Great little room with AC and a TV. Showers and other facilities were very clean and easy to use. Roof top view was urban but quaint. The cafe was phenomenal and very nice prices, plus the free happy hour was cool. The staff were very polite and patient when trying to communicate.

Super easy check-in cause mobile check-in is available. Arrived early and availed of there checked luggage service while we went out to eat and came back during check-in time. One of us was able to use their co-working space to study and catch up with missed lessons while on vacation.

My husband and I visited from Canada and absolutely loved this hotel. It has a communal living feel to it, almost like a dorm, but we chose a room with 2 double beds put together and a private bathroom. Free water and reusable water bottle for use while in the hotel. There is a lounge area with 2 kitchens free to use and all you can drink beer for an hour every evening. The breakfasts were westernized but very good. It is in a quiet, pretty area yet there is plenty to do within walking distance, and it is just a 5 minute walk to the closest metro (subway) station. The staff speaks English very well and are helpful if you ask for recommendations on where to find something in particular. If we ever come back to Tokyo we will definitely return to this hotel.

Very good amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet location within a lovely neighbourhood. My only issue is that the restaurant and bar are closed for refurbishment, which I was not advised of. This was pretty disappointing.

The stay at Hotel GRAPHY turn out to be really comfortable and great!. Room was comfortable, cafe has great drink and food, welcome beer was very nice, great lounge area with interesting books, laundry area and roof top area with great views with very reasonable price! As the hotel mug cup says “meet locals and feel global” really says how this hotel feels. The hotel staff have great information on the local attractions, store and restaurants & bars. We took their suggested areas walk on their map and explored Nezu fully. Staffs are very friendly and attentive for everyone’s requests. We will be back definitely for our next Tokyo stay.

JR駅からは徒歩15分弱と少し距離はありますが、地下鉄駅からは5分未満の好立地です。値段が安い割にはドミトリーは綺麗でロッカーも非常に大きく、共用スペースも広く快適です。シャワールームに、体を冷やすための送風機が設置されている点もポイントが高いです。毎日のビール＆ナッツ無料サービスも実施されており、普通に買ったら1000円弱はする内容に思えます。スタッフの皆さんも大変のフレンドリーで礼儀も正しく、素晴らしい接客でした。

Very clean and well-run place; the dorm beds were comfortable and each had own power supply, light, large locker and curtain. Strong, hot showers and professional, helpful staff. Good A/C in dorms. Hairdryers available in bathrooms. Very good value breakfast at 1000yen. And of course, who could argue with an hour of free beer every night. Only about 15mins walk to Tokyo National Museum which was so good I spent 3 consecutive days there.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. We needed to Transfer our luggage to the new hotel and they did all the communication for us and was filling out the papers for the Yamato Luggage Delivery. Also our room and all the facilities were very clean.

Extremely clean room, great location - right next to Uguisudani station. Short walk to Ueno and Asakusa. Great food nearby and great amenities. First hotel during my first stay in Japan -- will definitely come back again. The staff was friendly, state of the room was clean and always comfortable.

Excellent location near the Zoo, Shrines, parks and transportation. Hotel is staffed with accommodating and friendly people. Room was clean, there were free laundry facilities and a decent cafe with beer HH. Common area furniture could use a good cleaning and room furniture was very worn.

The hotel's appearance and common areas both seem decent. The kitchen is completely equipped, which is nice. However, the bedroom is miserable. I stayed at the dorm for three days. I slept on a dirty bed sheet that made me itching. The pillow and the mattress are the worst. It didn't provide any support for your body. I felt like sleeping on the floor, and it was uncomfortable. I also thought the cleanliness might have been better. There are many people sharing the bathroom. It gets dirty quickly. As they claimed to be a hotel and with the amount of money I paid, the bedroom and bathroom quality could be better.

Bed is super comfortable. I slept well. I hope you can put curtain in between beds. I put my jacket so i wont see my roommate directly while lying. Have free welcome drink. Just the toilets and powder room can be cleaner. And if you can provide slippers as you have to walk barefoot or with shoes from the room to the toilets and lavatory.

The picture on the website is deceiving. It shows more room than we got. No place to put a suitcase or hang clothes. There were cockroaches spotted in my room. Breakfast was good and staff excellent. I paid almost $200 a day, which was more than quoted. I’ll find another place next time for the amount I paid.

Lots of little places to eat nearby but food in hotel delicious as well. Staff is helpful and speaks English.

Room appears to be a room room created out of two rooms, oddly planned with a bathroom that felt more like an RV style bathroom. Toilets bidet functions didn’t work. The worst part was the mini split vac temperature system. The room was cold when we got there and was still could hours later and into the night. They did come in and raise the temps a little, but unit was inadequate or at least felt underpowered. Breakfast however was fabulous and service great also.

Bed was very hard and I could feel the planking in the center. I’ve stayed a previous time and bed was perfect. Everything else is clean and great flow energy to the place. Conducive to a relaxing time or a bit more social.

Room side was good except the bathroom was tight and had a step above the floor which caused inconvenience for every access, especially when you have children. Room Amenities were basic but they have an extensive shared area for TV, entertainment and pantry space if needed. Staffs were helpful. Location situated in local residential area, close to Zoo and Keisei station but not to JR Ueno station.

Room side was good except the bathroom was tight and had a step above the floor which caused inconvenience for every access, especially when you have children. My stay at the Graphy Nezu was an excellent one. The staff understand English and are always willing to help. Their dining options aren’t large in number but they are delicious! Beds are hard by western standards so be prepared. I will happily be staying here again in the future!

The front desk and lobby are very pretty. The private bedroom looks good upon entering. The unfortunate issue is the step down from the bathroom as it is elevated higher than the bedroom. There is no grip on the floor nor anything to grab when stepping down. Twisted my ankle when I stepped down the first night. The pillows also smelled like someone’s old sweat and the bed was very hard. Despite my partner and me liking hard beds. Otherwise it was an okay stay. A short walk to Nezu station as well.

The property always smells like greasy meaty burger, especially during mealtime. The smell goes to rooms. Too strong to breath. Not recommended for vegans or vegetarians. Also the bed is too short, even for a 165cm woman. Won't stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. The staff spoke English quite well and were very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed the Happy Hour each evening. The rooms were comfortable even though smaller than what we are used to in America. We will definitely return on our next visit to Japan.

This was my first trip to Tokyo, and I really enjoyed staying here. At first, I thought the location might be a bit far from the city center, but it was actually very easy and convenient to get here by subway. I didn’t feel any inconvenience at all. The prices were very reasonable, and the beer they serve in the evening was absolutely amazing — a perfect way to relax after a long day. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. At first, I thought the location might be a bit far from the city center, but it was actually very easy and convenient to get here by subway. I didn’t feel any inconvenience at all. This hotel is a tourist trap. The prices were high when I booked it and was immediately cut in half after I left. One night I found a flying insect behind the TV set and I have never encounter this in any hotel. It was resolved eventually. Also, it is basic knowledge that when you put the tag on the door handle outside, the staff will come in and make the room. But they come in regardless of whether it’s placed outside or not. At least their service attitude is ok, otherwise I would probably give them a one star.

This is the last place I’ll stay on my 3 week Japan trip, but it I’d known about it I would have moved around less. I’m writing this as I have their delicious (intercontinental) breakfast given I extended my stay from 1 night to 3. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with old architecture. If looking for izakayas or bars or partying look elsewhere. That said the common area is comfortable and social and the staff great. I made friends here. Went on walks, grabbed dinner, exchanged tips with fellow travelers. You won’t spend as much time in your room or bed here but you also might not leave the hotel as much it’s so easy lounge around. Great coworking vibe. It’s close to other historical neighborhoods and expansive and pretty Ueno park too. I’ll likely make this my first stop next trip. Perhaps my only. My only complaints: 1) mattress is thin and lumpy / hard. Door to shared room and lockers are metal so make for noise entry and exit.

Easy walk to Nezu Station. 10 minute cab ride to Ueno Station. Twin rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed with hair dryer, soaps, tea kettle and refrigerator. Great laundry facilities. Lots of little places to eat nearby but food in hotel delicious as well. Staff is helpful and speaks English.

Everything was wonderful. The staff spoke English quite well and were very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed the Happy Hour each evening. The rooms were comfortable even though smaller than what we are used to in America. We will definitely return on our next visit to Japan.

Very good amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet location within a lovely neighbourhood. My only issue is that the restaurant and bar are closed for refurbishment, which I was not advised of. This was pretty disappointing.

My stay at the Graphy Nezu was an excellent one. The staff understand English and are always willing to help. Their dining options aren’t large in number but they are delicious! Beds are hard by western standards so be prepared. I will happily be staying here again in the future!

The property always smells like greasy meaty burger, especially during mealtime. The smell goes to rooms. Too strong to breath. Not recommended for vegans or vegetarians. Also the bed is too short, even for a 165cm woman. Won't stay here again.

We loved exploring Ueno Park and all of the restaurants right by the train station. We were also close to the lotus pond, the zoo, etc, and the immediate area was really beautiful and peaceful! We liked leaving the bustle of the touristy areas for quiet Yenesen. Happy hour was great (we made sure to be back for free beers every evening) and breakfast was inexpensive and good. Coffee was also great!

Very clean and well-run place; the dorm beds were comfortable and each had own power supply, light, large locker and curtain. Strong, hot showers and professional, helpful staff. Good A/C in dorms. Hairdryers available in bathrooms. Very good value breakfast at 1000yen. And of course, who could argue with an hour of free beer every night. Only about 15mins walk to Tokyo National Museum which was so good I spent 3 consecutive days there.

Graphy Nezu Hotel has outstanding staff! They’re very helpful and kind and knowledgeable. We felt really good taken care of and I left with a big smile. Thank you! The hotel has hostel vibes, with a great lounge area and different types of rooms to accommodate your need. They also have a rooftop which we visited in the mornings to great Tokyo good morning :’) Such a lovely view and underrated feature of the hotel. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds are on the harder side and personally that doesn’t fit us, but we still slept okay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The common areas, bathrooms, and shared kitchen were always clean and well organized. I was especially impressed by how clean the hostel was overall—I hardly ever saw any trash or dust. The housekeeping staff also did a great job keeping the rooms tidy, so it was always nice to come back to my room after going out. Although people may expect some inconveniences when staying in a hostel, I honestly didn’t experience any during my stay. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well managed. I would definitely recommend it.

A surprise hidden gem! We stayed in a King Theater room and it was absolutely lovely. Spacious, comfortable with a huuuge bed and cool amenities (although we didn't use the projector much... we're in Tokyo!) and a laid back vibe. The free beer daily in the downstairs bar is a lovely touch. The cafe also makes a decent coffee! My only complaint is that you will be doing a fair bit of walking if you're on public transport - it's about 15 mins from Ueno station and maybe 10 from Nezu on the Chiyoda line, and it's easy to get turned around in the backstreets. The area is very pleasant though. I wished I had booked longer here - the value for money is fantastic.
