We booked a family room which on check in we were informed that it had some sort of problem. We were upgraded to two separate rooms with a jacuzzi. Unfortunately one of the rooms was not made up so we were changed once again. One of the rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes and the other of damp but since we there for only two nights I didn’t worry too much about it. The rooms showed a bit of wear and tear but again we were not too worried. The breakfast was ok and they catered very well for my wife’s gluten intolerance. The terrace pool was small but it did the job.

The rooms were great and by far the best feature. There was a privacy wall separating the kids from us, and they each had their own bed -- their favorite part of our trip-- The rooftop pool sounded great, but in reality was very tiny, and the bar was small and full of dirty dishes left by others. The staff I dealt with checking in were by far the worst part of the hotel experience. The woman who checked us in was not helpful, was short with us the entire time- we just needed to hand her our passports (everyone was exhausted by this point)- waved me off when I asked about parking the rental. She did not tell us how to open the gate. Had to walk back up the hill and around to the front of the building because we couldn't turn the car around. All that needed to be said was to push the tiny yellow button (there was more than one button to push) and give the room number to the person answering--- pretty simple when you know what's expected. I was happy to move on to the next place.

I had a great experience overall. The hotel was excellent, and the housekeeping was outstanding—almost too good, as the room was cleaned very frequently. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Spain, with a wide variety of options and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. The gym was modern and well-equipped, and having a sauna was a great bonus. The staff also spoke English very well, which made everything easy. One thing that could be improved is the pool area. It was often very crowded, and it could get quite noisy at times. A special mention goes to Santi, who truly made my stay memorable. He was incredibly genuine, friendly, and welcoming, and deserves recognition for the exceptional service he provided. The hotel is located just outside central Barcelona. If you don't mind walking—which I highly recommend—it takes a while to reach the city center, but you'll get to see a lot of the city along the way. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with a shopping mall next door and supermarkets just across the street.

The hotel is very clean, linens are clean, and pressed, beds comfortable, staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. We noticed that the hotel hallways don’t have the AC on so it’s hot the, rooms AC seems to be centrally controlled as we cannot adjust it ourselves.
