free breakfast IS extremely limited, but again - keep in mind this is a budget-priced motel and the breakfast offerings were adequate. I WOULD recommend staying here, and I will have no issues with booking here again.

It's dated but still a move place to sleep for a night or 2. Because of its age there kit much to sound proofing the floors. After a late night of dance comps a wakcup to the upstairs people at 5 am was jot what we had hoped for Wish we could turn the outside lights out at night. Overall the owners are super kind and id have no issues staying again. Might ask for an upper leave room next time though ❤️ Hip skip and, a jump to Tim's for breakfast as, well which was a bonus

When I checked in the gentleman was friendly. The room was clean. There was supposed to be breakfast available at 6:00 am until 10:00am, there was expired yogurts in the fridge and there was only muffins available at about 8:30. There was no one available when it was time to check out so I left my key on the front desk.

Room was very outdated. No one on the office at check in or check out. Both times had to wait for someone to come. At check out I gave up as I had an appointment and just left the key. Junk left around in the hallways which are all outside. The free breakfast was a joke.

Olds is a small simple little town. This motel is older and its condition shows that. Prices were reasonable for what you get. Our room was clean and without odor but dated. This is an owner run property. I stayed for 6 day's and for the money I can’t complain. The owner is honest. I left some money on the bed for the person cleaning the room and the money was put on the dresser. Breakfast was marginal at best and hit a miss. Supplies were very sparingly put out. I only went to breakfast twice and that was my observation both times. A few bananas, a few small yogurts, several breads and a roll of 6 bagels on one day no bagels the next. Several small jelly packets containers with juice and milk in mini fridge A couple mostly empty cereal bags. All This would be an easy fix. Owner appeared to be foreign born and very conservative. I’m guessing that has something to do with it. She even cut her own grass. I would stay there again based on price to value.
