We used this hotel because we were planning to spend a lot of time in New York and wanted to do so affordably. In addition, we wanted to return to a room with space so we can relax and rest comfortably. This hotel made both possible. The train to New York is about a mile away and direct to Penn Station in New York. The hotel has free parking and a hot breakfast which saves money and time. The room had shower gel, shampoo, plates, mugs, and glasses. Check out is at 11 AM which allowed us to sleep in. Staff was friendly and provide a conscientious service.

It’s unfortunate that their website shows pictures of a pool and with the amenities we were hoping to swim there. But the pool was closed. The website should state this. It is misleading.

No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We waited for awhile until trying to find a restroom to use there was none to use outside of the room and no one to check us into the room. When trying to find a restroom we found the woman that was supposed to check us in coming out of a restroom. She rudely told us we couldn't use that restroom then continued to make a smart remark when i asked if she was the person meant to be at the front desk and why there where no signs saying we couldn't use the bathroom. The building was under construction so we had to go around the building to get to the elevators.

Found few ants in the room. Lots of those ant were close to head board of the bed. Then found some old food melted sticky stuff under bed frame. Front desk was notified immediately but the did not do anything, no one came to clean up dirty food mess theft by previous guests. Disappointing

hotel is ant infested, switched rooms and the other room still had ants. I was told there was no housekeeping on weekends?? Went to front desk to get tissue and was told they didn’t have any. I was given paper towels and a kleenex box. Do not recommend

A most comfortable hotel, with a spacious and well designed room and barheoom. Good mini kitchen. Ideal forca short stay. The breakfast was adequate. Computers in the lobby were a good additional facility for those not carrying their laptops.

Walls were super thin. You can hear everything from your neighbors room. All the laughter, yelling at the kids, kids crying… everything!!! The neighborhood is no good. Looks like the slums. There were loud music into midnight for the 2 nights I stayed there. The owners of this place must be super stingy. The breakfast which wasn’t great to start with, had no eggs nor sausage as per advertised, was promptly closed at 9:00 am on the dot. They also did not make enough coffee to last till end of breakfast. It was 8:55 I tried to get some coffee, it already ran out. A lot of hotels have coffee all day long, it doesn’t cost that much guys to have coffee at least for the morning. The receptionist wasn’t that friendly also. Overall, bad hotel stay. Would never stay here again.

The hotel was nice and in a good location for where we had to visit and get to the airport. The climate control either had the room too hot or too cold and would push out cold air to cool the room off. Considering we went at the end of November, that was not good. We ended up turning the climate control off altogether. I would also suggest putting throw pillows onto the couch as a nice touch.

The springs on the pullout sofa bed were prominent. Please use a different hand soap. The soap bar offered by the hotel does not wash out no matter how long I rinse and scrub.

The front desk staff provided excellent service with the IT issues experienced around the world. The room furniture was definitely out dated, it was old, and didn’t seem clean enough to sit on and be comfortable. The carpet should have been replaced. When you come into the hotel, it has a great updated vibe, but rooms fail To carry on the updated theme. I love the way the breakfast was set up , it was clean and efficient, the rep for that area kept the food replenished. A great addition to the juice bar- was the lemon water. Nice exercise room. I cannot say enough how nice the reception area is, open space great seating. It would be nice to have paper towels since there’s a kitchenette.

My family came in from out of state and they truly enjoyed the stay, they especially enjoyed the walkable grounds and the beauty it captures. The one thing that I did experience that needs to be highlighted and that is the CUSTOMER SERVICE! The Staff from the front desk to the housekeeping was SO KIND and HELPFUL to my family and I (which is HUGE for me). Thank you for a great experience and GREAT service.

The system was down not allowing anyone to check-in. Given a room that had been clearly smoked in and had a nasty smell. Staff was aware and asked me to see the room before assigning it to me. They were waiting for a deep cleaning crew to get the smoke smell out. Also breakfast did not start till after 7 am but we had to head out by the time breakfast actually started

I really was inconvenienced. I booked two queen bed rooms and it wasn’t until I arrived that I was aware that my rooms were not available because of their renovations. The receptionists told me that I had to find another hotel. I told them that they would need to figure out where I was going to stay because they should have contacted me prior to my arrival. I drove for about 4 hours and I experienced a harsh trip. I was not about to give myself more work. One of the receptionists offered a discount because the rooms that I was staying at for the evening was not what I booked. They promised that I would move to my rooms the next day. My guest and I decided that we would stay in the king rooms they gave us because it would be too much to switch rooms the next day. So I asked the receptionists how would my rate change if I were to stay in the king bedroom. She told me of another discount. When they charged my account, they did not give me my full discounts for being inconvenienced and for staying in a king instead of a queen room. It took several back and forth with them to clear that out. I ended up canceling my event that evening because I was too busy going back and forth with them. I returned to this hotel because my prior experiences with them were good. This experience was a nightmare.

It was a pleasant stay with polite and accommodating check in, responsive service, clean and beautiful room full with amenities. The bed was comfortable and the TV is modern with large screen. This hotel will be our place to stay when we visit the area.
