The Croft Hotel is in a very quiet location but a short bus journey or drive from the city centre and ideally located for the De Montfort Hall. Our room was spacious, with good natural light by day and electric lighting by night. It was a large room which was very clean and comfortable with ample storage for belongings and plenty of power sockets and windows that you can open! Our bed was extremely clean and comfortable and the shower was easy to regulate. The hotel has a bar and a TV room. The staff were as friendly and helpful as they could possibly have been, making sure that we were comfortable and giving advice as needed. It was a great place to stay and I'd not hesitate to return there should I ever return to Leicester. I do have one suggestion for the owner and that is to consider replacing the curtains in the ground floor room we stayed in. Currently, the curtains don't quite cover the windows, which didn't bother us but might be a problem for future guests.
