We arrived late from a 5+ hour drive from Wiesbaden and were informed that we missed the check-in hours. I was not aware of this detail. There was an employee present to assist, but NO ONE is trying to hear something like that after 5 hours of driving. I am just saying that there may have been a better way to inform me. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was adequate. As a 6'1, 195lbs man, the shower left little room to reach around and scrub your back without taking out a door or something. There was not much to complain about the room aside from the 'fart pillows' on each bed. My wife and son called them that because as you lay your head down and push the air out, the smell is almost like flatulence. This is all for the room and it would be a high 4 or low 5 just for that, but it appears that the restaurant is often combined, so here goes. We did not take part in the breakfast, so our one encounter was for a dinner. My food was great! I ordered a mustard based schnitzel with potatoes; they were great. My wife ordered a special and was brought out a schnitzel as well. This wouldn't have been an issue if the waitress would have said "my bad" and returned with the correct order. She actually argued with my wife saying that my wife ordered the schnitzel. In the end, there is NOTHING that compares to the affordability of this property. Anything closer to Munich will quadruple the night price and likely not come with free parking. We would consider staying here again.

Wir haben nur 1 Nacht im Landhotel Wiedmann verbracht. Es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war für 3 Personen ausreichend gross. Wir fanden es sehr hellhörig. Ein Fliegengitter vor dem Fenster wäre wünschenswert. Das Frühstück war für 12€ ok. Ein Kaffeevollautomat wäre jedoch super. Der Hund durfte mit übernachten. Er durfte sogar mit in den Frühstücksraum. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Dafür ein riesen Lob. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt

Very traditional guesthouse in a quiet residential area. Easy parking. Room was basic but fine. Breakfast was ok. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant as it was shut (Mondays) but staff recommended a local alternative in walking distance which was helpful as not much else around locally. Charged extra € for an additional person despite having booked and paid for a comfort double room which was unexpected.

Zimmer war neu renoviert, das Personal freundlich, das Frühstück mega lecker und qualitativ, im Biergarten kann man gut essen. Hotel liegt an der Straße und den Verkehr hört man ein wenig. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, die Lage ganz in der Nähe vom Ammersee und Wörthsee ist wirklich super.

I stayed here for one night while travelling and must say it was a delightful discovery. Firstly, I received a genuinely friendly welcome, including my dog. The room was quiet, clean and spacious enough. The same goes for the bathroom. The hotel includes a restaurant and beer garden offering traditional Bavarian fare. The food was delicious. As for the surroundings, just 200 m from the hotels there are fields inviting for the walk. I will be happy to stay here again.

Check-in veloce, in camera confort. Letto comodo, tv grande con tanti canali, sky, (rainews unico italiano trovato). Wi-Fi debole. Bagno con doccia, lavabo piccolo. Buona colazione salato e dolce. Abbiamo mangiato una sera, buono il cibo locale. Proprietari gentili e disponibili, una grande famiglia! Parcheggio adiacente. Posizione vicino a stazione di Geltendorf, con treno o S, in 50 minuti sei a Monaco godendoti il paesaggio.

Ich habe eine Nacht auf einer Geschäftsreise im Hotel übernachtet. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und trotz meiner verspäteten Ankunft hat die Küche mir einen Salat vorbereitet. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ich war durchweg zufrieden . Bis zum nächsten mal.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster unmöglich. Die Gummidichtungen an der Duschkabine sollten erneuert werden. Der Teppichboden ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Unverständlich warum man renoviert und den drin lässt. Übernachtung ohne Frühstück aufm Land für den Preis happig. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus viel zu eng.

Hotel di campagna, situato in un piccolo comune a circa 50 km di distanza da Monaco, molto caratteristico tipico di una gasthaus. Camera e bagno grande, landhotel pulito, silenzioso con personale gentile. Un pò spartano, nella nostra camera non c'era il frigobar, ma è normale in un albergo con queste caratteristiche. L'unica pecca forse può essere la distanza dalle città (Monaco o Augsburg), ma se si ha la macchina per spostarsi o se vi piace vivere qualche giorno in tranquillità questo è il vostro albergo.

Very dated rooms but clean. Soundproofing poor so depending on your neighbours it is dependant how much of an issue this may be. Very hot and no air con or fans. Breakfast was really great, extensive selection.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen nett u. zuvorkommend, besonders, da zum Zeitpunkt meiner Ankunft gerade ein Notfall mit erforderlichem Rettungsdienst, innerhalb des Familienunternehmens eintrat. Trotz dieser emotionalen Umstände, einschliesslich dem späteren Versterben des Familienmitgliedes, bewahrte das gesamte Personal seine Fassung und alle setzten ihre Arbeit am Gast, in einer bewundernswerten, stoischen Ruhe fort. Das hat mich persönlich sehr beeindruckt. Ich möchte Ihnen meine Hochachtung, sowie mein aufrichtiges Beileid aussprechen! Sehr sauberes, komfortables u. großes Einzelzimmer. Leider lag das Zimmer an einer sehr verkehrsreichen, vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße. Der Schlaf war entsprechend getrübt. Zum Essen kann ich mich nur zum Frühstücks-Büffet äussern und das war reichlich, alles frisch und sehr gut! Für Durchreisende sehr zu empfehlen.

We arrived late from a 5+ hour drive from Wiesbaden and were informed that we missed the check-in hours. I was not aware of this detail. There was an employee present to assist, but NO ONE is trying to hear something like that after 5 hours of driving. I am just saying that there may have been a better way to inform me. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was adequate. As a 6'1, 195lbs man, the shower left little room to reach around and scrub your back without taking out a door or something. There was not much to complain about the room aside from the 'fart pillows' on each bed. My wife and son called them that because as you lay your head down and push the air out, the smell is almost like flatulence. This is all for the room and it would be a high 4 or low 5 just for that, but it appears that the restaurant is often combined, so here goes. We did not take part in the breakfast, so our one encounter was for a dinner. My food was great! I ordered a mustard based schnitzel with potatoes; they were great. My wife ordered a special and was brought out a schnitzel as well. This wouldn't have been an issue if the waitress would have said "my bad" and returned with the correct order. She actually argued with my wife saying that my wife ordered the schnitzel. In the end, there is NOTHING that compares to the affordability of this property. Anything closer to Munich will quadruple the night price and likely not come with free parking. We would consider staying here again.

Very traditional guesthouse in a quiet residential area. Easy parking. Room was basic but fine. Breakfast was ok. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant as it was shut (Mondays) but staff recommended a local alternative in walking distance which was helpful as not much else around locally. Charged extra € for an additional person despite having booked and paid for a comfort double room which was unexpected.

Highly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing genuine Bavarian gemütlichkeit in a convenient location near Munich. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable with modern bath fixtures. The food we ate in the gasthaus was fantastic, and if you're lucky enough to eat there on a Sunday you'll love the delicious desserts that are available, to include my favorite German kuchen, bienenstich. The Munchener schnitzel is worth a trip back by itself! The staff at this family-run gasthaus is very friendly, attentive, and are fluent in English for those of us that only speak a smattering of Deutsch. My wife, as well as the other couple we were traveling with, had no previous experience staying in a German gasthaus. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to extend our stay, however, there was no availability of rooms. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Landhotel and Gasthaus Wiedmann!

Camera e bagno grande, landhotel pulito, silenzioso con personale gentile. Un pò spartano, nella nostra camera non c'era il frigobar, ma è normale in un albergo con queste caratteristiche. L'unica pecca forse può essere la distanza dalle città (Monaco o Augsburg), ma se si ha la macchina per spostarsi o se vi piace vivere qualche giorno in tranquillità questo è il vostro albergo.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen nett u. zuvorkommend, besonders, da zum Zeitpunkt meiner Ankunft gerade ein Notfall mit erforderlichem Rettungsdienst, innerhalb des Familienunternehmens eintrat. Trotz dieser emotionalen Umstände, einschliesslich dem späteren Versterben des Familienmitgliedes, bewahrte das gesamte Personal seine Fassung und alle setzten ihre Arbeit am Gast, in einer bewundernswerten, stoischen Ruhe fort. Das hat mich persönlich sehr beeindruckt. Ich möchte Ihnen meine Hochachtung, sowie mein aufrichtiges Beileid aussprechen! Sehr sauberes, komfortables u. großes Einzelzimmer. Leider lag das Zimmer an einer sehr verkehrsreichen, vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße. Der Schlaf war entsprechend getrübt. Zum Essen kann ich mich nur zum Frühstücks-Büffet äussern und das war reichlich, alles frisch und sehr gut! Für Durchreisende sehr zu empfehlen.

Het ziet er allemaal heel netjes uit zowel Gasthof als kamers. Het personeel is ook vriendelijk. Het ontbijt vond ik, bovenop de kamerprijs, aan de dure kant. Jammer dat de werklui in het gebouw ernaast (in aanbouw) al voor 7 uur aan het timmeren slaan.

We got the impression that this hotel was almost like a farm setting, very rural and the photos give a ‘holiday village’ feel. The hotel is in a village on the main road. The rooms were very clean and the beds EXTRA comfortable! Not a lot to do in the area, but close to very nice villages and Ammersee.
