This was a vacation within the vacation! What a lovely spot and every bit of it is comfortable, beautiful and relaxing. I could easily have spent days just sitting in all the various garden spaces. The bed was luxurious and comfortable and there was plenty of good coffee available in the room. Easy walk to the plaza too. We tried the brunch one day and it was delicious. This will be my place to stay in Santa Fe from now on.

We love the beds. We always sleep well here. Parking is easy just follow the directions. You can walk to old town and the train station area. The bathrooms need a little up dating. The brunch is delicious. Casa Culinaria is very peaceful and relaxing.

Great location. (Well, nothing is that far away in Santa Fe...except Museum Hill.) The guest rooms are scattered around a brick walking path with places to sit and relax. This place would be really gorgeous later in spring and in the summer when everything is blooming. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Missing in the Don Diego room was any surface on which one could perch a laptop or use as a desk. The gas fireplace was a lovely touch but the thermostat to control it was located on the wall behind the fireplace, so controlling the heat was a bit of a challenge as the warm air didn't seem to reach the thermostat. It felt like the thermostat had a mind of its own, although we tried to set it for our comfort. Still, it did its job. The gourmet breakfast is pricey, unique and delicious. The owners a true foodies who care about what they serve and how they serve it. Truly delightful!

A great location in a nice neighborhood very close to the Plaza and galleries and all the downtown sights. The entire property is fenced and landscaped with sitting areas and pretty lighting throughout. Our room was amazing, elegant, well-appointed (and a very gracious upgrade from the one we had requested). Any room here would be perfect, I'm sure, because it would offer access to the secluded courtyard that beautifully meanders around and between the buildings. We can't wait to come back during the warmer months and take advantage of all the inviting outdoor spaces.

We booked a room here on the last night of our 2 week driving tour of Colorado and New Mexico prior to driving back to Houston. There was plenty of parking and the block of rooms in this charming boutique hotel were surrounded by lovely gardens and multiple small seating areas. (Perhaps because of recent rains, there were no cushions to sit upon that would have made it more comfortable to sit outside in the lovely evening weather.) After the 3 pm check-in time, you can find your room name, a map and the room door key code in an envelope on the office door. The room was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, nice amenities in the bathroom, and lovely furnishings reflecting the old Mexican/Indian heritage of the area. It is located close to downtown so is quite convenient for touring this beautiful city. We splurged on the fabulous healthy "gourmet brunch" prepared by the owner Carolina, served on the patio in the garden on a beautifully set table. I took off a star due the lack of communication with the office. We couldn't get confirmation of our brunch reservations (we got no reply to email or phone messages). Also, we were asked to sign an affidavit agreeing to pay exorbitant fees if any damage/theft etc. occurred to the room furnishings, or if the room was left "trashed". (I did not feel comfortable signing a unilateral document like that so didn't.)

Excellent property, our room was lovely, well appointed, and very comfortable. It was a joy to come in and have a warm fire and beautiful room waiting for us. The unique decor amd comfortable furnishings were so luxurious. We had great communication prior to our arrival about what to expect, how to check in and even an offer for brunch the next day. We easily walked down to the plaza for dinner. I cant wait to return to Santa Fe since i now know exactly where I want to stay!

Wow! We enjoyed every minute at Casa Culinaria. The location is walkable to the Plaza and to Canyon Street. The room was so comfortable! Wonderful pillows and sheets and towels. The grounds are beautiful. But the best is the four course breakfast. The best breakfast we have ever had in all of our travels in the US and abroad. The owner and chef develops a menu fit for royalty. Each morning is different. The presentation is as inspiring as the food.

Cute place. Very nice room and clean. Can't comment on staff as we arrived late (around 6pm) but spoke to someone on the phone who gave us directions as to how to get in, where to park, codes, etc. Didn't see staff when we left. Checkout time is 10am as opposed to 11am in most hotels. Not sure if they provide breakfast as we didn't see anyone or much activity when we left at 10am. Would probably stay at a hotel next time with more amenities and closer to shops and restaurants.

We only stayed one night but we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The location was fantastic, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the coffee in the room was really good. I’d highly recommend staying here.

So well run. Grounds are amazing with so many edible plants used by the chef when preparing her delicious gourmet brunch. Highly recommend if looking for a complete experience in a boutique hotel combining excellent spacious rooms, each with pieces of the owners history, a wonderful gourmet brunch, beautiful grounds, and only 10 minutes from the Plaza. We will be back!

well maintained and decorated. Coffee in the room was the best of all hotels we have stayed. Housekeeping was great. This being said, we stayed in the Don Gaspar room and there was no desk or table top to put the coffee cup on. The 2 chairs were against the wall and had no area to put a drink. Morning coffee, while great had to be held as ther ws no where to rest it. I was looking for ice and for directions and of the 4 staff I encountered, no one spoke any English. For example, to get ice I went and found an ice bucket and showed it to the person in the kitchen and she finally understood.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Culinara. Absolutely beautiful property, decorated with attention to every detail. Clean, easy parking and walking distance to all. Next time I visit Santa Fe, I would love to stay there again. Only downside, I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the breakfast.

Beautiful place walking distance to downtown plaza. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in. It was just one night and we had to leave early to get to our final destination. I will be back and will definitely linger here longer. Thanks for the upgrade! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

The property was beautiful, the room very nice and cozy and the decoration was great. Just a couple of things were not ok, the heater made a horrible noise every time it turned on and off so we could not sleep well, we only saw the lady in the front office when we arrive and the day we had the reservation for the brunch because she was also the waiter that served our breakfast. We asked for and iron & they did not have any available in the property. The common areas were closed and the brunch advertised was far from the one we were served, especially because the main dish was not even breakfast, it was this very spicy tacos. The food was tasty but it was not worth the $25 per person charged for the brunch.

We love the beds. We always sleep well here. Parking is easy just follow the directions. You can walk to old town and the train station area. The bathrooms need a little up dating. The brunch is delicious. Casa Culinaria is very peaceful and relaxing.

Great location. (Well, nothing is that far away in Santa Fe...except Museum Hill.) The guest rooms are scattered around a brick walking path with places to sit and relax. This place would be really gorgeous later in spring and in the summer when everything is blooming. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Missing in the Don Diego room was any surface on which one could perch a laptop or use as a desk. The gas fireplace was a lovely touch but the thermostat to control it was located on the wall behind the fireplace, so controlling the heat was a bit of a challenge as the warm air didn't seem to reach the thermostat. It felt like the thermostat had a mind of its own, although we tried to set it for our comfort. Still, it did its job. The gourmet breakfast is pricey, unique and delicious. The owners a true foodies who care about what they serve and how they serve it. Truly delightful!

Wow! We enjoyed every minute at Casa Culinaria. The location is walkable to the Plaza and to Canyon Street. The room was so comfortable! Wonderful pillows and sheets and towels. The grounds are beautiful. But the best is the four course breakfast. The best breakfast we have ever had in all of our travels in the US and abroad. The owner and chef develops a menu fit for royalty. Each morning is different. The presentation is as inspiring as the food.

Manuel was excellent— a very gracious host. The place was super cute, bed was comfortable, and a short walk (5-10 minutes) into the main square of Santa Fe. We will be coming here again if we come back to Santa Fe!

Rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Grounds and gardens are very nice. Will not recommend this hotel for family with little children. Hotel does not have a reception desk. The only communication is available for customers is to contact the owner.

The property is beautiful, the Aspen Suite had all the amenities we needed An extra bonus was the opportunity to have a fabulous culinary experinece that rivalled all of the James Beard award winning restaurants we went to in Santa Fe. The available brunch is a must! Emanuel and his wife were great hosts, answered all of our questions, were very knowledgeable of the Santa Fe area and helped us plan our days. Definitely going back

We booked a room here on the last night of our 2 week driving tour of Colorado and New Mexico prior to driving back to Houston. There was plenty of parking and the block of rooms in this charming boutique hotel were surrounded by lovely gardens and multiple small seating areas. (Perhaps because of recent rains, there were no cushions to sit upon that would have made it more comfortable to sit outside in the lovely evening weather.) After the 3 pm check-in time, you can find your room name, a map and the room door key code in an envelope on the office door. The room was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, nice amenities in the bathroom, and lovely furnishings reflecting the old Mexican/Indian heritage of the area. It is located close to downtown so is quite convenient for touring this beautiful city. We splurged on the fabulous healthy "gourmet brunch" prepared by the owner Carolina, served on the patio in the garden on a beautifully set table. I took off a star due the lack of communication with the office. We couldn't get confirmation of our brunch reservations (we got no reply to email or phone messages). Also, we were asked to sign an affidavit agreeing to pay exorbitant fees if any damage/theft etc. occurred to the room furnishings, or if the room was left "trashed". (I did not feel comfortable signing a unilateral document like that so didn't.)

We loved the property. It is a unique boutique establishment that is clearly decorated and maintained with care (including all of the little touches in both the rooms and in the gardens). We just wished that management were more hospitable. They can come across, intentionally or not, as a little brusque, if not rude. Without that, five stars for sure.

Beautiful place walking distance to downtown plaza. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in. It was just one night and we had to leave early to get to our final destination. I will be back and will definitely linger here longer. Thanks for the upgrade! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

A great location in a nice neighborhood very close to the Plaza and galleries and all the downtown sights. The entire property is fenced and landscaped with sitting areas and pretty lighting throughout. Our room was amazing, elegant, well-appointed (and a very gracious upgrade from the one we had requested). Any room here would be perfect, I'm sure, because it would offer access to the secluded courtyard that beautifully meanders around and between the buildings. We can't wait to come back during the warmer months and take advantage of all the inviting outdoor spaces.

I cannot believe I have been coming to Sante Fe for years and it took me this long to find Casa Culinaria. It was refined, comfortable, fireplace in the room, and AMAZING breakfast. the breakfast alone was worth the stay. Room was impeccable .

For example, I moved the flower vase so I could see the person next to me and the owner moved it back. Location is good and historic plaza and shopping are near and within walking distance. Parking is easy.

This is a beautiful and comfortable spot. We came for one night and liked it so much that we extended to two nights. Make sure you book the optional breakfast brunch as it is a fabulous experience. Wonderful shops, galleries, and restaurants are within walking distance.

Highlight of my trip. Unexpected. A string of beautifully remodeled and tastefully decorated homes with brick pathways, covered garden and both inside and outside seating areas. The brunch was the best meal I’ve had in New Mexico and the owners are warm and gracious. I will be staying here again.

Paying $25 per person to “feast” on half a slice of dried up toast is highway robbery! Casa culinaria should stop offering that breakfast package and focus on just welcoming guests in their beautiful property. The breakfast was a hard fail!
