Holiday Inn Express Natchez South West by IHG

This hotel is showing its age and needs a remodel job. It is hard to make a property in this condition look good and clean. The tf was slow to react if they were even at the front desk in the first place. I had to walk around the desk and yell for someone to address my issue. Breakfast was the same old fake omelets, the orange juice ran out and a new sheet never came after requesting one due to water spillage. The final straw before checking out and moving to a Hampton Inn was the water flow was not even the thickness of a pencil, and the shower did not have enough pressure to work properly. Because we had a carload of luggage and two dogs, the decision to move was difficult. We went ahead and moved o the Hampton Inn next door which made the trip more enjoyable.

Didn’t have hot water in my shower it was a stinky smell on the whole 3rd floor

Staff was fantastic. The lobby and other areas were clean however the room was not very clean. The bathroom had hair on the vanity and in the bathtub. The shower curtain had a lot of visible dirt on the bottom of it. Plus one or two lights over the sink were out. There was a lot of furniture polish on the furniture. So much that we had to wipe it down before setting anything on it. Carpet needed additional vacuuming.

The staff was pleasant. The room could use some maintenance. However, it was clean and overall a good experience.

Breakfast was amazing the coffee was great not too weak and the buffet bar stayed full and had turkey sausage a big plus in my book because I don’t eat pork. Breakfast bar and lobby clean and modern. The room was not as nice it had stained dirty looking carpet and the bathroom tub was gross. And the bathroom door at the bottom was discolored due to water damage
