My son and I enjoyed our trip to Cow Head. The people were very friendly and although the motel is a little older, we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi being outside and we were able to have a good view of the natural water. It made for an awesome swim and relaxing moment..

We picked this motel because of it's location to Gros Morne National Park and it was hosting the Fall Festival Special dinner in the restaurant that night. In addition we had tickets for the local evening Festival show at a venue within walking distance. I paid extra for an ocean view room. We did have this but it was looking through a tall chain link fence around the closed outdoor pool. Our room was very small, with a single double bed for sleeping. Unfortunately the room was set up with the bed fastened against one wall so that I basically had to crawl over my partner to get out. There was a small fridge but no microwave. Fortunately the restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. I definitely feel the room was not good value for what we paid .

It was clean, and beds comfy. Nice waterfront view, but 2 bird droppings on the windows could have been cleaned off, we were on the main floor. The pool was not ready to be used, which was a reason we chose this location. Food was just ok. We did the Westbrook Pond fjord tour, and a theatre night which were both so worth it, but should have stayed in Rocky Harbour instead.

The cupboard above the stove in cabin 13 is falling down and needs attention. There's not enough comfortable seating in the living room for 4 people; there is room for at least one more comfortable chair other than the kitchen table chairs.

We stayed here one night on our way to St. Anthony and L'anse aux Meadows. Our cabin was very clean and everything was in good working order; the cabin itself appeared to be very new. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. It was the best accommodation we had on our NL visit. Cow Head is in a really nice coastal setting with a Clover Farm grocery store and a beautiful Parks Canada Beach a short drive away.

Great staff on duty !!! Check-in was fast and friendly. Our room was spacious, very clean and very adequate. We would not hesitate to stay there again !! We had dinner there at night and it was great. Then we walked across the street to the local theatre and musical/play/show. Great time all around. Thanks, Jacqueline and William.

One of the employee with a big black pickup truck almost hit my wife and my car as he was in a hurry to go somewhere!!! When he engage himself on the road he look at me and I thought that he would come back to say that he was sorry, instead he fled without saying that he was sorry. Unacceptable.

The cabin itself was nice with view on the water and a little deck area outside to sit. Restaurant staff were very nice, the food was ok. The pizza at the pub was great. The main downside is that there is not much around the motel itself if you just want to go for a walk

Staff was very courteous from front desk to restaurant. Dining room looked over the water & outdoor pool. Rib supper was good, seafood platter not so good (rubbery cod, scallops & shrimp were OK). Ample parking, right beside room made it easy to unload/load luggage. Room was clean, double beds in ours, bathroom clean & stocked. Shower was good pressure. Motel style, a little dated but ok for a 1 night stay.
