Excellent food and very welcoming staff, the building is a very old Inn so has plenty of charm

Quality Inn and hotel towards the top end of picturesque Swaledale.

I personally wouldn’t rate it as 4* accommodation. Food average, room clean but sparse and tired. Lounge area in bar very small and basically non existent and uninviting.

Great Hotel and loved the stay there. Fantastic food and a great location. Room 1 in which we stayed was however directly above the bar. It was possible to hear everything, and it was only possible to sleep once the bar closed.

Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10.
