The room cleaning can be improved and the slanted roof can be dangerous to the heads whileq walking around the bed. Some furniture are old and lack maintenance. The breakfast is good with abundance choices. Good location visit the church.

I was on the 2 floor....so no elevator was nor much of an issue. If you need it ..this is not your place. Being across the street from the train station and a 10 minute walk to Chartres Cathedral...that was the miraculous bonus. They also have a Finnish sauna for 12 euros....it was just what I needed. The staff was lovely. Even when I did not clear out of my room at 11. They were kind.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Originals boutique Hotel. The staff helped us find the parking spot. They also told us about the illuminations each night on 21 various important building around Chartres. The most impressive are the projections on the front of the Cathedral. People were applauding at the end, it was so good. It's free to watch but there is a tourist train that will take you on a 45 min trip the town to see all the illuminations for 9€. I would definitely stay here again, breakfast was excellent. The hotel is right across from the train station. One thing to note there isn't an elevator, but the staff offered to help with bags.
