Myrtleford Motel on Alpine

Conveniently located to everything. Parking was excellent, roomy & partly under cover, in-front of unit. Had a nice pool but it was too cold to use during our time there in Winter. Would book again.

Our hotel stay was met with a smile and a much needed helping hand. Kylie was very obliging and her willingness to assist us with our needs was greatly appreciated. The room was clean, with comfortable amenities. The pool was spotless and bonus feature! We will be back!

Pool was full of bugs. Not sure if the sheets have been cleaned as there are hairs.

Comfy bed. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Pool (too cold). Undercover BBQ area. Quiet. Not far from town.

The pool and BBQ facilities are fantastic

The room was spacious and very comfortable and the pool and barbecue facilities were an added bonus. Kylie and staff were very accommodating we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again - highly recommend

Stay was good but only 3 channels worked on the tv and pool was broken we were really looking forward to a nice swim.wish they had of told me eatlier on that it was broken.however they were kind enough to calll me to see when we were arriving and turned on the aircon for us

The property has a great outdoor area where you can sit and eat food or cook on a BBQ.

We liked the spacious room & the spacious parking spots. The decor was lovely and modern. The pool was spotless and was lovely to swim in. The motel is a very easy walking distance from restaurants and the piazza.

Stay was average. It would have been better if they maintain pool with normal temperature water and change of sheets and towels after 2 days as agreed while checkin. Only towels were given after we asked for it. Hence suggest guests to carry spare towels.

An old property. Bathroom sink was cracked. I couldn’t get into shower as I have MS. Toilet stank.

Always a pleasure to stay here, staff lovely and welcoming. Room clean and bedding very crisp and comfortable. Sixth time we have stayed here and never disappointed. Bathroom a little dated but overall fine.

I loved how clean and well setup the property was.

The room was well presented but the bathroom had long black hairs all over the floor. The walls are thin so you hear everything going on in next room.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was OK although the bathroom was tiny and badly lacking in shelf space, nowhere much to put your toiletries. We had a 3 night stay and the room was not serviced during that period, which was explained at check in. The yard needed some attention, a lot of potholes in the driveway.

Easy check in. Very clean room. Beds are wonderfully comfortable. Warm rooms.

Fresh renovations. Very clean. Covered parking at the front door of your unit. Exclusive wide park with no cars next to you. Quiet air con. Will stay here again.

Lovely bright, clean room. Excellent shower. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. Partly-undercover car parking outside room was helpful when loading up prior to departure in rain. Only gripe was the old TV with only standard definition tuner. No HD or 'extra' channels could be viewed. I would happily stay again.

Modern property in excellent condition. Upgraded room was excellent, but the standard room would have been similarly satifying.

Clean and comfortable stay. Close to all attractions. The only criticism I would mention is the tv was a little old, wanted to watch the women’s French open final but couldn’t as the Tv’S digital channels were limited.

Cold rooms, inadequate heating

Very clean and pleasant rooms with plenty of space. Would have given a higher overall rating it if was not for the noisy people in the next room, who showered at 11:00 pm and then again at 5:20am the next morning before leaving for the snow at 6:00am. This highlighted the issue of the plumbing as I thought that someone was showering in our bathroom the water noise was so loud.

Our flight was changed and delayed at the very last moment. This made it necessary to arrive late at night. We were then told that arriving late at night at this motel was ‘unacceptable’ - due to risk of us causing noise - and that we should find alternative accommodation - that’s literally at the 11th hour, just before getting on a plane to Melbourne! Crazy stuff and why? People who choose to stay in off-the-highway cheap motels surely must expect some noise. Every unit at this motel has a separate door. It took a lot of convincing for them (the motel staff) to finally allow us to stay. Get on with the times, this is the 21st century. They said next time they would not be making such exceptions for us. Well rest assured there will NOT be next time, we’ll avoid this unfriendly motel like a plague. Incidentally, we got woken up in the early hours of the morning by bogans from other units slamming car doors… Why not ban them also, then you’ll have no guests at all - and no noise at all, just the way you seem to like it… It is unacceptable for them to give us such hard time. Inflexible and unhelpful .

Lovely friendly staff, very helpful

DO NOT STAY if you want hot shower. I booked 2nights family connecting suite for 5 of us, but we ran out of hot water after just two of us had showers. When I contacted the staff, we requested to change rooms or shower elsewhere, but we were told that all rooms were fully booked. The only solution offered was to reboot the hot water system, and we were told we would have to wait 1.5 hours for it to reheat. I explained that we couldn't wait that long, as my boys were exhausted after a long day of hiking. The staff member told us she had done her best and wouldn't be able to call a plumber. We could only hope the hot water would work later. I had to keep my 8-year-old and 5-year-old entertained during this wait so they wouldn't fall asleep, covered in dirt from the day. After 1.5 hours, the water was still only warm—not hot. By then, it was around 10 PM, and I couldn't wait any longer. I quickly showered my boys, but the water turned cold again before I could take my shower, forcing me to wash in cold water. I asked for compensation for my bad experience, but none was offered. I then requested to check out the next day, and finally they agreed to refund me for the 2nd night. Due to this bad experience, I had to cancel my plans for the next day to go home, as I didn’t want to risk another night w/o hot water.

Reception was very friendly and had our room ready with the heater on when we got there. Appreciate the extra bit of service

We did not feel safe at the property. Even though we were given a late check out at 1030 (normally 1000), cleaner opened our door without knocking around 0940. Obviously we were startled, more so with the events occurring in this area. Would not return here and could not recommend this place if you value your safety and privacy in a motel.

Clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff

Kylie was great at check in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was modern with big walk in shower. Easy access to cycling path and located next to Clib Savoy.

Waited 20 minutes outside locked office in the heat to check in after multiple calls and left messafes someine finally came. My room booking couldnt be found then my room i was funally given wasnt ready so i had to wait for it to be mopped and inspected. The snake alarms went off all night keeping me awake. I was exhausted after driving 6 hours to get there and then had to drive a further 7 hours on minimal sleep to get to my destination.

Staff were truly amazing property was quite simple and perfect for a weekend getaway close to shops and plenty of great dining options as well as nature walks!

Motel on Alpine is a nice place to stay in. Close to the shops and restaurants. The Mosaic walk starts across the road. Highly recommended

Loved the quiet location, hostess very welcoming, extremely clean and comfotable, almost directly opposite start point for Ovens River Trail Parkrun - only a 2 minute walk. Thoroughly Recommendation it as a Place to stay.

The property is located just as you enter town which helps with keeping the noise down.

Really enjoyed staying here! Such a great location. Kids loved the pool, we loved the outdoor communal areas. Quick walk to the rivers and town. Very clean. Friendly hard working staff. thank you

Have stayed here numerous times over the years for work. First time back after about 6 years. Disappointed to see they no longer have a restaurant. Bungalow was very compact. Larger guests / those with mobility issues might struggle with using the toilet. Sliding door on bathroom a little loose ( no bracket at base holding it in place ). Sliding fly screen door to outside broken - wouldn’t slide. Otherwise very clean. Staff friendly and doing their best.

Great place to stay on The Great Alpine Rd. It’s a shame the restaurants within the town are only open Wed -Sun so be mindful of this if choosing to stay on other days. Luckily the Vietnamese street food was delicious and fresh

We had a great stay and enjoyed that the room had tea & coffee making and bonus plates, bowls & cutlery so that we could enjoy take-away meals and breakfast. The bathroom towels were nice and fluffy. Convenient for our needs and would stay again.

小さな気持ちの良い街のはずれにあるモーテル。プールもあり、室内にもレンジ、食器もあり設備は整っている。街の中心には歩いて１５分程度掛かるので若干不便だが、中心地にはレストランが複数あり、Colesもあるので便利。
