What a lovely stay at the Water's Country House. Our three children said this was by far their favorite place in Ireland! We all loved the country quiet, starry skies, and the occasional neighbor "moo!" We sat by the fire in the house drawing room and played cards at night. We will be back!

If you are looking for old-world charm, this is the place! You cannot beat the charm, or the lovely couple who own the property. There is even a fresh spring fountain that the property was built around. The most delicious and pure spring water ever! The property is beyond gorgeous, as are the views! We would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place to stay. We had three rooms for our group of 5. A room with two twins, a room with a king and one of the suites. The suite is AMAZING. The furnishings, decorations, linens and everything were perfect. The owners are just absolutely amazing. There are free coffee, tea stations. Three sitting rooms with chess, fireplaces and TVs. Water pressure was great and super hot water. Also the natural spring that you fill your water container for your room was so unique. Breakfast was the best we've had so far. I could just go on and on. If your anywhere near the cliffs and need somewhere to stay, this is the place.

There are a couple of cozy lounge areas, and an honour system bar for guests to enjoy. The room was comfortable and had its own bathroom with small shower. Breakfast was very nice, with hot options made to order, and a continental buffet as well. The area is quite scenic. The proprietor’s were very friendly, welcoming and friendly. If you are planning to travel from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher, it is a great place to stay to get an earlier arrival at the Cliffs in the morning and beat the crowds.

This place was one of a kind. The house was old, well kept, comfortable and just stunning. The owners were absolutely wonderful, kind and easy to talk to. The grounds were well kept and peaceful. It is the perfect place to relax and write or read a book. The natural springs were a nice surprise and the water was cold, clear and fresh tasting. We will be going back and highly recommend this place.

This is a lovely place tucked out in the country. The owner, Wolfgang, greeted us on arrival and gave a good tour of the place and to our room. It is an old house so the wood is dark giving it and older look but everything is clean and well kept. Our room was small but adequate. The bed is firm and linens are soft. If you use a blow dryer you will need to bring your own as well as a plug converter. There is a plug strip on one side of the bed that accepts American plugs. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of options. The grounds around are beautiful as this is also a retreat center. Overall it was a very nice stay and good value.

This was without a doubt one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Everything was very straight-forward with check-in and check-out. It is a little off of the beaten path, but that was exactly what we were looking for. Wilhelm, one of the owners, personally greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and showed us to our rooms. He also welcomed us to breakfast, took our orders and delivered our food. He is very proud of his establishment! It is close to several tourist attractions (Poulnabrone Dolmen, Ailwee Caves and Newtown Castle).

One word: MAGICAL! This was our first trip to Ireland and this was our FAVORITE stay!! Our hosts Maria and Wolfgang are natural hosts and couldn't have made our stay any better or make us feel more welcome! The Full Irish Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland, it was so nice to visit with the hosts and hear a bit about the location and wonderful suggestion for dinner. This hotel is absolutely nothing at all like it is advertised. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, there is no wifi or cell service on most areas of the property, and the hotel staff (apart from the nice man at breakfast) is unhelpful and quite cold. Would not recommend staying here unless you have little to no plans to travel around the area, as it is not located centrally to anything, and is quite uncomfortable at night.
