I stayed at the Bear River Casino Resort because my son’s soccer team was playing in a tournament in a nearby town, I would not choose this resort for future games for several reasons. The first is that this hotel is attached to a casino. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and we were woken up both nights to the sound of drunk guests shouting in the hallway. The room we had was a nice size but in a slightly shabby state of repair. There was no room refresh during our stay. We were given a $7 per person voucher for breakfast at the restaurant downstairs which we used on the first morning. The restaurant was understaffed, it took us 45 minutes to be seated and another hour to get our food. The food was mediocre at best and they got our order wrong. We decided to skip the hotel breakfast the next day and ate at a nearby restaurant instead. The positives of this hotel was that the staff was nice, and the shower in the bathroom was nice. Overall, I do not think our experience was worth the price we paid for our stay, and I would not stay here again.

Very loud, little to no sound proofing. Don't expect to get any sleep. Way overpriced for a motel 6 experience.

We stayed here during our 20th wedding anniversary trip to California, and it was such a great experience! The facility was clean, beautiful, and had a really fun atmosphere. The staff was absolutely amazing — everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby redwoods and the California coast, which made it an excellent home base for our trip. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and relax, enjoy the casino, and unwind. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Everyone was pleasant the fire alarms were a nuisance for two days. The restaurant dinner wasn’t the greatest.
