Very nice place to stay while in town. Only comment relates to the king bed being quite hard. Brunch was fine... good staff and menu selection. I found the presentation to be somewhat uninspired and the food to be similar to that of a good diner

Considering the location (Winter Park), and the price ($450+/night, $300/night for the base room), along with descriptions on the site, we anticipated a 5-star experience at a 4-star location. Unfortunately that was not the case. A bit odd is the option to bid on upgrades. I understand room category upgrades, but a $100+ bid for an early check-in doesn’t make any sense, and seems like a money-grab. Our toilet would not flush upon arrival and maintenance did not attempt to repair it during the 5 hour window we were gone and requested to do so. So the repair was completed while we were in the room wanting to relax. The staff at the front desk was super pleasant, as well as service staff at the bar and restaurant on the first floor. Although we did find it odd to have shrimp cocktail as large as we had (6” long and 1.5” thick), in addition to it being served warm, the food was very good, but not next-level great. Understandably, that could be personal preference though. We were also very surprised by the amount of dogs we saw during the 3 days stay. There were enough dogs for us to take note. We are not allergic, but someone who is would definitely need to consider this before their stay. Each day the lobby has fresh cookies available, which are the highlight of the stay. They were fantastic and not your typical flavors. Like mentioned, however, location is second to none for a downtown Winter Park visit. The rooms, furniture, and amenities were all very comfortable and clean.
