I have used this place last year, although new owners, the service and the safety of the motel hasn’t changed. It is a great place to stay. There is a pool and fire pit, I will return next year for sure Kim

We were disappointed with out stay when you finally got hot water in the shower if someone in room beside flushed or started their shower ours went scalding hot, shower drained must have been plugged didnt drain while having a shower so you stood in water , stained pillow cases, Rooms are not soundproof, Pool wasnt cleaned, seal on fridge was hanging off, tolietries were left from previous visitors Burning something when we arrived ..doing maintenance we were told..pretty sure there was burn ban on.and do not think this is time to do yes it was before 4 pm check in but I received a phone call to come between 2:30 and 3..arrived at 2:50 and was told doing maintenance could we come back thought great that is right across from our room This was our anniversary stay it was disappointing to say the least , we were not expecting the Ritz but thought clean was not a big ask Only given 1 room key, towels were big hand towels

This was our 2nd stay at this property..the new owners are extremely nice ! Outdoor pool is nice. Outdoor fire pit makes the evening even more relaxing. 10 min walk to downtown restaurants. The beach is also quick to get to ! Overall very happy with our stay and the price is affordable! I am planning another stay for next year !

I had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Motel! The owners were lovely! They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was small but had a very comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV. Everything was clean and in good condition. There is a nice pool and BBQ area available to guests. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach but Kincardine has lots of free parking so i drove into town to the beach with washrooms nearby. Kincardine is a lovely town that celebrates it's Scottish heritage. The highlight of the day was the lone badpiper who played every night from the top of the lighthouse as the sun was going down. All in all it was a comfortable, relaxing, and very refreshing stay.

Smelt very strongly of Indian like sweat and curry. Quite dirty and grimy, lots of earwigs in the room. Horrible water pressure, it was quite difficult to shower with it aimed at the wall and not able to move.

This is an old roadside motel with about a dozen rooms where each room has a single parking slot right in front of its room door. The rooms are small but have been somewhat modernized. My only real complaint is that the faux hardwood floor in my room had not been cleaned and was pretty dirty. I also found only one wall outlet in the room, nowhere else to plug in chargers.

My time at Lakeview Motel was a pleasant off-season stay. Winter time can be fun! My room was clean and you can tell it was recently updated with space for 1-2 people. The owners were kind and on the spot if needed. Such as getting cable and Internet on my laptop and phone I was very comfortable with my sux-evening stay.

We were just looking for a comfortable bed in a clean room at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we got. Room looked recently renovated. Rooms are small but if you just need a place to sleep, perfect. There was a coffee maker, microwave and hair dryer. Bathroom was very clean. Other motels in the area were almost twice the price and all we needed was a clean/safe place to sleep.

To start he couldn’t find my reservation. The room was very tight for 2beds The taps in the shower were reversed and switched from freezing to scalding during my shower. The air conditioner was very inefficient and had to be turned off to use the hair dryer that didn’t work. Thank goodness I brought my own. The room was clean and I found my bed comfortable the toilet leaked so mopped it up with the shower towel. There was no safety mat in the shower the towel had a hole in it oh my not like a first class hotel although I felt our fee was very high. How does that sound. How about a reduced rate. The staff are terrific! Wonderful service and so respectful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. Recently renovated and cozy. The BBQ and fire pit area is an added touch. We had a great stay and would recommend this Motel. Beautiful town to visit great beaches and good food.

Super cute motel! walking distance to the beach, even though it wasnt the summer season yet, i would definitely come back preferably in the summer. The manager/staff was really friendly and accommodating for whatever we needed. They certainty go above and beyond for their guest.
