Gold-Inn Hot Springs

Room was recently renovated and had everything you need in it. Very close drive to downtown Hot Springs. Outside is disappointing. No pool or exercise equipment or breakfast. Small dog area.

Retro motel stay, quiet, close to downtown. New bathrooms and nice bedroom, no hassle check in. Dog run for your dog with all you need to take care of business.

Know what you're getting if you stay here. The pictures of property are old and misleading. Had high expectations based off of both this site and Gold Inn's website. The room was mostly what we expected, clean, however there were some basic upkeeping that should be done. There are weeds in all the cracks and the outdoor seating area is unappealing. There's NO pool - they filled it in and NO breakfast, although both are advertised. Contactless check in isn't an option, its the only way. The only contact for items needed etc is via texting. The two guys working there weren't unkind, but almost seemed like we were a bother when we walked around and asked a question. The room was fine, but we were very disappointed as it was not what was advertised.

Having stayed here a few years ago, we were pretty bummed to get to the hotel and realize how different things were. Everything was rundown and had been reduced to the barest minimum. Chipped flooring was barely covered by a rug. The air conditioner didn’t work. The pool was paved over. Our door code didn’t work so we were lucky that a member of housekeeping just happened to be there. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Such an adorable, quiet place. Very clean, and extremely comfortable beds and pillows, great water pressure, lovely retro-style tiled bathroom (my favorite!) and a great community seating area in the back where we were able to make a fire in the fire pit and roast smores and relax. Will be staying again!

The photos show a pool but its no longer there. Granted, the description didnt list a pool but the pictures suggest there is one.

Absolutely loved this little gem! We had never stayed in this part of town before. We arrived at night & weren't too sure what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations! Extremely clean, quiet, and the bedding was comfortable. There was no service desk, everything was as done online & we got our room number/code through txt. That part wven went smoothly. We were excited that it was pet friendly too! They even had a backyard grass area for our Marvin. We would 100% recommend this quirky, cute little motor lodge!

Spent the weekend in Hot Springs, perfect base camp. Just east of downtown quick access to National Park, walkable but we parked downtown. Go east and back road to Gulpha Gorge Campground is peaceful spot to enjoy nature. Our room #4 was super clean and stylish, fun color combinations/design and historic photos of nearby landmarks. Toilet area is small, but doable for weekend. Rest of bathroom is wonderful, great vent, lit mirror, and tub/shower with plenty of room, full length mirror inside bathroom door. The AC worked great and kept the room cool and a ceiling fan. TV has a firestick. Liked parking directly in front of room and not paying downtown parking prices. We received door code morning of arrival and it was easy to operate. Never saw staff or needed anything, but they're a text away and supposedly quick to respond. The main road is just outside which I knew so had my white noise machine which did the trick for the late night motorcycle traffic. Overall they've done a beautiful job on the remodel of this property. There's a few tables and chairs on the patio, a great spot to hang out and a table and chair outside each room with hanging ferns. The mini fridge was roomy, we fit our Delucas pizza box inside. There's also a microwave and coffee maker we didn't use. Red Light Roastery just down the road, but only open Mon-Fri. Kollective Coffee & Tea for weekend. Golden Raised Donuts is next door. We loved our stay at Gold-Inn, will return!

All we had to do was text them and they appeared within 5 minutes with batteries. The pet relief area was very convenient and well maintained. Bed was comfy, clean room. Very close to downtown. Would absolutely stay here again.

Well the advertisement says pool and they dont have that. Only other thing was you had to sit sideways on the toliet. Other than that no complaints.

Great space for me and my kids. The small kitchen worked out perfectly. My only complaint was the amount of hair all over the ground in the unit (#14). That was pretty gross. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Pet friendly, renovated retro motel. About a mile to downtown. Area where motel is located is a bit rundown. We found a live roach crawling next to my dogs water dish and one fell on my arm as we were going out the front door.

We loved the location and the vintage vibe.

Clean space

The room itself was cute, they had a coffee maker and mini fridge/microwave, it being near the main strip was nice. But the mattress was disgusting and the bathroom wasnt clean. If your staying for one night it would be okay just dont take the sheets off. Overall was not terrible but for the price of one night i would have expected better.

This place is simple. I was excited. Walked up and the sliding glass door was fogged up. When I walked in the room was freezing, floor tiles were peeling, my bed sheets smelled of smoke, a/c was filthy and dropped dirt on to the bed, towels were scratchy, and black fuzzy spots were on the lights. The bath tiles are retro, my partner really liked them.

This room was spotless and smelled clean! Sheets were crisp and the bed comfortable. Great air conditioner! Price was very fair and I will definitely be back. Also, the staff was super friendly! If you like historical properties, this is perfect!

Stayed in Unit 12 (king room) on our way through town. Bedroom was small but spotless! Bathroom had been recently renovated with a cool lighted mirror and was the cleanest of any place I’ve ever payed to stay. Quiet and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again!

Loved the room, location, and very clean. Airbnb feel with the check in. The only downfall is the beds were not the best. We could feel the springs in them.

This is a renovated old-time motor inn. Our room was very clean with nice towels and bedding. The room is small so if you are planning on hanging out in your room a lot this may not be the place for you. It's about 10- 15 minute walk to downtown, which is perfectly safe, but not very picturesque.

The room is clean, the house keeping staff are nice. However there quiet a few spot that wood is chip(door and wall). The curtain should be tad wider to cover the whole french door without struggling. I guess breakfast is not free(when i searched I though i click on breakfast is provided by hotel/motel), I walk to donut shop that print out listed in the room and it cost extra to buy breakfast. Motel didn't provide any breakfast(beside coffee in the room) The wall is paper thin though, so be careful if you have kid/s(like we do) . And next door couple decide to get "busy"......your kid can hear a more than you want them to.

Lacked any pizazz. needed better decor to make up for the tiny bathroom that you had to sit sideways on the toilet so your knees didn't hit the wall. needed ice in the frig. better decorating to put it into the era and make me more forgiving of location and small bathroom..

Cute vintage motel. Room was small but I knew that before my stay. Room and bathroom were very clean. There was only a stool for seating other than the bed. I wish there had been a chair instead of the stool. Room had a small fridge and a microwave. Room temperature was easy to manage. Bathroom was nicely updated and had a great lighted mirror. Conveniently located minutes from the main tourist area and the bathhouses. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Gold Inn is a good makeover of an older motel. It is quite economical and a good value overall, however, there are a few problems. For starters, there is no front desk. They text you a code to get in your room. So, if you need more than 2 thin, small towels, you have no ay to get them. The bathroom door did not close all the way. They need to shave the bathroom doors so they close. There is no fan in the bathroom, so the wonderful lighted mirrors end up behind useless - covered in fog. The TV is all streaming. We never did figure out how to get local channels. Again - overall good, but some issues that could be problems for some.

The room wasn't cool,bed was not level, and the room was clean. We did not stay the night and drove home to stay at home a 5 hour drive. The room was not as advertised, all rooms in pictures show rooms that are spacious, but our room had maybe 2 feet in each direction of the bed. Will not book again, as we didn't stay the night.

It was okay, I wouldn’t stay here again because it was kind of dingy and not as reflected in the photos. Room was extremely small and cramped and the bed was not comfortable.

This was a quaint little place. I met the owner and he was very nice. The cleaning crew was very helpful! The toilet was tricky with me being 5 foot eleven! Had to sit sideways! Clean but needs a few updates, but they were actively working in rooms that were open!

It was so very convenient to the Hot Sprongs National Park and main Hot Springs tourist attraction that you could walk. Only drawback that the staff is not on the property. If you have a problem you need to make phone calls to reach the staff. So if there was a emergency you would be out of luck. It took a few tries to get ahold of staff, but did get a response after several minutes.

The hotel is good. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Gold-Inn was a very cozy place to stay in Hot Springs! Beds were comfy and the conveniences nearby are easily accessible. The owners responded quickly to our need for towels and the staff was very kind and gave us useful info without having to ask!

Extremely tiny room. Did not look like online photo. No staff available on the property. Received a text message to "text" with any questions. I did like that parking was available.

No staff on site, stayed 3 nights and never got any service. Trash just built up, no clean towels after first day, nothing. And pictures don’t show how trashed property is outside of the rooms. Should have just left day one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and quiet. It was simple with no frills but we knew that when we booked and were perfectly fine with it. The office staff I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. The motel is an older property but had been remodeled and is super cute. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future!

There is no front desk at this property. That should have been My first clue not to stay here. However, the pictures and reviews seemed good. When we arrived, it was clear both were staged. Our room was so bad we actually reloaded our car and booked another hotel in town. First, there are no deadbolts or chains on the room door. The door opens directly to the parking lot. The flimsy lock on the doorknob is not enough to keep someone or their property safe. The room we were given was an adjoining room. There was a little latch keeping the door shut between the rooms. A dresser was pushed in front of the door. Neither would keep anyone out. The walls are paper thin. We heard our neighbor’s phone call clearly through the wall. I’m sure she heard us too. The beds—where to start? One was shoved in a corner with barely any room to walk around it. The mattresses was so worn that when I sat on the bed, I practically sank to the floor. The lighting in the room was awful. There was a ceiling fan/light. However, there were no bulbs in the light fixture. We had to text about bulbs in other fixtures being out. Housekeeping came quickly, and she fixed the bulb that was flickering but didn’t have bulbs for the overhead light. The tv was only a smart tv—no live tv The bathroom—there was a bump out from the closet into the bathroom. The toilet is directly opposite the bump out. This means anyone over 5’4” can’t actually sit one the toilet without their knees hitting the wall.

We love this place! It's our second stay with them. The rooms are clean, cute, and comfortable. The location is very convenient amd close to downtown.

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the room was brand new, stylish, and spotlessly clean. Fun, old school motel vibe. Still a bit of a work in progress on exterior amenities, but enjoyed it nonetheless. 3-5 minute drive to the Bathhouse Row area, so a great location. Really enjoyed it and would stay again.

This is my go-to lodging when passing through hot springs. The rooms are minimal and clean , perfect for a night passing through town. It’s far enough from the main drag that you don’t get a lot of tourists / but close enough to walk to all the restaurants.

Overall it was a good Stay for the value and very close to Bathhouse Row. It was in a run down neighborhood, but the motel itself was recently remodeled and clean. Check in was easy. Loved the sunken tub. The mattresses were ntmot very comfortable though and our 2nd night the mini split AC froze up and wasnt working properly, so that made it very difficult to sleep.

The location was excellent. And the motel was very nice inside and outside. Affordable pricing to was a plus!

Location to Main Street is perfect. Price was in our budget and the ease of checking in. We will surely return!

This has a very cute retro vibe to it. We had a very inexpensive room with 2 large beds. Once check in was available, we received a text message with the room number and door code. Each room had a cute patio with some chairs on it. It is located just outside the main thorough-fair, but we were still able to walk to a donut shop and cute little photo-ops. There was a weird setup in the bathroom - the right side of the toilet was almost flush against the wall. The colors and size and comfortability of the hotel was perfect for a small family traveling on a budget.

Liked the Art deco. Quiet. Stayed 2 nights and only one coffee package and one coffee cup.

The property was in good location. Easy excess to restaurant's. Easy excess to attractions in the area. these are a few things i liked..... what i didn't like there is no one on premises. the room was to small. They didn't put coffee in the room all the accessory's was there no coffee
