Lovely hostel the only issue was that I had booked and paid for a cooked breakfast to eat before our Nevis climb...when we arrived the hotel informed me that they only had cereal and toast .

What a fantastic place, and not just for youths! The hostel is located at the foot of Ben Nevis with hiking trails and the River Nevis just outside. Our private room was clean and comfortable, and had a view of the mountain which we absolutely loved. The only downside to having floorboards was that any movement both in and out of the room created a lot of noise. The ensuite was equally clean but very compact. Sheets and towels are provided for private rooms but remember to bring your own soap and shampoo. The shared kitchen was excellent and well managed, and the common areas cosy. Staff were friendly too. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and family!

Nice staff and great joint facilities. The room had the heat turned off on arrival and it took almost 24 to heat up. The breakfast was a bit sad.

Fantastic location as base for exploration up Ben Nevis and surrounding trails. Very clean and modern facilities, bright and spacious rooms. Great for keeping heavy hiking packs and duffel bags
