No elevator, when the receptionist noticed I had a disable person with me he did not offer to switch us to a room on the first floor. Only 2 cars in the parking lot. Black mold lining the tub. The coffee pot had coffee in it from the previous occupants. Very very loud!

Kiosk check out was difficult, person on the other end was hard to understand. Bathtub floor was slanted and slippery, no grab bars. Bathrooms need better ventilation, clean towels felt damp. Actually the whole room needed better ventilation, objects in the room also felt slightly damp. 8:30 is too late for breakfast

We have stayed at this hotel over 40 times. It is not as well kept as if used to be and the front desk is no longer staffed in the evenings which is just crazy to me. Check in is done through a video with a virtual agent. Just not the same pleasant service and friendly atmosphere as in years past. It doesn't appear that the maintenance is being kept up with quite as meticulously as it had been in the past. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet throughout the night.

It is a nice old hotel. There is no elevator to the second floor. Everything feels old. Bathroom sink was very low, barely reached top of legs. Metal chairs at the table. Barely found enough outlets for all our devices; phone chargers, watch chargers, CPAP machine, hearing aids charger. Continental breakfast was a joke.

The room was clean and in pretty good condition, but the odor in the hall was nasty. We felt that the price was pretty high too, especially when we realized the next morning that the breakfast buffet didn't start until 8:30 am. We needed to hit the road, and others were leaving too, so it ft like they chose that time so they wouldn't have to feed any guests! Will not return...

Room was clean and adequate. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Breakfast started at 8:30 am. Way too late for most people. Breakfast items were microwaveable breakfast items, bagels, juice, coffee, etc. No hot items. Bed linens and towels show thier age.

I had the king extended stay suite. Was great to have the kitchen in the room as well as the huge walk in closet. Could have done without the strong chemical smell (most likely insecticide as there was an almost empty can of Raid under the kitchen sink) when I first got there and the dead bugs/spiders at most of the baseboards and corners of the room.

The location is fine. The bathroom had mold and the flooring was curling up. The tub was nasty. The breakfast was just cereal. The waffle maker and juice dispenser were "out of order".

In serious need of upgrade. Not enough plugs in good spots. I had to move the electrical strips and rearrange the cords to have enough. I would also imagine that if I spend $100+ I would have a movie channel or two. All in all not the best stay I’ve ever had.

Our experience at the Clocktower Inn would have been satisfactory, if nothing special, if it weren't for one major problem. It doesn't appear as if they have any employees in the building after 10:00pm to take care of problems in guest rooms. When our toilet became clogged we fully expected to have one delivered to the room within a reasonable time after we called their after hours/emergency line. I called that number twice leaving message both times after no one picked up. Finally left a message at the managers number after waiting about 45 minutes. No plunger or response was ever received. Can't imagine what a mess we would have had on our hands had the toilet overflowed. Frankly, never stayed in a hotel, no matter how inexpensive, that would let this happen. It was a strange and disappointing stay because of this.

Staff was very friendly. Although we checked out before 7AM We had to check out via a video, the person we spoke with was difficult to understand, however we managed and got a receipt. Breakfast is served at 8:30. We planned to leave well before that the next day, so the attendant gave us permission to take our breakfast sandwich to our room so we could have it before departing. I would gladly stay here again

This really is the only hotel in the area if you have to stay, but it is really an old building and a lot of the stuff in the room is very old as well seemed clean but at the same time not exactly clean you’d have to stay there to see what I mean water pressure for taking a shower was the worst Maybe it’s just because everybody was taking a shower at the same time I don’t know, but I will not stay there again.

Breakfast is not served until 8:30 am, and is almost non-existent except for Fruit Loops, corn flakes, and a couple of pre-packaged sandwiches and bagels. We ended up going to a restaurant. I guess if you have to stay in Berne, this is your only choice.

The room was cute, had some Amish furniture throughout the hotel. There were games, books, and DVD’s available to watch in your room. The breakfast area tiny, there was 2 cereal dispensers, juice, water, and coffee. As far as other food there was yogurt and breakfast sandwiches, wrapped in plastic, that had to be warmed up in the microwave. Breakfast offerings were the only negative thing I experienced
