Check in was quick and easy as we took a water taxi to the door. I emailed hotel in advance and they had everything arranged. The breakfast buffet was one of best we have ever had. Many buffet options (hot and cold) and made to order in addition! Every staff member was kind and helpful! We liked the location as it wasn’t so crowded and busy. Venice was beautiful and we are so happy we stayed here. Only minor problem we had was hot water in shower wasn’t plentiful. I asked at front and they repaired right away. Still wasn’t super hot but not an issue. Also bathroom had 2 sinks which was nice! I loved hearing the church bells in the morning! Area was safe and the rooms felt super private. Also lovely courtyard! Highly recommend!

The property was overall great. A little hard getting to if you take the Alliguna water taxi because the stop the hotel suggest they don’t stop there so a lot of bridges before u get to hotel which was challenging with luggage. I had the 2bedroom canal view room. Yes it’s a canal view but no boats really go by only delivery’s or construction. Also it’s not a true two bedroom just two hotel room with a connecting door and you share a bathroom. Shower lights up cool and flows from ceiling or handheld. Room was nice size with high ceilings. So the picture you see with 2 green bed frames that the beds for this room. There is no living room. TVs are inside mirrors pretty cool. One room has a window with canal view and other has balcony with canal view.Breakfast buffet was great a lot of food options freshly squeezed juice. I even saw wine. They really try be 5 star here with their service. I left my wallet in the safe and yes I paid to get shipped to me but I least they found it for me Thanks! Lightning low in the room so just make sure you get all your things and you need key in to run the lights. Elevator you had hold the button the whole time but actually not bad. We mostly used stairs because we were on 1st floor. Elevator small so it fits maybe 3 or 4. I would definitely stay here again enjoy your stay. Also I got wine on check in for being a silver member nice touch.

The room definitely didn’t look as nice as the pictures and was dated. The room smelled like B.O. and there were noticeable stains (bodily fluids?) on the chair and ottoman cushions. The headboard padding had stains on both sides in the shape of a torso, from the many guests that leaned against the padding and left their body oils over the years. Bed was not a King but two twins put together. Stains on the white window coverings were red to brown, from who knows what. The shower was like a phone booth with a giant rainfall showerhead in the ceiling that couldn’t be adjusted so you had to contort your body to rinse certain areas. Also walls were pretty thin and could hear the people on the next room talking and also walking by outside the windows. Needed an iron/ironing board and had to request it and use it in the common area because it wasn’t allowed in the room. The iron leaked and I gave up trying to iron because my clothes were getting soaked. Now for the good…staff was super friendly, breakfast was good with decent selection, location was good, and was able to board a water taxi to the airport right out front. I don’t know how our room choice got a 9.4 rating because it was far from it. I feel like I was deceived by Expedia on this and also overheard two other guests complaining about room size and lack of view from the room despite the description on the website. I feel like the ratings/reviews on Expedia were deceptive and didn’t represent what we got at the hotel.

This beautiful old Palazzetto is my home away from home. The wonderful staff always make me feel at home. The housekeeping is next level and the breakfast buffet is always delicious and generously served by happy friendly staff. I’ll be back :)

We really liked the property in general and it was a great location. The downside for us was the noise, we could hear everything outside (being a corner room we had two streets just outside out room) and also inside, we could hear the people in the room opposite talking/watching TV and as soon as breakfast started we were awake and could hear everyone in there.

The hotel felt more like an upmarket guest house than a hotel: quaint and oozing charm. Pros: great location near Grand Canal vaporetto stop and away from the mass crowds of San Marco, peaceful area but plenty of choice of local restaurants, very quiet hotel, beautiful courtyard garden, wonderfully warm helpful staff, clean comfortable room, fabulous breakfast including gluten-free (freshly-squeezed orange juice, freshly-cooked scrambled eggs on demand, smoked salmon, cheeses, meats, tomatoes, fresh fruit, gluten-free bread, and great coffees) and with gluten (waffles, crepes, and great great cake selection). Cons: bed was a bit hard, no indoor lounge (though the pretty courtyard garden had comfortable seating and was all we needed at this time of year). We will definitely be back - thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is in a great location close to public transportation, restaurants and within 12 minutes of the Roma plaza, 20-25 from San Marco plaza. It’s clean, staff are friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast has all you need, eggs, smoked salmon, cheese, pastries, tartes, fruits and continental breakfast. Coffee is excellent too. Will recommend.

This hotel is in a great neighborhood in Venice. Everything you might want to do is easily walked to but the vaporetto stop is close by and water taxi can come right up to the front door if you need one. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast amazing.
