A convenient location on Queen St, New Town close to the Portrait Gallery, restaurants/ cafes and tourist sites. The number 1 apartment was spacious, quiet and on the ground floor (no lift for upper floors) and had 8 steep steps to the front door. The two bedrooms & two bathrooms were located at the rear of the building and were quiet. Comfortable, stylish furniture & all kitchen amenities were provided. Destiny Scotland staff would not confirm what floor the apartment was on until the day before my arrival and could/ would not tell me how quiet or noisy as Queen St is a major road. When you book it is not clear which apartment you will be allocated. This lack of transparency by Destiny Scotland is an issue and I will not use them if this occurs again.

Horrible from day 1, there is no parking available, the place is far from 4 star, and the communication from the staff just not nice, no mention of renovation work been carried out from 8am until 5:30pm neither. I’m sure there’s much nicer genuine places to stay as appose to this one.

Nice modern decor, great location. I didn't like that the washer/dryer gave me problems and I could not get the dryer to work. This was disappointing, luckily I only washed a few light items. Better instruction for use of the dryer might be helpful.

Very large, clean, beautiful apartment in New Town. Fresh beds, everything we needed. Parking is a bit of a problem- had to park several long blocks away. But parking in Edinburgh is difficult and expensive, and we got a discount though the rental company. Highly recommend Destiny.

We looooooved this property! Everything was amazing! Extremely clean, cozy beds and linen, a washing machine and dryer, front and back patio's, extremely spacious, AND close to everything! It was everything we wanted, and it still exceeded our expectations. I will absolutely stay here again! Something to keep in mind, if you have mobility issues, entry to the three bedroom unit requires you to descend a flight of stairs - but there is a sturdy handrail. Stay here! You will NOT be disappointed!

We settled in for the week and were able to travel lightly because we had laundry. The kitchen was handy for a quick or a hearty breakfast depending on our daily agenda. Uber and bus were easily accessible, so was delivery for groceries and take out. Beds were comfortable and washroom was adequate. Living space was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Office staff was quick to respond and be of help.

Access to property was straight forward. We had the ground floor flat which was a two bedroom. It was really clean. There was plenty of space. Although a couple of minutes from Princes Street and on a main road, we could not hear any traffic or foot traffic outside. Full instructions on how to operate every thing were provided on an app and very clear Only thing missing in my view were non slip mats for the bath and shower. Office staff were very helpful when contacted with queries. Liked the property so much I have booked again for xmas.

Great location, very central but not noisy at night as bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. On arrival the cot was broken but within 45 mins someone had come to swap this over. There isnt a lift and we had a pram, was definitely managable though. Apartment was very spacious and was actually much bigger than what we thought it would be from the photos. I will 100% stay here again, was just what we wanted.

We had a very comfortable stay- very well explained for check in- The apartment was in an excellent position for a quick stay in Edinburgh- clean, tidy, comfortable and everything we needed.

Excellent property, very clean and well maintained. The property managers were very responsive on the phone and with emails. We spent a week and could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend, especially for families with kids.

The property is perfect for a longer stay in Edinburgh. It is a well-appointed one bedroom apartment in a beautiful house in central Edinburgh. It is close to transportation to the Royal Mike in an area of great restaurants, pubs and shopping. We had only one complaint the bed needs a new mattress and sofa. Otherwise, it is perfect.

Huge apartment, lovely decor and good amenities provided. We didn’t use the living room because the windows are single glazed and the noise from the road was too loud. The bedroom was on the back which was good but there was a lot of noise during the night from drunk people and glass being thrown in the recycling. There was a weird high pitched noise in the cupboard next to the bathroom every time we used the water, sometimes even when we didn’t. Really weird and annoying as it went on in the night sometimes. Bed needs replacing as it felt like it was going to fall apart at any minute. Toilet paper was the cheapest you could buy. Disappointing because it’s such a lovely property and maybe it’s listed so double glazing isn’t an option but I’m sure something could be done to rectify the issues we faced.

It was inconvenient not to have a chest drawer in other 2 bedrooms except the master bedroom. Plus missing the hanging hooks in washroom, it will convenient to take shower if we have hanging hook or table to place clothes and towels for shower and hand wash.

Enjoyed our stay. Parking was the only issue. No one answered when we called to figure out where to park. Overall nice residence and will stay again.

We settled in for the week and were able to travel lightly because we had laundry. The kitchen was handy for a quick or a hearty breakfast depending on our daily agenda. Uber and bus were easily accessible, so was delivery for groceries and take out. Beds were comfortable and washroom was adequate. Living space was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Office staff was quick to respond and be of help.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed in this building & I’d definitely come back again. Great communication from the company & apartment is well kept & comfortable. Good location also.

Access to property was straight forward. We had the ground floor flat which was a two bedroom. It was really clean. There was plenty of space. Although a couple of minutes from Princes Street and on a main road, we could not hear any traffic or foot traffic outside. Full instructions on how to operate every thing were provided on an app and very clear Only thing missing in my view were non slip mats for the bath and shower. Office staff were very helpful when contacted with queries. Liked the property so much I have booked again for xmas.

Excellent property, very clean and well maintained. The property managers were very responsive on the phone and with emails. We spent a week and could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend, especially for families with kids.

Great location, very central but not noisy at night as bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. On arrival the cot was broken but within 45 mins someone had come to swap this over. There isnt a lift and we had a pram, was definitely managable though. Apartment was very spacious and was actually much bigger than what we thought it would be from the photos. I will 100% stay here again, was just what we wanted.

A convenient location on Queen St, New Town close to the Portrait Gallery, restaurants/ cafes and tourist sites. The number 1 apartment was spacious, quiet and on the ground floor (no lift for upper floors) and had 8 steep steps to the front door. The two bedrooms & two bathrooms were located at the rear of the building and were quiet. Comfortable, stylish furniture & all kitchen amenities were provided. Destiny Scotland staff would not confirm what floor the apartment was on until the day before my arrival and could/ would not tell me how quiet or noisy as Queen St is a major road. When you book it is not clear which apartment you will be allocated. This lack of transparency by Destiny Scotland is an issue and I will not use them if this occurs again.

The property is perfect for a longer stay in Edinburgh. It is a well-appointed one bedroom apartment in a beautiful house in central Edinburgh. It is close to transportation to the Royal Mike in an area of great restaurants, pubs and shopping. We had only one complaint the bed needs a new mattress and sofa. Otherwise, it is perfect.

I loved how walkable the apartment was from everything that I wanted to do in the city. The most I had to walk was 20 minutes and I didn’t even feel it. Amazing location and not too far removed that made it unsafe! Loved it!

Spacious enough for my family group travel of six. It was a comfortable stay. Convenience location with shops and Edinburgh Castle lots of sight seeing spots are within around 10 walking distance.

Stayed one night in family size room. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was just ok. Manager seemed frustrated because we used a 3rd party app for reservation. Realize that may cost him some money, but friendliness and responsiveness should be top priority for all guests. Otherwise it would be a nice weekend getaway stay for a couple.

This accommodation is in a good location. As indicated, there is no elevator and we were on the third floor. With luggage this was a little difficult, but it was expected. We had a two bedroom unit and it was very large. It was clean with beautiful large windows. The kitchen was very well equipped. However, it is an old building and there were issues with this. Everytime someone ran water (from any unit), there was a loud noise in our unit from the pipes. Also, the windows are not in good condition, ie the master bedroom window was loose in the frame, and the wind created a loud banging noise that woke us. They are also single paned and outside noise was loud. There is construction happening on one side of the building which made it worse. Check in was very smooth. An email was sent with a code for the door. After this, communication became difficult. It was not clear who to talk to with after hours concerns, and the office was only open 9-5. We checked in around 7pm, and the bathroom sink was clogged, so this was an issue for us. Overall I feel the price is too high for the experience we had.
