It was basic, but very clean and friendly reception. Wish there was an ice machine. Changed room choice because of parking lot renovation. Hope that finishes soon. Very good value for the price!

Check-in went very quickly. The property seemed recently renovated. Spacious bathroom. Bedroom a bit crowded with the very comfortable king-size bed. No desk. Made do with a very attractive, small, round stand. Room could use twice as much space to hang clothes and a "luggage rack" to set suitcase on. Spent some time hanging clothes for next day and putting luggage back in van. Parking very convenient next to walk in room. Internet speed very fast! TV good.

For the price this is hands down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The check in was easy. It was so clean and didn’t smell. Parking and our safety was perfect. Checkout was a breeze.

Wide parking spaces. Immaculately clean bedroom & bathroom. Soft sheets & warm covers. Firm beds with 3 pillows for each bed. HVAC sufficient. TV, microwave and mini-frig all worked well. Personnel warm & welcoming. A bargain compared to the corporate hotels. I will be back.

What a hidden gem!! Just a block off of the main drag, but the room was updated and spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the staff friendly. This will be on our "stay here again" list!

This property was redone but got sick from spray from the day they gave us room same day!!!! Then roaches scattered in bathroom were even in folded up towels even smelled terrible needs to be torn down and rebuilt

Checkout time was 10:00 am Cost for queen bed $171.51 The check in counter was chest high cordoned off like a crime prevention counter. You pass your license through a little slot under the glass. When we opened the door, we smelled something but I wasn’t exactly sure what it was. The next morning, we think it’s mildew. The room looked clean. The floor not so much. It looks like a very old hotel that has been refurbished. The outside looks really nice. The room has new siding on the walls. Ceiling looks like plaster and you can see seams where the sheets connect. Looks painted but old. The trim is old. The windows are old and dated. The trim is painted but old and ruff looking. Lamp is very old. Nothing will stay plugged in to outlets, they are loose. The window air conditioner is loud and very old. It was cool outside so we shut it off. There is no table or a chair. No bathroom fan. No hair dryer. I would not stay here again. I only stayed here because everything else was booked. There is no way this hotel is a four out of five rating. Maybe four out of 10. When I got in the shower after my wife, I had been walking barefoot on the carpet. When my feet hit the wet tub, black stuff came off my feet. Never had that happen in my 68 years of traveling.

Small room. No desk. No closet (open hanger area). Recently remodeled bathroom. Some traffic noise, but I use a white noise generator on my phone, which helped. Just stayed overnight. It was fine, but a very basic motel. Not a huge number of options in the area, but it was clean and the price was good.

Courteous staff, comfortable bed. Not the cleanest and the bathroom flooded due to a plumbing issue. Based off the phitos I thought the room would be set up more like a suite. It is not. Just a longer room with a couch/pullout bed.

It's been a long time since we stayed and a true motel and was pleasantly surprised at this property and the room. The room was very clean and quite obvious that it had been recently renovated. Parking close to the room was a real bonus, making it very easy to move luggage in and out of the room. We were also impressed with how well lit the parking area was from the safety viewpoint. The only negative was the room's climate control. To maintain climate(heat in this case), required the fan to run constantly, which was a bit noisy while trying to sleep. In addition, the unit was a bit small for the room, because the bathroom area(furthest area away from heat source) was noticeably cooler than the rest of the room.

8.8 out of 10 review on Hotels.com was very deceptive. I would guess the motel to be 75 years old with little to no updates in all that time. There was a connecting door to the room next to us through which we could hear the neighbors entire conversation all evening. One positive, the beds were very comfortable.

The room that we stayed in the heater unit fan was extremely noisy. Did not get much sleep. other than that, it was a good room for a good price comfortable stay had no problem staying here. I would stay again as long as my heater fan is not noisy.

Decent for the price. Room 101 was small/tight but clean. Bathroom never got cool with the AC running and the door opened right into the bed so hard to leave it open to get cool air. Had a microwave & fridge. Bed-B. Pillows-C. Breakfast was prepackaged snacks, cereal, apples, bananas, yogurt, coffee and juice. Owner not at all friendly.

I didn’t even stay there. Thank god I friends at the party that allowed me to stay at their house. $80 down the drain. I was told by everyone that it was a sex/drug den. They painted over the debauchery. Sadly paint and upgraded fixtures do not mask the smell of dank and musty bad choices. If you fear staying in a place that looks like it harbors the worst people in town, don’t fall for the pretty pics and false reviews like I did. I knew it was a mistake to book a motel… never again! The owner didn’t even offer to discount a room that I used only to change my clothes. That told me everything I needed to know.

The blankets and carpet was extremely soft water pressure was perfect my issues with the stay was the ac kept kicking off leaving it extremely hot in the room and the owner wasn’t the nicest he charged extra just for having a baby in the room he is very strict and will charge you extra if he finds out another person was there even if they didn’t stay

Pleasantly surprised! I was not expecting much from this hotel for the price but it was a very convenient location so I went for it. It smelled like fresh paint very clean very cute room setup. We did have to request additional pillows and towels but was accommodated quickly.

Check in was easy. Not necessarily overly friendly but easy. There was no secondary lock on the room door, just one knob handle lock. No deadbolt or chain lock for security when in the room. The beds were in good condition and it was pretty clean in the room. I like that they had a refrigerator and a microwave as well as a hair dryer to use. We were offered fresh towels, daily, but no housekeeping was done. They gave us trash bags as well. We stuck our towels and trash outside and they’d pick it up. We did find one cockroach in our sink the second night we were there. We stayed a total of 3 (was going to be 4 decided to leave our event and drive back home that night) so some housekeeping would have been nice. It was generally pretty quiet and easy to get to. A/C worked well and so did the blackout curtains. I didn’t use any property amenities. There was a gas station right next door I frequented which was convenient. Check out was easy as well, I just gave them my key and we left.

My wife and I were on our first family trip with our 15mo and were breaking up the long drive. Luckily we found Campbell's. The price was right and so was the service. Everyone working there were great. I chatted with Gary (I think that was his name) at check in and realized he had family back in the town we lived in, so it made us feel even more comfortable there. We got a room with a king-size bed and a nice litte pull out couch. Everything was clean and tidy. The heater worked well. The bathroom was clean and the shower had nice hot water and the pressure was good. Wifi was fast and free, and the icebox was cold.. Easy on/off from the highway, with lots of food/gas staions around for snacks. The neighborhood is quiet too. We felt very safe here! Great experience, and will be back the next time we're driving through!

We don't know the town or area well so we were a little nervous about where to stay. We just stayed one night but it was perfect! Easy check in. Love the ease of getting into the room from parking (right in front of your room). The room was very very clean. We were comfortable and slept well. So glad we chose this motel.

I had a lovely experience! There were hotel options right off expressway but Campbell's Motel felt cozy. I had a strong positive feeling about the motel and I like supporting small businesses, that is why I chose Campbell's Motel. Photos of room on website were accurate. Check-in was quick and easy, I arrived late, after 9PM. I felt safe, area was quiet. Staff was kind and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Small frig and microwave were available. It does appear that it had recently been remodeled and updated and they did a wonderful job. Location is just couple miles off expressway which is worth price, quality and comfort. I definitely recommend.
I had a lovely experience! There were hotel options right off expressway but Campbell's Motel felt cozy. I had a strong positive feeling about the motel and I like supporting small businesses, that is why I chose Campbell's Motel. Photos of room on website were accurate. Check-in was quick and easy, I arrived late, after 9PM. I felt safe, area was quiet. Staff was kind and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Small frig and microwave were available. It does appear that it had recently been remodeled and updated and they did a wonderful job. Simple, clean and comfortable. If you need a reasonable accommodations not far from Louisville, this is the place. Just 3 minutes off the highway, lots of restaurants nearby. You will find a little road noise from state route traffic, but nothing excessive.

Breakfast had two types of cereal, milk, orange juice, water, bananas,apples, yogurts, and various packaged pastries.

Refurbished independent inn. Quiet and convenient. It's a bit of an overstatement to say that breakfast is included. Coffee, a banana and packaged breakfast cake is a little less than I expected. Nonetheless, for the price, it was a great stay. The room was small but workable. Clean and efficient with a parking out the front door. I'll be back.

What a hidden gem!! Just a block off of the main drag, but the room was updated and spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the staff friendly. This will be on our "stay here again" list!
