Nice room with a wall mounted TV, small eating table, small fridge and Kurig machine with 2 pods. Heat pump/air conditioner. The bed was very comfortable though the pillows on the small side but at least 2 per person. The bathroom is massive, really it would be better to have that room in the bedroom but that's nit picking. It was a great stay but the restaurant across the street was disappointing. Slow service, expensive and just meh food.

Exactly what we needed on our Cabot Trail visit. A clean and comfy affordable room. Across the street is a great local restaurant (Main Street Restaurant). Definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice place, clean and roomy, they have a bbq which we used but didn't have any plates or cutlery which the owner was very accommodating and supplied us with some. Would definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

We had a spacious well equipped cabin, a bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a good sized living area with good kitchen facilities. The deck is covered and has a large table and chairs. There are a number of planter chairs to relax in the grounds and also 3 outdoor cookers for the BBQ brigade.

Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! We appreciated the in-room Keurig and small dining table, as we had an early-morning whale watching tour one day so we were able to breakfast in our room. The Main Street restaurant is good and right across the street, with outside tables available. We spent several hours in the comfortable porch chairs, reading and watching the little juncos hop around feeding. Our only small complaint was that the in-room refrigerator was fairly loud. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Nicely updated bathrooms, clean; table and chairs on the outside patio, bbq available for use by quests. Property grounds well maintained, clean. Short walk to the lakeside beach and oceanside beach as well. Very pleasant stay.

I liked the large , spotlessly clean bathroom with a Bath. Pity the tv was so small and the remote control do hard to understand. There was quite a bit of garbage around the large bins near driveway. The wood structure to contain the bins was quite broken and it looked like it had been attacked by animals over the years. Garbage was lying around.

One of the better hotels I stayed in over a 2-week trip. Cabin was spacious, convenient, and comfortable. Private porch was great for my needs. Easy check-in. Right across the road from a restaurant, and a decently short walk to the great beach (about 15 minutes one way)

Bathroom is updated and wuite nice. Place is very clean. Location is right ar the gate of Cape Breton park. Only downside is the rooms is a bit small. It was difficult to move around.

Bathroom was huge and entire room was very clean. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Unfortunately, TV satellite was not working and office was closed. A phone number was provided if guests needed assistance however, that number was out of service. Very disappointing when you expect amenities you are paying for and don't receive.

A small cottage/cabin that worked fine for 1 night. The room was clean and the beds were fine. The staff person who checked us in was very friendly and provided a lot of information about trails for hiking. There are several beautiful trails a short driving distance from the cabins. We hiked along the beach and watched the sunset over a small lake. Restaurant selection was very limited in the area.

After a day on the Cabot Trail, the Skyline Cabins were perfect for a good night's rest. The beds were comfortable, the room had a desk on which to do computer work, the wifi was good, and there was a great breeze blowing through all of the windows. The staff was very friendly and offered good suggestions for what to do and where to eat in town. Definitely a great stay.

We arrived early and they were very accommodating, as its shoulder season lots of local amenities were closed but they gave us great hiking and dining recommendations. The cabins are roomy and well kept. Highly recommended!!

This property is decent. We had 1 night stay. There is no cable, limited toiletries and no ironing boards. The bathroom was huge. The host was a bit difficult to understand. The restaurant across the road was super expensive. 80 bucks for two 1 piece fish and chips woth 2 beers.
